‘Tacky’ Trump Trashed Online For Using Jill Biden Photo To Hawk His Fragrances

Proving yet again that he’s nothing more than a snake oil peddling grifter who would gladly steal a starving widow’s last penny, Donald Trump is once again attempting to make money off another of his shitty products, and this time he’s using a photo of him with First Lady Jill Biden to do so.

The photo, which Trump shared on social media, shows Mrs. Biden sitting next to the president-elect during a weekend ceremony marking the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France.

That led the disgraced former/future president to post, “Here are my new Trump Perfumes & Colognes! I call them Fight, Fight, Fight, because they represent us WINNING. Great Christmas gifts for the family.”

Kinda makes you wonder if that “assassination attempt” on Donnie earlier this year in Pennsylvania was a staged event meant to boost his poll numbers and give him yet another way to make a buck.

One thing’s certain: Responses to Trump’s cologne post were overwhelmingly negative.

Trump Says He’ll End Birthright Citizenship On ‘Day One’ – Even Though He Can’t

According to Donald Trump, he will immediately end birthright citizenship on “day one” of his administration, even though the U.S. Constitution specifically prohibits such a move.

During an interview with Kristen Welker of NBC News, Trump was asked, “You’ve promised to end birthright citizenship on day one. Is that still your plan?”

“Yeah, absolutely,” Trump replied.

“The 14th Amendment, though, says that, quote, all persons born in the United States are citizens,” Welker explained. “Can you get around the 14th Amendment with an executive action?”

“Well, we’re going to have to get a change,” Trump responded. “We’ll maybe have to go back to the people. But we have to end it.”

“Through an executive action?” Welker pressed.

“Well, if we can, through executive action. I was going to do it through executive action, but then we had to fix COVID first, to be honest with you. We have to end it.”

By way of explanation, birthright citizenship can indeed be found in the 14th Amendment, which reads:

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

That could not possibly be any clearer. And that’s the way it’s supposed to be. There are not two classes of U.S. citizens. If you’re born on U.S. soil, you’re an American, no matter who your parents are or where they’re from.

Of course, as anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of the Constitution knows, Trump cannot end birthright citizenship via executive order or any other presidential action. That would require an amendment, which would have to be ratified by two-thirds of the states.

It’s also doubtful that even the six right-wing justices on the U.S. Supreme Court would agree to take away the right to be an American by birth.

Trump and his advisers may be able to pull the wool over the eyes of their poorly educated minions, but most Americans are not about to sit idly by and let would-be dictator Donald shred the law without putting up a fight.

New Video Of Barron Trump With His Father Leads To An Interesting Reaction On Social Media

Though we’ve seen Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron, on several occasions with his father, he rarely speaks, which has led to speculation online regarding whether or not he’s afraid to speak or if he might have a speech impediment that could lead to embarrassment.

It turns out that Barron can speak, as he proved in a video making the rounds on social media.

The video clip comes from the documentary series, “Art of the Surge,” and it shows Barron greeting people.

“Hello, how are you? It’s very nice to see you. It’s very nice,” Barron, who’s a student at NYU, remarks.

Pete Hegseth Brutally Mocked After His ‘Mommy’ Makes Phone Calls To Senators On His Behalf

Though he attempts to present himself as an “alpha male,” Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth reportedly has his mother making phone calls to senators in a desperate attempt to save his fading chances of becoming the next Pentagon chief.

According to Mychael Schnell of The Hill, “Pete Hegseth told RSC [Republican Study Committee] members his mom has been making calls to senators on his behalf.”

Hegseth has been accused of abusing alcohol and allegedly raping a woman in 2017, both of which have some GOP senators suggesting that they may not be able to vote in favor of his confirmation. There are also whispers that the Trump team will soon demand that Hegseth withdraw his name from consideration.

Ironically, Hegseth’s mother, Penelope, suggested that her son was an “abuser of women” in 2018 as he was getting a divorce. She now claims he’s a “new person” who is “redeemed, forgiven, changed.”

The report that Hegseth’s mommy was trying to save his nomination led to a wave of mockery on social media, with one person noting, “Real men need their moms to call Senators for them.”

Trump Jokes About Annexing Canada As ’51st State’ At Meeting With Trudeau

When he met with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at Mar-a-Lago late last week, Donald Trump reportedly threatened to make Canada the “51st state” if Trudeau continued to complain about trade tariffs Trump has threatened to impose as soon as he’s sworn on January 20 of next year.

The threat, according to Peter Doocy of Fox News, was made during a meal the two leaders shared.

“We are told that when Trudeau told President-elect Trump that new tariffs would kill the Canadian economy, Trump joked to him that if Canada can’t survive without ripping off the U.S. to the tune of $100 billion a year, then maybe Canada should become the 51st state and Trudeau could become its governor,” Doocy reported.

While Trump’s comments were probably a joke, it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that he would indeed annex parts of Canada if he could. He’d do it for their oil reserves if nothing else.

This isn’t the first Trump has insulted Trudeau.

In 2019, he commented, “Well, he’s two-faced. He’s a nice guy.”

“I find him to be a nice guy, but the truth is, I called him out on the fact that he’s not paying 2%, and I guess he’s not very happy about it.”
