Ted Cruz Tries To Troll MSNBC Hosts And Winds Up In The Middle Of An Embarrassing Self-Own

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (R) couldn’t resist firing off a cheap shot at two MSNBC hosts, but his attempt at trolling them resulted in the joke being at his own expense.

Appearing on Sean Hannity’s nightly hour of conspiracy theories, lies, and assorted bullshittery, Cruz suggested that when Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski made a visit to Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort after last month’s presidential election to mend fences hadn’t done so to kiss the Donald’s ring.

“I’m not even sure they were kissing the ring. I think they were kissing a little bit lower than that.”

While that may sound like a nasty burn, the fact that it’s coming from a sniveling sycophant like Cruz is beyond hypocritical, not to mention ironic to the nth degree.

After all, this the very same Ted Cruz who angrily whined when Trump made fun of his wife’s looks during the 2016 race for the White House, only to turn around and enthusiatically endorse him less than a month later when he wanted to remain politically viable in the Republican Party.

So instead of landing a blow on Scarborough and Brzezinski, all Teddy accomplished was humiliating himself so he could once again curry favor with a man who hates him. And that’s beyond pathetic, as social media users reminded Cruz.

Trump Jokes About Annexing Canada As ’51st State’ At Meeting With Trudeau

When he met with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at Mar-a-Lago late last week, Donald Trump reportedly threatened to make Canada the “51st state” if Trudeau continued to complain about trade tariffs Trump has threatened to impose as soon as he’s sworn on January 20 of next year.

The threat, according to Peter Doocy of Fox News, was made during a meal the two leaders shared.

“We are told that when Trudeau told President-elect Trump that new tariffs would kill the Canadian economy, Trump joked to him that if Canada can’t survive without ripping off the U.S. to the tune of $100 billion a year, then maybe Canada should become the 51st state and Trudeau could become its governor,” Doocy reported.

While Trump’s comments were probably a joke, it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that he would indeed annex parts of Canada if he could. He’d do it for their oil reserves if nothing else.

This isn’t the first Trump has insulted Trudeau.

In 2019, he commented, “Well, he’s two-faced. He’s a nice guy.”

“I find him to be a nice guy, but the truth is, I called him out on the fact that he’s not paying 2%, and I guess he’s not very happy about it.”

Fox Host Absurdly Claims ‘Donald Trump Would Have Pardoned Hunter Biden’

According to some of the on-air employees who work at the bullshit factory that has the nerve to call itself Fox “News,” there was no reason for President Joe Biden to pardon his son, Hunter, because President-elect Donald Trump would have gladly done the same when he takes office in January of next year.

During a discussion this morning of the full pardon issued by President Biden on Sunday evening, Fox host Lawerence Jones remarked, “You know, as I think the fear may have been misplaced, though, I think that the Democrats, including the president, Joe Biden, thought that Donald Trump would treat them like they treated him with political prosecution. I think they’re wrong. I think Donald Trump would have pardoned Hunter Biden.”

“I think we would have gotten some type of report about the corruption and what’s been happening in Department of Justice,” he continued. “I think he’s going to clean house when it comes to the FBI and Department of Justice, but I don’t think he would have went after Hunter Biden.”

Co-host Steve Doocy agreed that Trump “probably would have gone ahead and pardoned him.”

“The only difference is if Donald Trump would have pardoned Hunter Biden, you know, in 50-some-odd days, is it wouldn’t be for that 10 year period,” Doocy continued. “It would just be for those two things that he’s been convicted but not sentenced to a good point.”

What a load of shit! Donald Trump’s own reaction to the pardon of Hunter Biden directly undercut what Jones and Doocy claimed.

On social media, Trump wrote, “Does the Pardon given by Joe to Hunter include the J-6 Hostages, who have now been imprisoned for years? Such an abuse and miscarriage of Justice!”

As Steve Benen of MSNBC notes, “Trump’s list of scandalous pardon abuses is so long, it could be a lengthy book. The names should be familiar: Paul Manafort. Michael Flynn. Steve Bannon. Roger Stone. Seven different Republican members of Congress who were locked up for corruption crimes.”

“Trump saw presidential pardons as get-out-of-jail-free cards for his friends and associates, engaging in the kind of brazen corruption that would’ve defined his term were it not eclipsed by other breathtaking scandals.”

Donald Trump would have pardoned Hunter Biden? That’s not the least bit plausible. Trump only helps those who can help him. He’s a selfish bastard who, unlike Hunter Biden, deserves to spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Jasmine Crockett Has The Perfect Clapback For Republicans Whining About The Hunter Biden Pardon

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) masterfully slammed Republicans for their blatant hypocrisy regarding President Joe Biden’s pardon of his son, Hunter, which was announced Sunday evening by the White House.

Appearing on MSNBC shortly after news of the pardon broke, Crockett noted, “Because at the end of the day, we know that we have a 34-count convicted felon that is about to walk into the White House.”

Crockett also had a brilliant clapback aimed at “anyone who wants to clutch their pearls” over the president pardoning his son, who was convicted in June of illegally possessing a gun and also pleaded guilty in September for a tax offense.

“I would say take a look in the mirror because we also know that when it comes to this Cabinet, this Cabinet has more people accused of sexual assault than any incoming Cabinet probably ever in the history of America,” she added.

“So we are living in unprecedented times and we know that this was completely political, as someone who serves on the [House] oversight committee, this was gamesmanship the entire time.”
