Lawsuit Claims Rudy Sold Presidential Pardons And Split The Profits With Trump

A lawsuit filed by a former aide to Rudy Giuliani accuses the former New York City mayor of selling presidential pardons and splitting the profits of those sales with indicted former president/sex offender Donald Trump.

The Independent reports that the suit was filed in a New York court on Monday, alleges that Giuliani bragged that he had sold pardons from Trump and made a cool fortune from the endeavor.

A former aide to former Trump attorney Rudolph Giuliani says he told her the ex-New York City mayor and then-president Donald Trump were offering to sell presidential pardons for $2 million apiece, according to court documents.

The bombshell allegation was levied in a complaint filed against Mr Giuliani by Noelle Dunphy, a New York-based public relations professional who is suing him for “unlawful abuses of power, wide-ranging sexual assault and harassment, wage theft, and other misconduct” committed while she worked for him in 2019 and 2020.

According to page 25 of the lawsuit:

(Giuliani) also asked Ms. Dunphy if she knew anyone in need of a pardon, telling her that he was selling pardons for $2 million, which he and President Trump would split. He told Ms. Dunphy that she could refer individuals seeking pardons to him, so long as they did not go through “the normal channels” of the Office of the Pardon Attorney, because correspondence going to that office would be subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act.

If indeed Trump did agree to sell pardons with Giuliani’s help, the two could be facing enormous legal jeopardy, especially if Justice Department Special Counsel Jack Smith decides to pursue the accusations found in Dunphy’s lawsuit.

Smith is currently investigating if Trump committed crimes connected to the 2020 election and his removal of classified documents from the White House which he later took with him to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

Mike Pence Is About To Send Trump To Federal Prison For A Very Long Time

In a move that almost no one saw coming, former vice president Mike Pence announced today that he won’t appeal an order that he testify before a grand jury empaneled by Special Counsel Jack Smith, who is looking into whether or not failed ex-president Donald Trump tried to illegally overturn the 2020 election.

NBC News reports:

The decision not to fight the order could provide special counsel Jack Smith with remarkable access to one of the key people with critical insight into Trump’s thinking and efforts to cling to power.

Robert Costa of CBS News noted that the move by Pence is not only historic, but it’s the worst possible development for Trump, who is facing indictment on federal charges related to the 2020 election and the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

“This Pence development today is significant and potentially historic. A former vice president is now willing, within certain specified constitutional grounds his lawyers fought to arrange, to testify about potential illegal acts by a president.”

“Trump’s lawyers might try to appeal Pence’s decision, but they keep losing efforts to assert exec. priv. with this grand jury. That means Pence could appear before Jan. 6 grand jury in the coming weeks to testify under oath about what exactly Trump did and said in private.”

“Think about what this means,” Costa said.

“The special counsel could now get a first-hand account of what Trump specifically said to Pence in Oval Office meetings ahead of Jan. 6, as long as Pence and his lawyers do not consider those conversations related to his specific constitutional role.”

Mike Pence, to borrow a phrase, knows where the bodies are buried. He had access to the innermost workings of the Trump administration, including efforts to overturn the election and the Capitol insurrection.

In other words, whether he likes it or not, Mike Pence is potentially on the verge of sending Donald Trump to federal prison for a very long time.

White House Switchboard Called A Capitol Rioter During January 6 Attack: Report

A senior adviser to the House Select Committee investigating the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol has revealed that on the day of the riots, the White House switchboard called a rioter as the attack was taking place.

Denver Riggleman, who served as a senior technical adviser to the Jan. 6 panel, told 60 Minutes correspondent Bill Whitaker:

“You get a real ‘a-ha’ moment when you see that the White House switchboard had connected to a rioter’s phone while it’s happening. That’s a big, pretty big ‘a-ha’ moment.”

Riggleman, a former GOP congressman from the state of Virginia who also served as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Air Force, added:

“I only know one end of that call. I don’t know the White House end, which I believe is more important. But the thing is the American people need to know that there are link connections that need to be explored more.”

What remains to be seen, Riggleman noted, is who exactly in the White House reached out to a rioter right as the Capitol was under violent attack, and what that individual was trying to communicate:

“From my perspective…being in counterterrorism. If the White House, even if it’s a short call, and it’s a connected call, who is actually making that phone call?”

That led Whitaker to inquire:

“Is there a simple, innocent explanation for that?”

Riggleman:

“Was it an accidental call? When the White House just happened to call numbers that somebody misdialed a rioter that day, on January 6th? Probably not.”

CBS News also notes that the House Select Committee has done extensive research on communications during the fateful events of Jan. 6 which resulted in the deaths of five people, including a member of the U.S. Capitol Police:

The call was uncovered after Riggleman assembled a small team of data miners and analysts for the committee to comb through 20 million lines of data: emails, social media posts, phone records, and texts, to learn who did what leading up to and on January 6th.

“We were able to do things, I think, in a way that had never been done before with millions of lines of data,” Riggleman said. “And to actually create a graph that shows how these groups actually intermingled.”

Among those groups, Riggleman explained, were “Trump team, Trump family, rally goers, unaffiliated DOJ-charged defendants, Proud Boys and Oath Keepers, and others, which are state legislators, alternate electors, things like that.”

The House Select Committee resumes its hearings on September 28.

Legal Expert: Grand Jury Subpoena For Stephen Miller Should Have Him Very Worried

Former Trump administration adviser Stephen Miller was informed via subpoena this week that a grand jury investigating the ex-president’s Save America PAC wants him to testify under oath, and that could be big trouble for Miller, according to a former federal prosecutor.

Glenn Kirschner was asked for his thoughts on the grand jury subpoena for Miller during an appearance on MSNBC Sunday and said Miller will have two choices when he testifies: Flip on Trump of perjure himself.

“I think one thing we should pay attention to is the difference between a January 6th congressional subpoena, and there have been, I think, more than 1000 witnesses at last count interviewed by the January 6th Congressional committee. The difference is between that kind of a subpoena and a federal grand jury subpoena, which is what now Stephen Miller has had placed in his hands.”

Kirschner then explained what he meant:

“Because you can play some games trying to avoid a congressional subpoena and Congress does not have the same tools to enforce its subpoenas and compel testimony,. But I’ll I tell you what: the Department of justice does.”

“Things have just gotten real for Stephen Miller and anybody else who has a federal grand jury subpoena. I have to believe at the end of the day he will testify truthfully and if not he’ll be looking at a perjury charge in contempt or obstruction of justice charge.”

And what if Miller does tell what he knows?

“If he testifies truthfully about what Donald Trump has done, that could spell additional trouble for Trump.”

Donald Trump Jared Kushner The Trump Adminstration

Jared Kushner Is Asked If He’d ‘Work For Trump Again’ – His Response Is Incredibly Revealing

You’ve probably heard or read that former Trump administration senior adviser Jared Kushner (a.k.a) Mr. Ivanka Trump has a “memoir” out about all of the great things (ha!) he accomplished while serving in the White House.

In order to sell more copies of his book, Jared showed up on Fox News for an interview with Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino and was posed this question:

“Would you work for Trump again?”

If you think you’ve heard non-responsive replies before, you ain’t heard nothing until you get a load of the word salad that came from Jared:

“Working for him was an honor. I write in the book about how it was a different experience. I’m very proud of the things I got done. It is a big toll, working in Washington…I don’t want people who are from the private sector to be scared to go to Washington. I think that that’s what our founders wanted. They wanted people to leave their farm, go and serve, then go back to their farm. It takes a big toll, but you can get a lot of things done…”

What?! Even Bill Hemmer couldn’t resist reminding Kushner:

“That is not an answer.”

And that led to even more bullshit from Jared, who opined on the matter with this:

“We need not the career political class who have been doing it for 30 years. We need people with different perspectives, outsider approaches, people with real life business experience coming to Washington. That’s what President Trump did. He brought a lot of people like him, but now he’s got a lot of very qualified people with him who I think could help him do things in ways he didn’t have in the beginning of his first term. So for me right now, I’m enjoying my life in the private sector and loving the time with my kids.”

Even Perino seemed tired of the back-and-forth at that point, remarking:

“I’m taking it as a no.”

About the only work Jared, Ivanka, or any of the other Trump family members will likely be for the old man in the future is making sure he has some money in his commissary account so he can buy Little Debbies and ramen soup kits at whatever federal prison he’s shipped to.
