Trump May Face Another Lawsuit From E. Jean Carroll For Comments At CNN Town Hall

Indicted sex offender and former president Donald Trump is facing yet another massive lawsuit as a result of remarks he made Wednesday evening during a CNN town hall.

Asked about the unanimous verdict from a New York jury that determined Trump had indeed sexually assaulted and defamed writer E. Jean Carroll, the disgraced ex-president said the accusation of rape made by Carroll was “fake” and a “made-up story.”

Asked about Trump’s comments at the town hall, Carroll remarked, “It’s just stupid, it’s just disgusting, vile, foul, it wounds people,” according to The New York Times.

“I am upset on the behalf of young men in America,” Carroll added. “They cannot listen to this balderdash and this old-timey view of women, which is a cave-man view.”

Will Carroll file another lawsuit against the failed one-term, twice-impeached former president? She says she’s considering doing exactly that and is in consultation with her attorneys.

On Tuesday, Trump was ordered to pay $5 million for abusing and defaming Carroll after she accused him of raping her in the dressing room of a New York department store during the 1990s. Trump didn’t testify, and the jury heard comments he made in the past about grabbing women “by the pussy” as well as testimony from other victims who allege the ex-president sexually assaulted them.

During the Wednesday evening town hall, Trump also spewed lies and vitriol about the 2020 election which he continues to insist was stolen from him, though he has yet to presented one iota of evidence to support his allegations.

Trump is also facing serious legal issues in Georgia and from Special Counsel Jack Smith.
