Lindsey Graham Does 35 Push-Ups To Support Herschel Walker – And It’s Even Worse Than You Can Imagine

In an effort to get Georgia Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker elected in next months runoff election, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) made an appearance on Sean Hannity’s show Wednesday evening and agreed to do push-ups to prove his support for Walker.

Queerty ran across the video of Graham working out on Walker’s YouTube account and reports:

The challenge came about after Sean Hannity spoke to Walker and Graham on a Fox News segment. He said that Walker impressed him previously with his ability to do push-ups. Hannity suggested Walker check out whether Graham was up to the challenge of doing some himself.

This led to a campaign video in which Graham challenges viewers to donate $34 if he and Walker can each do 34 push-ups. It’s unclear why they plumped for the number 34.

In the video, Graham happily gets down and does 35 push-ups, followed by Walker.

Before you watch the video, you might want to make sure your children and elderly relatives are out of the room. It could well be too much for impressionable youngsters and lead to cardiac arrest for anyone over the age of 60 once they start laughing and can’t quit.

Graham was also present when Walker was being interviewed and the candidate proudly proclaimed that “This erection is about the people.”

Erection election in a pumped up direction. Since Walker is too clueless to explain policy, the push-ups tell all you need to know about the “substance” of his campaign.

MSNBC Guest Mocks Lindsey Graham For His Abortion Ban: ‘He’s Never Seen A Naked Woman!’

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has been heavily criticized for suggesting a federal ban on abortion after 15 weeks, and his proposal could wind up costing Republicans a chance at retaking control of Congress in the upcoming midterm elections.

Just this week, President Joe Biden weighed in on Graham’s legislation, telling attendees to a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in New York:

“Think about what these guys are talking about. No exceptions — rape, incest — no exceptions, regardless of age. I happen to be a practicing Roman Catholic. My church doesn’t even make that argument now.”

Graham’s abortion ban was also the topic of discussion on MSNBC, Mediaite reports, with host Stephanie Ruhle leading a discussion of the topic:

Ruhle said Graham is “more than doubling down” with the legislation, and said to the panel “I want you to first help me understand, why would he even be doing this?”

“Why do this? Republicans don’t even support it across the board. He’s dividing Republicans. It’s not like you can get white evangelical voters to vote for you twice,” said Ruhle. “And now they’re knocking out a ton of other potential new voters.”

Comedian and podcaster Judy Gold then joined the debate, noting:

“And, the fact that he is telling women what to do with their bodies. Go for it.

“He’s never seen a vagina! He’s never seen a naked woman! And he is telling me?”

Clearly, Gold was insinuating that Graham is gay, which has long been suspected about the South Carolina senator, who is 67 and has never been married.

Ron Insana of CNBC agreed with Gold, to an extent:

“If I could flip that, though, as a married man who’s got a wife and two daughters. I don’t want somebody who’s not married, without a family, dictating my family policy.”

Why is it that old white men think they have a right to tell women what they can and can’t do with their bodies? Whether Graham is gay or not is immaterial to the larger issue: How can any man legislate what a women does with her body when there’s isn’t a man on the planet who can identify with what making such a decision involves.

Sen. Graham and the rest of the GOP need to sit down, shut up, and quit trying to rule other people’s lives.

WATCH: Lindsey Graham Pitches A Hissy Fit When A Fox Host Asks Him About His Abortion Ban

For years, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has said that the issue of abortion should be handled at the state level because it’s a matter of states’ rights, not the business of the federal government to set policy on such a personal matter.

And yet, on Tuesday Graham introduced legislation in the U.S. Senate that would ban all abortions beyond 15 weeks at the federal level.

Why the change of heart from the South Carolina Republican? That’s what Shannon Bream of Fox News asked Graham on Sunday, according to Mediaite:

“Graham’s stunt is a godsend and helps us remind voters Republicans want to ban abortion everywhere,” Bream said, quoting a source from Politico. Bream then brought up The American Spectator, a right-leaning outlet which just ran the headline “Lindsey Graham Hands Abortion Fans a Box of Hand Grenades.”

Graham replied:

“I’m pro-life, even in an election year.

“To those who suggest that being pro-life is losing politics, I reject that. Only in Washington is it extreme to protect a baby at 15 weeks from excruciating death…So I don’t apologize for being pro-life. I think the pro-life movement has found a position that most Americans will agree upon.”

Bream:

“You’ve got to explain the pivot.”

That’s when Graham pitched a full-blown hissy fit, going on an extended rant as he tried to defend his indefensible action which could wind up costing Republicans the midterm election:

“Number one if you know anything about me Shannon for 20 years I’ve been supporting federal legislation banning late-term abortions but you said there are states to make these decisions.  The states, here’s what Dobbs says elected officials can make the decision state or federal.  I’m not inconsistent in 2020. I had a bill on the floor of the United States Senate right across the Capitol that banned abortion at 20 weeks because the baby can feel pain. I had 51 republicans voting with me and two Democrats to suggest that I’m new to the game opposing late-term uh abortion is ridiculous.”

The senator continued, getting more animated as he spoke:

“No one’s excited. Listen I was the author of the unborn victims of violence act that made it a crime to hurt a baby if you attacked the mother you’d be charged with two crimes if you attack a mother and you hurt the baby it passed 72 votes in the United States Senate I never suggested there’s no place for the unborn in Washington, DC. if you tell the pro-life movement that we’re out of business in the nation’s Capitol that we can’t set some minimum national standard to prevent Chinese abortion policy in Maryland or California they’ll be a revolt by the pro-life community the people with me.”

Graham concluded:

“What am I saying I will not sit on the sidelines and watch this nation become China when it comes to boarding babies up to the moment of birth I reject that I will continue to introduce legislation at the national level setting a minimum standard. Okay at 15 weeks no abortion except for life rape uh save the life of the mother, rape, incest.”

Lindsey Graham Tries To Explain His ‘Riots In The Streets’ Comment And Makes Matters Worse

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has faced withering criticism since he made a comment last Sunday that if former president Donald Trump was indicted for mishandling classified documents, there would be “riots in the streets,” telling Fox News:

“I’ll say this, if there is a prosecution of Donald Trump for mishandling classified information after the Clinton debacle … there will be riots in the street.”

Today, Graham — who is on vacation in Italy — spoke with Steve Sedgwick of CNBC and attempted to explain his controversial remarks less than a week ago:

“What I tried to do was state the obvious.

“Here’s what I said, The raid on [former] President Trump’s home, the likely nominee for 2024, better bear some fruit here. If it’s just about mishandling classified information, we’ve had a standard set when it came to Hillary Clinton.”

The South Carolina Republican added:

“Our country, the people on our side, believe that when it comes to the justice system, there are no rules regarding Trump, [it’s a case of] ‘get him, it doesn’t matter how you get him,’ so I said that if it’s similar to what happened to Clinton and he gets prosecuted, it’ll be one of the most disruptive events in America.”

In other words, Graham is now offering a rationale for the threats he made. And he’s also providing cover for any nutjob who might think the judicial system is somehow tilted against Republicans, especially the failed ex-president, who has been under one form of investigation after another his entire life because he engages in questionable (and potentially illegal) behavior such as refusing to rent apartments to black people, stealing from a charity bearing his name, and allegedly cheating on his company’s taxes.

Here’s what Graham should have been asked: Do you ever get tired of having your nose buried in Trump’s fat posterior?

Lindsey Graham Ominously Predicts: If Trump Is Prosecuted, ‘There’ll Be Riots In The Streets’

It now appears that disgraced ex-president Donald Trump is in the deepest legal jeopardy of his life, ironically because of something he did that he tried to accuse Hillary Clinton of: Mishandling classified information.

Clinton, it should be noted, was not president, and she didn’t have access to the highest level of top-secret data that Trump had as president. Also, Clinton didn’t leave such information laying around in cardboard boxes at a resort where almost anyone could have had access to the documents.

And yet, despite those very different facts, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is warning that if Trump is indicted and prosecuted, there’s going to be rioting in the streets.

Sounds like a threat, doesn’t it?

Appearing on Fox News, Graham said:

“I’ll say this: If there’s a prosecution of Donald Trump for mishandling classified information, after the Clinton debacle … there’ll be riots in the streets.”

Graham got some well-deserved pushback on social media for his remarks:
