Pete Buttigieg Hilariously Trolls Marjorie Taylor Greene For Her Ignorance About Electric Cars

Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg masterfully trolled the perpetually clueless Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) for comments she made recently about electric vehicles.

During an appearance on Fox News, Buttigieg was asked by host Neil Cavuto about a quote from Greene:

“Mr. Buttigieg is trying to emasculate the way we drive” by encouraging Americans to drive electric vehicles.
“What did you think of her wording?”

Buttigieg responded:

“I literally don’t understand what that means.
“I mean, my sense of manhood is not connected whether my vehicle is fueled by gasoline or whether it’s fueled by electricity.”

Cavuto then inquired if Buttigieg was “offended” by what Greene had said, adding:

“Because even people who share her politics didn’t share that view.”

That’s when the Transportation Secretary masterfully (and hilariously) trolled Greene by noting:

“It was a strange thing to say. To be honest, there are other members of Congress that I pay more attention to when I’m thinking about opinions that really matter.”

Greene is probably trying to distract from the news that her husband, Perry, has filed for divorce. And while Perry had originally asked for the proceedings to be sealed, he has now changed his mind, which could be a major problem for the congresswoman as the divorce will now be a matter of public record.

Greene has a sordid history, including allegations that she cheated on her husband more than once.

Controversial conspiracy congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene cheated on her husband with a polyamorous tantric sex guru, DailyMail.com has learned.

Then after ending her affair with him, the mom-of-three moved on to a gym manager behind her husband’s back.

But despite the tawdry flings, Taylor Greene stuck with her husband Perry as she made her unlikely rise that has turned her into the most talked-about Republican in Washington, D.C.

As if that’s not bad enough, Margie is also clueless about electric cars, along with at least 10 million other topics.

Congress GOP The Biden Administration Viral Video

WATCH Pete Buttigieg Destroy A GOPer Who Mentions Using The 25th Amendment On Biden

Congressional Republicans are getting desperate as they see their once massive lead over Democrats in the upcoming midterm elections dissipate, with some polls showing the GOP now trailing, so they’re trying to trash President Joe Biden in an attempt to divert attention from their own incompetence and the disturbing revelations coming from the House Select Committee investigating January 6, 2021.

That desperation was on full display today during a hearing of the House Transportation Committee and it came in the person of Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX), who didn’t ask a single question about transportation or infrastructure, and instead asked Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg about the cabinet using the 25th Amendment to remove President Biden from office.

Nehls began his idiotic soliloquy with this:

“Sadly, he shakes hands with ghosts and imaginary people. He falls off bicycles. Even at the White House Easter celebration, the Easter Bunny had to guide him back into his safe place. This is, if he stays awake.

“So my question for you is, sir, have you spoken with any other cabinet members about implementing the 25th Amendment on President Biden?”

That’s when Buttigieg took out a can of whoop-ass and opened it up on the Texas Republican, expertly destroying him:

“First of all, I’m glad to have a president who can ride a bicycle.

“And I will look beyond the insulting nature of that question and make clear to you that the president of the United States…”

Knowing he was losing the debate, Nehls could only interrupt Buttigieg and repeat his question:

“Have you spoken to any cabinet members about implementing the 25th Amendment on President Biden?”

Buttigieg told Nehls:

“Of course not.

The president of the United States is as vigorous a colleague or boss as I “have ever had the pleasure of working with.”

Nehls is doing a piss poor job of trying to obfuscate and make everyone forget the insane things failed, one-term former president Donald Trump did that almost led to his cabinet using the 25th to boot him from office, as Yahoo News reported last month:

“Former President Donald Trump’s staff warned him that his actions on Jan. 6, 2021, could amount to criminal behavior. They unsuccessfully pleaded with him to call off rioters ransacking the Capitol who were threatening former Vice President Mike Pence. And after the riot had been put down and one of the most chaotic days in U.S. history was over, a former aide testified Tuesday, they told him his cabinet members were discussing invoking the 25th Amendment to remove him from office.

“Cassidy Hutchinson, a former top aide to Trump’s former chief of staff Mark Meadows and a veritable fly on the wall throughout the events and meetings that led to the insurrection at the Capitol, testified at length Tuesday that Trump was often irate and lashed out at staff as he attempted to hold on to power after he lost the 2020 election. His behavior, she said, had led Cabinet members to consider a remedy allowed by the U.S. Constitution.”

Twitter loved Buttigieg’s verbal evisceration of the Texas congressman:

Buttigieg Calls Out ‘Hateful’ Right-Wingers Spreading ‘Replacement Theory’ That Spawned Buffalo Shooting

Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg made it clear Sunday that the Biden administration does indeed see the mass shooting that took place in Buffalo on Saturday as a hate crime and that some right-wingers have helped spread the sort of hatred that allegedly led Payton Gendron to shoot and kill 10 people, most of them black.

Buttigieg was a guest on “Face the Nation,” and was asked by host Margaret Brennan if there needs to be a new law that would make domestic terrorism a crime. The secretary replied:

“This would be a good day for every politician in this country — left, right and center — every media figure in this country — left, right and center — to come out and unequivocally condemn white nationalism, so-called ‘replacement theory’ and any other hateful ideology that could have contributed to something like this.”

“Replacement theory” asserts that white Americans are being replaced by immigrants and minorities as some sort of master plan by Democrats to create a permanent hold on government. Among the most vocal proponents of this bogus theory are Fox News hosts Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham.

Under the guise of the First Amendment, many on the right have been saying for years that there’s a massive conspiracy afoot to take political power away from whites in the United States. But that change has been taking place for decades as demographic changes happen and many whites have fewer children. It’s not a conspiracy, however. Despite what loons such as Tucker Carlson or his ilk say, the world is not out to get them.

Here’s a thought: If Carlson and others who push replacement theory are so worried, why don’t they start having bigger families? Carlson has four children, but maybe he and his wife should have several more.

Or perhaps Carlson and others on the right need to sit down and stop spreading dangerous lies that inspire people to kill others.

Tucker Carlson Gets Crushed Online After He Mocks ‘Breastfeeding’ Buttigieg For Taking Paternity Leave

You probably recall that back in July, while he was on vacation in Montana, Fox News host Tucker Carlson was approached by a man named Dan Bailey who told him to his face:

“You are the worst human being known to mankind. I want you to know that.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bzGGzkCpI0

And now, yet again, Carlson has proved that he is indeed the worst human being known to mankind for comments he made about Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg taking family leave since he and his husband, Chasten, recently adopted twins.

On his show Thursday evening, Carlson not only chided Buttigieg for taking leave (which he’s entitled to under the law), but he also decided he’d toss in a line about how he wondered if “breastfeeding” had worked out.

What in the hell is that all about? Is Carlson just trying to let his audience know he hates Buttigieg because he’s gay, or is he suggesting that two men shouldn’t be allowed to adopt?

Whatever Carlson’s point was, his comments were met with anger and disdain on Twitter:

UPDATE: Secretary Buttigieg responded to Carlson during an appearance on “Deadline: White House, remarking:

“I don’t think that even speaks for most people, on the other side of the aisle from the party that I belong to. This is largely a consensus issue, not just the support for families like mine to have a right to marry and right to be treated equally, but also that families in general. Moms and dads have to be able to support their children including with paid leave.”
