Kyle Rittenhouse Has Launched A Video Game Where Players Can Kill ‘Fake News Turkeys’

In his ongoing effort to try and make a buck off the fact that he shot and killed two people in Kenosha, Wisconsin back in 2020, Kyle Rittenhouse has just launched a video game in which players can shoot and kill what he calls “fake news turkeys.”

The New York Post reports:

Kyle Rittenhouse announced the release of a new video game Thursday in which you can shoot “fake news turkeys” — and proceeds will go to his ongoing effort to sue media outlets for defamation.

Rittenhouse, who was acquitted last year after fatally shooting two men and injuring a third during a 2020 protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, said on Twitter that the game is part of his effort to “fight back against fake news.”

“The media is nothing but a bunch of turkeys with nothing better to do than push their lying agenda and destroy innocent people’s lives,” he said in a promotional video for the game, which he is selling on his website for $9.99.

In case you’re wondering who would choose to go into business with a figure as controversial as Rittenhouse, the game was created with the help of Mint Studios, whose CEO told the Washington Examiner:

“We had to step in to help Kyle after we saw what was done to him.”

What was done to him? He’s still alive, which is more than you can say for Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber, the two men Rittenhouse shot and killed. He later claimed self-defense and was acquitted by a jury on charges of homicide, attempted homicide, and reckless endangerment

Rittenhouse recently claimed he would be attending Texas A&M University, but the school said that was untrue.

Kyle Rittenhouse Claims He’s Now Attending Texas A&M – The University Says He’s Lying

According to acquitted Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse, he’s now a student at Texas A&M University.

Rittenhouse made that claim during an appearance on a broadcast of “The Charlie Kirk Show,” telling the host:

“I’m going to be going there. It’s going to be awesome. Beautiful campus, amazing people, amazing food.”

“It’s going to be an amazing experience where I can go and finally get an education. Over the past six months, I’ve been out having fun, living my life being a free man. Now it’s time to go and get an education, get good grades, and be successful in life.”

Just one problem: Texas A&M says Rittenhouse is lying and isn’t enrolled for either the summer or fall, NBC News reports:

“He has not been admitted as a student this summer or fall,” university spokesperson Kelly Brown told The Dallas Morning News. NBC News has reached out to the university for comment.

This isn’t the first time Rittenhouse has been involved in a controversy surrounding his higher education goals, Mediaite notes:

Rittenhouse previously took online classes as a non-degree student at Arizona State University and told reporters he wanted to study on campus after the trial.

Several ASU students protested following the verdict, and a Change.org petition called “Kyle Rittenhouse Should Not Be Allowed To Attend ASU” garnered more than 17,000 signatures (though some likely came from individuals unaffiliated with the university).

“Our records show that he is not currently enrolled,” ASU spokesperson Jay Thorne wrote in an email to the Arizona Republic late last November. “There was no action taken by the university.”

Sounds like Kyle has the same problem as the man who has gladly embraced him and even posed for a photo: Failed, one-term former President Donald Trump, who is also fond of lying more often than he breathes.

On August 5, 2020, Rittenhouse traveled from his home in Illinois to Kenosha (complete with an assault rifle) and fatally shot Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26. He later claimed he had done so to protect property in the city from being destroyed.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Says School Shooting Victims Are To Blame For Not Carrying Weapons

According to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) students who are the victims of mass shootings have no one to blame but themselves because they weren’t armed so they could shoot back.

Greene’s comments came in a series of responses to David Hogg, a survivor of the 2018 mass shooting that took place at Stoneman Douglas High School.

Hogg asked:

“Please explain to me how my classmates’ rights including the second amendment were not infringed upon when they were killed in their classrooms. If you are killed because of our unregulated militia you lose all of your rights including 2A- death is the ultimate infringement.”

That led Greene to go on an extended Twitter rant that raised more questions than it answered and also included plenty of false equivalencies and outright lies, with the Georgia Republican seeming to suggest that all students should be armed.

“When a student brought guns to my school to kill other students he was mad at, unlike you, my reaction was why is he the only one with guns and why is there no one with guns to defend us? Your reaction was joining a women’s anti-gun lobby funded by billionaire Bloomberg.”

“Tragically because of senseless gun free zone laws, many people have been killed by bad guys with guns who are willingly breaking many laws to commit murder and they don’t care about gun free zones, while law abiding innocent people are unable to defend themselves with guns,” Greene said. “Just be clear, if a bad guy is trying to kill me or my family, I will gladly use my 2A rights to defend myself and others with whatever gun I choose and with as many and as much ammunition I choose to fire.”

Apparently, Congresswoman Greene is advocating for every American to be armed with a weapon, but has zero evidence that such a policy would actually reduce gun violence. As is so common with those on the right, they have no practical solutions, just lots of empty rhetoric.

What Greene neglected to mention is that all rights have limits. The First Amendment doesn’t allow you to shout “fire!” in a crowded theatre. And you aren’t allowed to own a fully automatic machine gun the way you could in the 20s and 30s.

Of course, Ms. Greene doesn’t have time for actually trying to understand the Bill of Rights. She’s too busy trying to figure out how she can immediately arm every first grader in the United States.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Suggests It May Be Necessary To Use The ‘Second Amendment’ On Democrats

Not content to have allegedly been a part of the January 6 Capitol insurrection, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is now suggesting that it may be time to use guns on her Democratic opponents.

Greene was speaking to disgraced former Trump administration aide Sebastian Gorka as part of his pathetic excuse of a radio show which appears on the right-wing Salem Network when she brought up the subject of Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, who Greene claims is wrong on the issues of gun rights and the COVID vaccine:

“Ultimately the truth is it’s our Second Amendment rights, our right to bear arms, that protects Americans and give us the ability to defend ourselves from a tyrannical government. And I hate to use this language but Democrats, they’re exactly — they’re doing exactly what our Founders talked about when they gave us the precious rights that we have.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aljcZjKIg4&feature=emb_logo

She hates to use this language? No she doesn’t! She’s happy to use threats and fear to rile up her extremist base of supporters who are still convinced that Donald Trump won the 2020 election and is second only to Jesus in their bigoted brains.

Of course, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that Greene would be spouting such dangerous rhetoric. After all, she’s been doing it since she first announced her candidacy.

According to CNN, Greene has a history of calling for violence against anyone who disagrees with her:

In one post, from January 2019, Greene liked a comment that said “a bullet to the head would be quicker” to remove House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. In other posts, Greene liked comments about executing FBI agents who, in her eyes, were part of the “deep state” working against Trump.

Oh, and then there was this, also aimed at Pelosi:

“She’s a traitor to our country, she’s guilty of treason,” Greene says in the video, which she posted on Facebook at the time. “She took an oath to protect American citizens and uphold our laws. And she gives aid and comfort to our enemies who illegally invade our land. That’s what treason is. And by our law representatives and senators can be kicked out and no longer serve in our government. And it’s, uh, it’s a crime punishable by death is what treason is. Nancy Pelosi is guilty of treason.”

Maybe the voters in Greene’s district will do us all a favor and un-elect her in November. In the meantime, she needs to be under investigation by the Justice Department for a number of crimes, including issuing terroristic threats and giving aid and comfort to traitors who tried to overthrow the U.S. government.

Rittenhouse Has To Withdraw From College Classes After Students Demand His Dismissal

Even though he was found not guilty by a jury in Wisconsin, Kyle Rittenhouse is learning that his actions will continue to have repercussions for the rest of his life.

Rittenhouse was enrolled in nursing classes at Arizona State University. That information came out during his trial, according to The Sacramento Bee:

He testified at his recent trial that he was enrolled as an online student at ASU, where he was studying nursing, The Arizona Republic reported.

However, the university clarified that Rittenhouse is not enrolled in the nursing program and is actually a non-degree-seeking student, a status that allows students to take classes for “transfer credit, personal growth or as prerequisites for a desired program,” according to the university’s independent student news organization, The State Press.

But students at ASU weren’t exactly ready to welcome Rittenhouse into their ranks, even as an online enrollee:

Kyle Rittenhouse is no longer enrolled in classes at Arizona State University, a university spokesperson told McClatchy News.

Student groups upset that he was enrolled at one point say they still plan to push school officials to denounce white supremacy, Students for Socialism at ASU said in a Tweet.

Rittenhouse is still facing the possibility of federal charges being filed against him, and the families of the people he killed are also considering filing civil lawsuits against him that could leave him and his family penniless, according to NBC News:

If Rittenhouse were taken to civil trial for wrongful death, the teen could claim self-defense, as he did during the criminal case. He has said that he went to Kenosha to protect property from rioters but that he came under attack and feared for his life when he shot three people, two of them fatally.

But the burden of proof civil plaintiffs need to make, by a preponderance of evidence rather than beyond a reasonable doubt, is much lower than what Kenosha prosecutors faced during the criminal trial, legal experts say.

Rory Little, a professor at the University of California Hastings College of Law, noted:

“In a civil case you just have to prove negligence. Did his conduct fall below the standard of care that the average person would have?

“(Rittenhouse) could say, ‘I didn’t have the intent to kill anyone — I just panicked.’ The jury could still say, ‘We didn’t think the average person would do what you did.’ If your conduct is judged to be less than that, you lose.”

Kyle is already losing. And it appears that streak will continue.
