Matt Gaetz’s Bigoted Attack On Kendrick Lamar Comes Back To Bite Him Right On The A*s

In a country as deeply divided as the United States currently is, it should come as no surprise that reaction to Kendrick Lamar’s halftime performance at this year’s Super Bowl would be so even split between those who called it a brilliant commentary on the state of modern America and those who claimed it was unwatchable or impossible to understand.

The American commentary crowd had plenty of proof to back up their claims that Lamar was letting us all know that we can either move closer to each other or continue to deny the division that separates us and threatens to plunge the country into a second civil war.

“Lamar’s dancers hit the field in monochromatic red, white, and blue outfits. While some saw gang symbolism, others clocked the deeper meaning during ‘HUMBLE.’—when an all-Black group of male dancers formed the American flag with their bodies,” The Grio’s Haniyah Phiolgene notes. “Lamar stood at the center, visibly dividing them, fueling speculation that he was making a statement on the country’s current divisions. Before the moment played out, he told the audience, ‘The revolution is about to be televised. You picked the right time but the wrong guy.'”

Others thought there were jabs at Pervert-in-Chief Donald Trump, who was in attendance but reportedly left before seeing all of the halftime show.

“Donald Trump is forced to watch Samuel L Jackson, dressed as Uncle Sam, introduce Kendrick Lamar at the super bowl half time show after asking the NFL to not show the ‘End Racism’ In the End Zones is the Headline,” a Twitter user wrote.

Another wrote, “Samuel l jackson as uncle sam, the personification of america, telling kendrick his performance is ‘too ghetto’ and then it cutting to kendrick’s all-black backup dancers arranged as the american flag all while That Man [Trump] is in attendance? kendrick i was not familiar with your game.”

And then there was a truly moronic reaction from disgraced former Florida Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz, who seemed to think Lamar’s performance was a direct reaction to Trump’s win in the 2024 presidential election.

“The halftime show you just watched is clearly the regime’s response to Trump’s historic gains with black men,” Gaetz tweeted.

No, Matt. It wasn’t. The show was planned months before the election.

But perhaps the best thing that came out of Gaetz’s comment is that he was instantly reminded that he’d been suspected of paying underage girls to have sex with him, which ironically mirrors criticism rap star Drake has received, which made it’s way into Lamar’s song “Not Like Us.”

In the song, Lamar says, “Say, Drake, I hear you like ’em young” and “tryna strike a chord and it’s probably A minor.”

That was all it took to send social media into spasms of delight as they hit back at Gaetz.

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Latest Take On Climate Change Is Laced With Bigotry

During a town hall meeting in her North Georgia district on Tuesday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) seemed to suggest that the recent flooding from Hurricane Helene was due to “climate change,” and then seconds later added that migrants seeking refuge in the United States were being allowed into the country under the guise of escaping extreme weather events.

“As a matter of fact, if you all could sit and listen to every detail of our committee hearings,” Greene said. “You would hear them saying that it’s racist not to let these people in.”

“You would hear them saying that they’re coming because of climate change,” she added.

Minutes later, Greene remarked that Democrats should instead focus on climate change here at home.

“Really? Try talking to the people in western North Carolina. Try talking to the people in South and Central and Eastern Georgia. They were affected by the climate.”

A few minutes after that, Greene asked the sparse crowd in attendance who they thought was “really running the White House.”

“If you think it’s Obama, raise your hand,” she said.

Ironically, while Greene was busy trying to make political hay out of the storms that have devastated areas of the South, she wasn’t concerned enough to remain in her home state over the weekend and lend a hand to help victims of the storm. Instead, she was too busy attending a college football game in Alabama and having her photo taken with failed one-term former president Donald Trump, according to HuffPost.

Critics suggested Greene should have at that time been in Georgia assisting with the recovery effort. Some remembered fellow MAGA Republican Ted Cruz’s 2021 trip to Cancun, Mexico, amid a deadly winter storm.

Much like Trump, Margie Greene is only interested in self-promotion. Everyone and everything else is secondary to her ambition and greed.

Pete Buttigieg Shreds J.D. Vance For Using ‘Pro-Family’ Rhetoric To Cloak His Bigotry

Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttgieg slammed GOP vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance this morning during an appearance on CNN, making it clear that while Vance claims to be “pro-family,” his words suggest otherwise.

Asked about an interview CNN conducted with Vance in which the Ohio Republican accused Democrats of being anti-family, Buttigieg made it clear he has no use for the senator’s bogus pronouncements on the topic of what constitutes a family.

“Let’s be clear, we’re the ones trying to get the Child Tax Credit expanded and J.D. Vance couldn’t be bothered to show up in the Senate and vote for it and Republicans have blocked that from being expanded or it’d be the law of the land right now.”

“So if you want to talk about promoting children, promoting family, put your money where your mouth is,” Buttigieg added.

Buttigieg also told host Dana Bash, “Look, when you asked him and pressed him on whether my family was legitimate, he said yes because I think he felt shamed into it. But let’s remember also, the last time I checked, he doesn’t even think I should legally be able to have a family.”

“Now, if he really got his way in his anti-marriage equality views, I don’t know if that means that he would want me and my husband to be forcibly divorced and separated from our children or if he’d be satisfied just to have us lose legal protections like the ability to do our taxes together, visit them in a hospital,” he added. “I don’t know exactly what his vision of us not having a family looks like, but I know that it’s not pro-family for me.”

Make no mistake. Vance and his political godfather, Donald Trump, think they have the right to determine what constitutes a family. But their version of family is something from the 1950s and has no relevance at all in 2024.

Buttigieg is right. And Vance’s narrow-minded bigotry needs to be called out every time he opens his big mouth.

WATCH One Of Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Constituents Confront Her For Her Bigotry

Georgia Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene got an earful from one of her constituents at town hall she held in her district, and it all had to do with comments Greene made about Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY).

According to Radar Online, the black constituent asked Greene, “Do you know who Carolyn Donham is?”

When Greene admitted she didn’t, the woman continued.

“She was the woman who said that Emmett Till looked at her the wrong way, or said something to her, the way you did Jamaal Bowman,” she said. “You were on the steps of the Capitol talking about gun violence…”

The woman added, “I think you’re reckless. I think you’re reckless. You had no business saying, ‘Oh, he’s so big. Oh, I feel so, like, he’s gonna hurt me.’ It’s the same thing Carolyn Donham said that got Emmett Till killed, and that was reckless, and you did a reckless thing. And if anything happens to Jamaal Bowman, it’s going to be on your hands.”

Clearly taken aback by the woman’s comments, Greene finally responded.

“Let me ask you, were you in New York when he stood outside my car… and he brought a crowd around me? Were you there?” Greene asked. “No, you were not in New York City when that happened. It’s on video, it’s on video, and you may watch the video. And you can see how he cussed…That’s wrong. This isn’t about skin color. I refuse, I refuse for you to do that.”

After a few more seconds of back and forth, the majority of the audience stood and applauded Greene.

The video drew plenty of comments on Twitter.

Donald Trump Jr. Racism Social Media WTF?!

Twitter Reacts With Revulsion When Don Jr. Posts Meme About White Men Marrying Black Women

It remains a mystery why some white men are so threatened by strong, successful black women, but there are millions of them across this country (and globe) who seem to feel that if things are going well for women of color, it lessens men as human beings.

That, of course, is complete nonsense, and yet it’s still a major tenet of the so-called “MAGA movement” that was spawned by disgraced, one-term, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump. The ex-president has been a bigoted piece of crap his entire life, and he’s only gotten more racist as he’s grown older.

His son, Donald Trump Jr., however, is young enough to know better, yet he’s only too happy to traffic in racist tropes and suggest that white heterosexual men in the United States are somehow an endangered species.

For example, consider this utterly disgusting meme Junior posted on social media:

What is that about? Obviously, it’s meant to try and flip what has been said about the MAGA faithful (probably because it happens to be true), but it’s actually nothing more than a whiny demand to be recognized and appreciated by Don Jr., who has clearly never felt loved a day in his life, most certainly not by his father, who is a cold fish and malignant narcissist.

Consider for just a moment what has been said about such insecure white men as the former president and his namesake son:

From boasting about the size of his penis on national television to releasing records of his high testosterone levels, President Trump’s rhetoric and behavior exude machismo. His behavior also seems to have struck a chord with some male voters. See, for example, the “Donald Trump: Finally Someone With Balls” T-shirts common at Trump rallies.

But our research suggests that Trump is not necessarily attracting male supporters who are as confidently masculine as the president presents himself to be. Instead, Trump appears to appeal more to men who are secretly insecure about their manhood. We call this the “fragile masculinity hypothesis.”

Twitter users, however, were not willing to extend such a scientific take on the matter, and they destroyed Don Jr.
