In honor of Mother’s Day, indicted, twice-impeached sex offender Donald Trump went on an angry social media rant which he posted on his failing Truth Social site, suggesting that he wanted to wish a happy day to the mothers of “Radical Left Fascists, Marxists, and Communists.”
However, he failed to mention his current wife, Melania, who is also the mother of his youngest son, Barron.
“Happy Mother’s Day to ALL, in particular the Mothers, Wives and Lovers of the Radical Left Fascists, Marxists, and Communists who are doing everything within their power to destroy and obliterate our once great Country. Please make these complete Lunatics and Maniacs Kinder, Gentler, Softer and, most importantly, Smarter, so that we can, quickly, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”
As usual, Donald made the entire thing about himself. He’s a malignant narcissist, so he cannot comprehend the idea of being kind to others or showing compassion to anyone but himself.
This year’s Mother’s Day message from the disgraced ex-president is more of the same from him.
According to House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY), his fact-free investigation of President Joe Biden and the Biden family’s “corruption” was going great until the key witness suddenly disappeared.
During an appearance on “Sunday Morning Futures” with Fox host Maria Bartiromo, Comer was asked, “”You have spoken with whistleblowers,” she noted. “You also spoke with an informant who gave you all of this information. Where is that informant today? Where are these whistleblowers?”
Comer: “Well, unfortunately, we can’t track down the informant. We’re hopeful that the informant is still there. The whistleblower knows the informant. The whistleblower is very credible.”
Comer then added, “The nine of the ten people that we’ve identified that have very good knowledge with respect to the Bidens, they’re one of three things, Maria, they’re either currently in court, they’re currently in jail, or they’re currently missing.”
Translation: Comer has no witnesses or informants. He made the entire thing up as a way to slag the president in retribution for a real criminal, Donald Trump, being impeached twice and under indictment in Manhattan.
The GOP strategy for attacking the Biden family is simple: They make a lot of noise, throw out a bunch of allegations, and then yell “Squirrel!!” when anyone asks for specifics.
The Texas Senate has given the power to overturn elections in the state to one man, Republican Gov. Greg Abbott.
The bill which passed is aimed specifically at Harris County, which is home to the state’s most populous city, Houston, which is majority Hispanic and black.
HuffPost reports the move is unprecedented, even in state like Texas.
The legislation penalizes county officials for running out of ballot paper at some voting sites in the 2022 election, the Houston Chronicle reported. Still, more importantly, it gives Republican Gov. Greg Abbott “precedent-setting” power to undo election results.
The measure would give Abbott’s appointed secretary of state the authority to hold a new election in the county if it runs out of paper at 2% or more of its polling sites for more than an hour, the newspaper noted.
Harris County, it should be noted, votes largely Democratic, and voted 56% for Joe Biden in 2020. Both Abbott and Sen. Ted Cruz (R) also lost Harris County when they ran for reelection.
Sen. Royce West (D-Dallas) noted, “You want to vest in a political appointee the ability to make a decision as to whether or not an election should be overturned and reheld?”
And Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee said the bill was “about targeting the largest county in the state, which is led by people of color.”
The bill now goes to the Texas House, where it’s likely to pass, meaning that one man would have the right to tell voters in the state’s largest county that their ballots are not going to be counted.
Though the Trump Tower in New York is probably much more well-known than any other property that carries the name of the indicted and twice-impeached former president/sex offender, all of the attention this week has been on Trump Towers located at Sunny Isles Beach in Florida.
On Thursday, according toThe Miami Herald, FBI agents raided Trump Tower III in Florida, which just so happens to be owned by two Russians.
A squad of FBI special agents, assisted by local police, descended on Trump Tower III at 15811 Collins Ave. to carry out a search of unit 4102. It’s owned by a shell company, MIC-USA LLC, that is controlled by two Russian businessmen, Oleg Sergeyevich Patsulya and Agunda Konstantinovna Makeeva, according to state corporation records.
On Friday, a spokesman for the FBI’s Miami field office said it “was conducting court-ordered law enforcement activity in the vicinity of that location,” but provided no other information.
Sunny Isles Beach has been called “Little Moscow” because it serves as a home to a large number of Russian expatriates, some of whom expressed worries when Russia invaded Ukraine last year. In response, the U.S. government began cracking down with sanctions against oligarchs who are believed to hide their wealth by purchasing real estate in South Florida and other U.S. locations.
Trump agreed to have his name placed on the three Sunny Isles Beach condos before he became president in 2016. It was believed doing so would help promote sales of the units.
The Heraldalso reports that “MIC-USA … acquired the three-bedroom, three-bath condo residence at Trump Tower III for $1.65 million a decade ago, according to Miami-Dade property records.
In 2020, BAC Florida Bank, which provided financing for the purchase, sued Patsulya and Makeeva, claiming they defaulted on their $975,000 mortgage. The dispute was resolved later that year, though it’s not clear how from the court records. MIC-USA, controlled by the two Russians, continued to own the 41st-floor unit at Trump Tower III.
Though he has denied any connections to Russia, the former president’s son, Eric, said in 2014 that the Trump Organization got significant funding from Russian sources, according to The Hill:
”I said, ‘Eric, who’s funding? I know no banks — because of the recession, the Great Recession — have touched a golf course. You know, no one’s funding any kind of golf construction. It’s dead in the water the last four or five years,’” the writers told WBUR.
“And this is what he said. He said, ‘Well, we don’t rely on American banks. We have all the funding we need out of Russia.’ I said, ‘Really?’ And he said, ‘Oh, yeah. We’ve got some guys that really, really love golf, and they’re really invested in our programs. We just go there all the time.’”
Indicted sex offender/former president Donald Trump was told Thursday by a Manhattan judge that he will have to appear via video on May 23 for a hearing in which he will be instructed on the penalties he’ll face if he uses evidence in his criminal fraud case to attack witnesses who are cooperating with District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
The Associated Press reports, “Judge Juan Manuel Merchan scheduled the hybrid hearing — the former president on a TV screen, his lawyers and prosecutors in court — to go over the restrictions with Trump and to make clear that he risks being held in contempt if he violates them.”
On Monday, Marchan issued a protective order in which he encouraged prosecutors from the Manhattan district attorney’s and Trump’s lawyers to compromise on accessing and using evidence that has been gathered by DA Bragg’s office. The process is known as “discovery” and is intended to guarantee that defendants receive a fair trial.
The video hearing later this month is deemed necessary by prosecutors who cited the disgraced ex-president’s habit of making “harassing, embarrassing, and threatening statements” against people who are pursuing legal remedies against him and his business, the Trump Organization.
The AP also notes, “Merchan added Trump’s virtual hearing to the court calendar a day after Trump appeared on a CNN forum and offered up a barrage of falsehoods, excuses and insults on a variety of topics, including what he deemed the ‘fake charge’ of his criminal case.”

Merchan’s protective order bars Trump and his lawyers from disseminating evidence to third parties or posting it to social media, and it requires that certain, sensitive material shared by prosecutors be kept only by Trump’s lawyers, not Trump himself. Trump can review that material with his lawyers, but can’t copy or photograph it, the order said.
Trump is facing 34 counts of allegedly falsifying business records in order to hide hush money payments he made to adult film star Stormy Daniels, with whom he had an extramarital affair.
