MT Greene Whines She Was ‘Attacked’ By An ‘Insane’ Woman And Gets Reminded Of Her Own Disgusting Behavior

Karma paid a visit to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), and she decided she’d share the details with the internet in search of sympathy, but instead she got reminded of her own hateful actions.

Greene complained about an incident she claims took place at a restaurant.

“I was attacked in a restaurant tonight by an insane women and screamed at by her adult son. They had no respect for the restaurant or the staff or the other people dining or people like me who simply have different political views. They are self righteous, insane, and completely out of control. I was sitting at my table, working with my staff, and never even noticed these people until they turned into demons. People used to respect others even if they had different views. But not anymore. Our country is gone.”

Of course, this is the very same Marjorie Taylor Greene who screamed “liar!” at President Joe Biden during his State of the Union Address earlier this month.

Greene has also been known to confront and attack anyone who disagrees with her on the issue of guns and gun control, going so far as to stalk and harass mass shooting survivor David Hogg.

More recently, Greene has called for a “national divorce” that would split the United States into red and blue states, suggesting that such a plan is the only way to avoid a second civil war.

Twitter users slammed Greene for her whining and reminded her of her own disgusting behavior over the years.

James Carville Slams Marjorie Taylor Greene And The GOP As ‘White Trash’

Longtime Democratic strategist James Carville has had enough of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and her ilk, especially in light of their infantile jeering at this year’s State of the Union Address, telling MSNBC host Ari Melber that Greene and those like her are “white trash.”

“Well, you know, I told people I have a PhD in white trashology, you saw real white trash on display. Let me say something about congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene. She dresses like white trash. She really needs a fashion consultant. I recommend George Santos. He could do a good job of dressing up where she doesn’t announce her white trashdom by her own clothes.”

Carville then took a flamethrower to the entire GOP:

“First of all, their lust for cutting Social Security and Medicare is well documented. Newt Gingrich shut the government down and got defeated in the end. We know that George W. Bush tried to privatize Social Security and Medicare. we know when Paul Ryan was Speaker and John Boehner — they did everything they could to cut Social Security and Medicare. We know that that is their objective.”

The Republican Party, Carville added, is trashy:

“President Joe Biden is 1000% right on this, and he’s right to press ahead, and I thought he had a great night last night. It’s just — the level of white trashdom in the Republican Party is staggering. I mean, for somebody that has observed it for a long time, like I have, I’ve never seen it manifest itself on a level that it’s manifesting itself.”

Before the interview ended, Carville also singled out Colorado Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert:

“You cannot do anything to have low-quality people — Lauren Boebert met her husband when — allegedly according to the police report, he exposed himself to her at a bowling alley. This is not made-up stuff. This is who they are! And even McCarthy, as gutless and spineless as he is, knew that they walked right into the trap. It’s unbelievable.”

Former GOP Adviser Tells ‘Insurrectionist’ Jim Jordan To ‘Shut The Hell Up’

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) will soon be chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, and a former GOP adviser has some advice for him: Shut the hell up.

Tara Setmayer made her remarks during an appearance on MSNBC Sunday, telling host Jonathan Capehart:

“I want to remind people who Jim Jordan is. Jim Jordan is potentially under investigation by the Department of Justice. He is now about to become the chairman of the Judiciary Committee which has direct oversight of the Department of Justice; there’s something incredibly wrong with that.”

Setmayer added:

“Jim Jordan was an insurrectionist. He was one the people in those backdoor deals with Rudy Giuliani and all those others to overturn the fair election in this country. He now has the power of the gavel, of the oversight committee for the Department of Justice. This is what people have voted into power.”

But that was just the beginning of what Setmayer had to say about Jordan and his GOP allies who are about to take control of the House:

“I think it is a responsibility for all of us who have a platform to remind the American people that elections have consequences. We cannot ignore the role that they played in almost losing our democracy on January sixth, they should all be held accountable and asked questions about.”

Setmayer said she has one message for Jordan, and she wishes he would heed her instructions:

“Jim Jordan really needs to shut the hell up with the righteous indignation about anything. Because he has not been held accountable for his own transgressions and I think that they should come sooner rather than later.”

Anti-McCarthy Republicans Are ‘In For A Rude Awakening’ Now That He’s Speaker: Report

Now that Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has finally been elected Speaker of the House, what will become of the breakaway faction of Republicans who refused to support him and made the entire GOP caucus look like a clown car for 96 hours?

According to a former Republican strategist, members of Congress such as Reps. Lauren Boebert (CO) and Matt Gaetz (FL) can expect to pay a heavy price that may contribute to them not getting reelected in 2024.

Conservative campaign consultant Alice Stewart said Saturday on CNN that the first punishment for renegade members who wouldn’t support McCarthy will be less prestigious committee assignments.

“I don’t think there’s going to be as much under the Christmas tree for them in that regard as they seem to think. Speaking with a lot of members of the rational Republican group throughout the weekend, specifically late into the night last night, they were frustrated. They were angry. They felt this was completely unnecessary given the fact that every concession they had requested had been met and this was not a matter of policy, this was just about personality conflicts with Kevin McCarthy.”

She added:

“Here these people have gone in day-in and day-out for all the right reasons for the party and for policies, and you have people like [Rep. Matt] Gaetz and [Rep. Lauren] Boebert who are in a vanity project to raise money for the future. They do have the opportunity to decide who gets on which committee and where and, I can guarantee you, Alex, that they’re going to be quite selective in who gets on which committee.

“Certainly Matt Gaetz has his eye on the prize for a key committee assignment, but they’re going to be in for a rude awakening because their colleagues are frustrated with the fact that they have a job to do.”

If indeed Boebert and Gaetz do lose in the next election, all of the chaos they’ve cause might just have been worthwhile. And the fewer Republicans there are in Congress, the better off the country will be.

Petition May Keep Boebert And Greene From Being Seated When Congress Convenes In January

A petition filed Friday by two progressive advocacy groups could keep three Republican members of the U.S. House of Representatives — Reps. Lauren Boebert (CO), Paul Gosar (AZ), and Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA) from being seated when the new Congress convenes in January due to their vocal support for the January 6, 2021 Capitol insurrection.

Free Speech for People and MoveOn filed the petition, which cites the 14th Amendment to the Constitution. That amendment bars anyone from Congress who has sworn to preserve, protect, and defend the nation but then “engaged in insurrection or rebellion.”

As of Saturday morning, over 68,000 people have signed the petition, which states, Reps. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.), Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.), and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) “are ineligible to hold future public office, having voiced support for and helped facilitate the deadly insurrection on our nation’s Capitol on January 6th, 2021.”

The petition continues:

Publicly available evidence establishes that Rep. Paul Gosar helped facilitate the insurrection, before, during, and after January 6, 2021. Not only was he among a handful of Congress members who expressed vocal support for the insurrection as it was happening , but, according to news reports, Gosar went so far as to offer organizers of the pre-attack demonstration a “blanket pardon” in connection with unrelated criminal investigations, encouraging what would no doubt be an illegal act of violence.

In the weeks leading up to January 6, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene publicly stated that violence might be necessary to keep Trump in power, exhorted her followers not to allow Congress to transfer power peacefully, and, the night before the attack, called the date “our 1776 moment” (a codeword used by violent extremists to refer to an attack on government buildings). Greene has since attempted to defend the violence on January 6 as justified by the Declaration of Independence, calling convicted participants in the insurrection “political prisoners of war.” In December 2022, she bragged that “if” she had organized the attack, “we would have won. Not to mention, it would’ve been armed.”

Rep. Lauren Boebert echoed Greene’s coded sentiments during the insurrection, tweeting, “Today is 1776.” She was billed as a speaker for the pre-attack Capitol protest, though she did not speak. Three days prior to the insurrection, Boebert released an ad featuring herself walking through federal buildings while brandishing a firearm, pledging to carry a handgun in the Capitol despite D.C. laws banning open carry. In addition, two January 6th organizers told Rolling Stone of “dozens” of planning meetings with Boebert and several other Congress members in the days leading up to the insurrection.

The petition follows action taken Friday by more than 40 congressional Democrats who introduced legislation to bar failed former president Donald Trump from holding office again, also citing the insurrection clause of the 14th Amendment.

Rep. David Cicilline (D-RI), lead sponsor of the bill that would keep Trump from serving in office again, explained:

“Donald Trump very clearly engaged in an insurrection on January 6, 2021 with the intention of overturning the lawful and fair results of the 2020 election. You don’t get to lead a government you tried to destroy.”
