The GOP’s BS Allegations Against Joe Biden Are Backfiring BIG TIME On Them

House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer (R-KY) has been hyping his “big reveal” for months now, promising that he had evidence President Joe Biden had accepted bribes from foreign governments when he was vice president in the Obama administration.

However, when Comer and other Republicans held a press conference recently, they made all sorts of allegations, but were unable to provide even a scintilla of evidence that proved Biden had done anything illegal.

CNN had this to say about Comer’s presser:

House Oversight Chairman James Comer laid out new details to support allegations that members of Joe Biden’s family including his son Hunter received millions of dollars in payments from foreign entities in China and Romania including when Biden was vice president, according to a memo obtained by CNN.

New bank records cited in the memo were obtained by the committee through a subpoena and include payments made to companies tied to Hunter Biden. Republicans also alleged that Hunter Biden used his familial connections to help facilitate a meeting in 2016 between a Serbian running for United Nations Secretary-General and then-national security adviser to the vice president Colin Kahl.

[…]

But the latest report does not show any payments made directly to Joe Biden, either as vice president or after leaving office.

Politico was even more emphatic:

The memo detailed payments to Biden family members and asserted that “it is not credible” that the president wasn’t aware of his family’s business efforts given the total size of the payments. It also did not show any way in which Biden’s decisions were influenced by those agreements or that he had direct knowledge of them.

And while Republicans have criticized the payments as questionable, they stopped short of calling any of the activity potentially illegal.

No connection to the president and no proof of any illegal actions by anyone. That’s about as big of a nothingburger as you’ll see in Washington, D.C.

White House assistant Ian Sams had the best take on the GOP dog and pony show: “Seriously? This was debunked literally 4 years ago.”

But perhaps the best takedown of Comer and his Republican clown allies came from Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), who is the ranking Democrat on the Oversight Committee.

“There’s a lot of innuendo and a lot of gossip taking place, Raskin noted, “and much of it is recycled from prior claims.”

James Comer has humiliated himself and House Republicans. They have no evidence of any wrongdoing by President Biden and are merely trying to distract from the fact that their likely 2024 presidential nominee was found guilty of being a sexual predator.

One Of Jim Jordan’s Anti-Biden ‘Whistleblowers’ May Have Lied Under Oath

If you’ve seen any of the hearings on the “weaponization” of the FBI that were led by House Judiciary Committee chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) you may have seen former field agent Garret O’Boyle (the guy who looks like a villain in a Batman movie) making all sorts of dubious claims about why he was supposedly “silenced” by the agency.

In reality, the reason O’Boyle was reprimanded for failing to do his job, especially as it applies to defendants charged with crimes allegedly committed on January 6, 2021.

During his testimony, The Guardian reports, O’Boyle was asked about funding he had received from a former Trump administration official.

At one point, O’Boyle was asked by Democrat Dan Goldman whether Kash Patel, who held multiple roles in the Trump administration, is helping finance O’Boyle’s legal counsel. The witness replied: “Not that I’m aware of.”

The answer has raised eyebrows because, during a previous interview with the House of Representatives’ weaponisation subcommittee in February, O’Boyle disclosed that his legal fees are being paid by a nonprofit organisation called Fight With Kash, also known as the Kash Foundation and run by Kash Patel.

In other words, it appears that O’Boyle may have lied under oath, and that could get him criminally charged.

Congressman Goldman said he has contacted Jordan and made it clear he believes O’Boyle may have lied to Congress.

“Mr O’Boyle’s answers in the subcommittee hearing on Thursday appear to contradict his previous testimony in the transcribed interview with subcommittee staff. In order to ensure witnesses are truthful when they come before the subcommittee, Chairman Jordan must determine whether or not Mr O’Boyle lied under oath on Thursday.”

Kyle Herrig, executive director of the Congressional Integrity Project, echoed Goldman, noting, “Mr O’Boyle’s testimony in this week’s hearing should be investigated immediately by Chairman Jordan’s subcommittee. The fact that O’Boyle’s own lawyer has such deep ties to Kash Patel, a January 6 co-conspirator and close ally of Donald Trump, is already enough to call any of his testimony into question.”

According to Russell Dye, a spokesperson for Jordan, there’s no reason for Democrats to be upset: “Yet again the Democrats distorted the facts in their report on our brave FBI whistleblowers. Jesse Binnall is representing Mr O’Boyle pro bono.”

Distorted the facts? Sounds like what Jordan has been doing since he began lying to cover his ass when it came to light he had failed to report sexual abuse at Ohio State University while he was a coach on the OSU wrestling team.

Donald Trump’s Latest Social Media Typo Reveals What A ‘Petty’ Person He Is

According to the Cambridge Dictionary, this is the definition of the word petty:

“Complaining too much about things that are not important.”

Do you know anyone like that? Someone who constantly whines and complains about trivial bullshit that doesn’t amount to a hill of beans, like why not everyone says “Merry Christmas” anymore?

If the name of disgraced, twice-impeached and multiply-indicted former president Donald Trump popped in your head, then his latest typographical error on social media will probably give you a good chuckle.

According to HuffPost, Trump was upset with his ongoing fraud trial in New York, so he lashed out on his failing Truth Social site.

The former president on Thursday used his Truth Social platform to accuse Judge Arthur Engoron, overseeing his civil fraud trial, of being a “radical left judge” after Engoron fined Trump $10,000 for violating a gag order that banned him from discussing his staff.

Trump also likened his former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen’s confession on the stand to lying to Congress and in court to an episode of the fictional law series “Perry Mason.”

Here’s what Trump posted:

Petty Mason? Wasn’t the fictional character named Perry Mason?

That was all it took to set off a wave of mockery and scorn directed squarely at Donnie.

Typo or Freudian slip? You decide.

Democrat DESTROYS Marjorie Taylor Greene With Fiery Speech Calling For Her Censure

On Thursday, shortly after Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) introduced a resolution to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) for attending a pro-Palestinian demonstration after the Hamas terror attacks on Israel, Vermont Democratic Congresswoman Becca Balint decided to give Greene a taste of her own medicine.

In a searing 11-minute speech on the House floor, Balint laid out why she was calling for Greene to be censured, saying the controversial Georgian had “repeatedly fanned the flames of racism, antisemitism, LGBTQ hate speech, Islamophobia, anti-Asian hate, xenophobia, and other forms of hatred.”

Here’s the full transcript of Balint’s speech, courtesy of Mediaite:

Whereas Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has repeatedly fanned the flames of racism, antisemitism, LGBTQ hate speech, Islamophobia, anti-Asian hate, xenophobia, and other forms of hatred;

Whereas Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has repeatedly debased the memories of thousands of victims of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, by perpetuating conspiracy theories to shift blame and responsibility for the mass murder;

Whereas Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has repeatedly assaulted the foundation of our democracy by perpetuating conspiracy theories related to the January 6 attack on the Capitol which sought to halt the peaceful transfer of power;

Whereas Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has repeatedly called for violence against elected representatives
and their families;

Whereas Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has repeatedly espoused antisemitic rhetoric and conspiracy theories, including through inflammatory evocations of the Holocaust;

Whereas, on May 20, 2021, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene said that the mask mandate in the House of Representatives was akin to Jews being ‘‘put in trains and taken to gas chambers in Nazi Germany’’;

Whereas, on May 25, 2021, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene tweeted that, ‘‘Vaccinated employees get a vaccination logo just like the Nazi’s forced Jewish people to wear a gold star’’;

Whereas, on February 26, 2022, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene appeared at a white nationalist event that was condemned by the Republican Jewish Coalition as ‘‘appalling and outrageous that a Member of Congress would share a platform with an individual who has actively spread antisemitic bile, mocked the Holocaust and promoted dangerous anti-Israel conspiracy theories’’;

[…]

Now, therefore, be it Resolved, That–

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene be censured;

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene forthwith present herself in the well of the House of Representatives for the pronouncement of censure;

and

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene be censured with the public reading of this resolution by the Speaker.

And here’s the video:

If anyone is deserving of being censured and even removed from Congress, it’s Marjorie Taylor Greene. She has repeatedly engaged in seditious behavior, lied, plotted to overturn the 2020 election, and even begged Donald Trump for a pardon. Only guilty people need pardons. And Margie is as guilty as they come.

Donald Trump GOP Justice Department The Trump Adminstration WTF?!

Evidence Suggests Some Congressional Republicans Could Still Be Charged For Jan. 6

While it’s been clear for some time now that former President Donald Trump was directly involved in fomenting the violence that took place on January 6 at the U.S. Capitol, reporting from The New York Times suggests that some Republicans in Congress also played a role in the efforts to subvert the 2020 election and keep power through a violent uprising.

Specifically, the Times reveals that notes taken by a top deputy to then-Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen point directly to a coordinated effort between Trump and members of Congress. Those notes, which were handwritten by deputy AG Richard Donoghue, report what Trump told Rosen:

“Just say that the election was corrupt + leave the rest to me and the R. Congressmen.”

That, many legal experts said, is a literal smoking gun, and it means that several Republicans in Congress are facing indictment for their role in what transpired on that fateful day.

Philip Bump of The Washington Post focused in on the notation from Donoghue:

“What Donoghue’s notes suggest is that Trump had fully bought into the effort that would eventually become his Alamo: having Republican legislators block the electoral-vote counting due to take place at the Capitol on Jan. 6.”

Failing to certify counting of the electoral votes would have resulted in a Constitutional crisis. The added chaos of a riot at the Capitol would have provided the perfect opportunity for Trump to declare a national emergency and refuse to hand over the reins of power to Joe Biden. It also would have provided an “excuse” for a coup d’etat. And it would have even had the blessing of a faction in Congress.

Once again, quoting Philip Bump:

“Some congressional Republicans clearly did their best to aid Trump’s effort. On the morning of Jan. 6, (Rep Mo) Brooks spoke before Trump at a rally outside the White House. It was time, he said, to ‘start taking down names and kicking ass.’ It’s not clear if any of those in attendance did the former, but some clearly did the latter.”

Brooks, along with Reps. Jim Jordan, Jim Banks, Lauren Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Kevin McCarthy (and perhaps others) may well find themselves charged with crimes by the Justice Department.
