Marjorie Taylor Greene Pitches A Fit Over Trump’s Possible Arrest: ‘Enough Of This!’

For those still doubting that failed one-term, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump will actually be indicted by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg next week, it seems that we have a confirmation of such an event from the disgraced ex-president and one of his most deranged acolytes in Congress.

Early this morning, Trump posted two enraged all-caps rants on his failing Truth Social site in which he suggested the big day will be Tuesday, March 21.

“OUR NATION IS NOW THIRD WORLD & DYING. THE AMERICAN DREAM IS DEAD! THE RADICAL LEFT ANARCHISTS HAVE STOLLEN OUR PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, AND WITH IT, THE HEART OF OUR OUR COUNTRY. AMERICAN PATRIOTS ARE BEING ARRESTED & HELD IN CAPTIVITY LIKE ANIMALS, WHILE CRIMINALS & LEFTIST THUGS ARE ALLOWED TO ROAM THE STREETS, KILLING & BURNING WITH NO RETRIBUTION. MILLIONS ARE FLOODING THROUGH OUR OPEN BOARDERS, MANY FROM PRISONS & MENTAL INSTITUTIONS. CRIME & INFLATION ARE DESTROYING OUR VERY WAY OF LIFE…”

“NOW ILLEGAL LEAKS FROM A CORRUPT & HIGHLY POLITICAL MANHATTAN DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE, WHICH HAS ALLOWED NEW RECORDS TO BE SET IN VIOLENT CRIME & WHOSE LEADER IS FUNDED BY GEORGE SOROS, INDICATE THAT, WITH NO CRIME BEING ABLE TO BE PROVEN, & BASED ON AN OLD & FULLY DEBUNKED (BY NUMEROUS OTHER PROSECUTORS!) FAIRYTALE, THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!”

A couple of hours later, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) posted her own angry screed on Twitter, suggesting that she wants to defund the Justice Department if Trump is indicted in Manhattan, even though the DOJ has nothing to do with the New York case.

“If the Manhattan DA indicts President Trump, he will ultimately win even bigger than he is already going to win. And those Republicans that stand by and cheer for his persecution or do nothing to stop it will be exposed to the people and will be remembered, scorned, and punished by the base. President Trump did nothing wrong and has always fought for the American people, and we all know it, which is why we love him. And any Republican who thinks the Democrats will stop this madness once Trump is out of the way is fooling themselves. Weaponized Government and Political Persecution are new chapters in their playbook and they will use those methods against anyone who stands in their way. And we are absolutely fed up with the two-tiered justice system or rather INJUSTICE system in America. The base has had enough of Republicans that won’t stand up for the people and against the Democrats war against Trump, his admin, his supporters, and traditional values.”

She then added:

“We must bring in the Biden DOJ officials who have been coordinating with the Manhattan DA to testify. And subpoena all of it. We must end the weaponization of government power for politics.”

“Biden’s DOJ is coordinating with the Democrat Manhattan DA to arrest Donald Trump, the top Republican Presidential candidate for 2024, and charge him with a fake outdated misdemeanor charge. It’s ALL FOR POLITICS! This is what they do in communists countries to destroy their political opponents! Republicans in Congress MUST subpoena these communists and END this! We have the power to do it and we also have the power to DEFUND their salaries and departments! Enough of this! The American people deserve a government that actually works for them NOT a bunch of self centered communists who bail out their donors, protect the elites, and weld their power to punish their political enemies!”

Is Trump going to be indicted? Yes. Next Tuesday in Manhattan. It’s a done deal, and the proof is in the social media postings from him and his three-toed disciple.

Federal Judge Orders Trump Attorney To Testify Before Grand Jury In ‘Monumental Ruling’

A federal judge ruled Friday that an attorney for ex-president Donald Trump must testify before a grand jury as part of the ongoing investigation of the former president’s handling of classified material he took with and stored at his Mar-a-Lago resort.

According to CNN, District Judge Beryl Howell determined that Justice Department prosecutors met the standard for the crime-fraud exception that allows the DOJ to pierce attorney-client privilege, meaning that Evan Corcoran must appear before a grand jury.

Corcoran, an attorney-turned-witness, had previously testified to the grand jury but declined to answer some questions, citing attorney-client privilege. The department argued to the judge he should not be able to avoid answering, because his discussions with the former president may have been part of an attempt to plan a crime.

Howell’s ruling is one of her last on sealed grand jury disputes as chief judge. The Obama appointee has repeatedly green-lit Justice Department requests to pursue information about Trump’s actions during her tenure as chief of the DC District Court, but she rotates out of the administrative role on Friday.

Judge Howell’s decision is the latest legal setback for the twice-impeached former president as part of the ongoing investigation being conducted by DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith, with CNN adding:

“The development is particularly notable because of accusations prosecutors would have made about Trump as they argued to the judge for the grand jury testimony.”

Nicolle Wallace Speaks For America: It’s Been 800 Days, Why Isn’t Trump Under Arrest?!

MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace is sick and tired of waiting for someone (anyone!) to hand down a criminal indictment against failed, one-term, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump for his role in the January 6, 2021 Capitol insurrection, and she’s reached the end of her rope, wanting to know when the ex-president will finally be held accountable for his many crimes.

Speaking with former FBI agent Peter Strzok on “Deadline: White House,” Thursday, Wallace expressed her frustration, which led Strzok to cite recent poll numbers that show Fox News has seen a substantial decrease in the viewers who believe the Fox lies about the 2020 election being stolen.

“That’s the kind of thing I don’t understand. If you go to the 23 percent of Republicans are out there, or whatever the number is, say, hey, let’s lay down all these photographs from the hospital. Is this something you support? Because I don’t know how anybody with a straight face can say ‘Aw, yeah, you know, that’s all right.’ Because it flies in the face of logic. I think what we’re seeing here is people who aren’t thinking too deeply about what occurred. Who are watching Tucker Carlson and all these peaceful protesters by picking two minutes out of hundreds of thousands of hours of coverage and aren’t chalking or being presented with the truth of what occurred.”

Wallace then turned to former acting assistant attorney general for national security Mary McCord and asked why none of the top officials have yet been charged for the Capitol insurrection, to which McCord replied:

“All indications are that that is what is happening. That’s the investigation that Jack Smith has taken over. We certainly know from reporting that there have been a number of people very close to the former president who have been subpoenaed in recent weeks and months it appears that some of those people are not cooperating. It’s also been reported that Jack Smith sought the assistance — or sought an appeal to the chief judge in D.C. for her help.”

McCord added that she shares Wallace’s frustration that the Justice Department hasn’t done anything yet.

“But I will say, it’s not unusual in a case of this nature,” said McCord. “I say this nature. There’s nothing of this nature that I experienced in my more than 23 years in the department. But a case of this magnitude, it does take some time. The records are voluminous. And getting the right evidence — if the department is going to indict a former president, they want it to be locked up solid.”

Surprise Witness In Manhattan Case Against Trump Suggests ‘Something Bigger’ Is Brewing

On Monday morning, former Trump attorney and fixer Michael Cohen showed up at a Manhattan courthouse to testify before a grand jury impaneled by District Attorney Alvin Bragg, signaling what many legal experts say is the final stage of the case being developed against former president Donald Trump for paying hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels in direct violation of New York law, according to The Hill.

The former personal lawyer to Trump has met with Bragg’s office on multiple occasions in recent weeks as he expressed a desire to testify and see charges brought against the former president in connection with a 2016 hush payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

“My goal is to tell the truth,” Cohen told reporters outside the courthouse, according to the AP.

“This is not revenge,” he added. “This is all about accountability. He needs to be held accountable for his dirty deeds.”

But an unexpected witness also showed up at the same courthouse, The Daily Beast reports.

The surprise witness who testified Monday was none other than Jennifer Weisselberg, the ex-wife of Barry Weisselberg, son of convicted Trump Organization CEO Allen Weisselberg. Why was she there? She explained:

“Something has changed and it’s up-leveled. It’s bigger than any taxes, paper, insurance, banks, insurance…it’s bigger than money.”

Sounds like maybe Ms. Weisselberg has some information that we don’t yet know about. Information that will likely be contained in the upcoming indictment.

When will we see that indictment? It could be as soon as this week.

Trump Rants On Social Media That All The Criminal Investigations Of Him Are ‘Sick Fake News’

As multiple criminal probes gain traction and are likely to result in criminal indictments, failed one-term, twice-impeached former president lashed out on his failing Truth Social platform, insisting that all of the investigation are “sick fake news.”

Just last week, a report from the New York Times revealed that prosecutors from the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg had informed Trump’s lawyers that their client is about to be indicted for hush money payments he made to adult film star Stormy Daniels, whom he allegedly had an affair with.

The disgraced ex-president is also facing criminal charges in the state of Georgia, where he attempted to have the results of the state’s 2020 election overturned and him declared the winner.

Additionally, the Justice Department is also considering charging Trump for his role in the January 6, 2021 Capitol insurrection and for hoarding hundreds of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort.

Despite all of those legal landmines, Trump posted this angry screed on Truth Social:

“These Four Radical Left investigations of your all time favorite President, ME, is just a continuation of the most disgusting Witch Hunt in the HISTORY of our Country,” Trump began before continuing in an angry call-caps tirade.

“No different than the RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA HOAX, the UKRAINE, UKRAINE, UKRAINE IMPEACHMENT SCAM, the SPYING ON MY CAMPAIGN, the ‘NO COLLUSION’ MUELLER REPORT, etc. Whether it’s the MAR-a-LAGO RAID, the UNSELECT COMMITTEE HOAX, the PERFECT GEORGIA PHONE CALL, or the STORMY ‘HORSEFACE’ DANIALS (sic) EXTORTION PLOT, ALL SICK, FAKE NEWS!”

He sounds scared, doesn’t he?
