Kristi Noem Tries To Troll Barack Obama But Only Succeeds In Owning Herself

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) took time off Tuesday from killing puppies to try and troll former President Barack Obama, but she only managed to humiliate herself for the entire internet to see.

Obama brought up Noem’s name while campaigning for Vice President Kamala Harris in Madison, Wisconsin, noting that had been onstage with Trump when the disgraced ex-president ended a rally in Pennsylvania and danced to music for nearly 40 minutes last week.

“She’s standing there with this weird look on her face like she doesn’t really know what’s going on. It’s like a hostage video,” Obama said to laughter from supporters at the rally.

That comment severely triggered Noem, who decided she’d try and get her revenge on Twitter/X, posting, “I couldn’t decide if I wanted to make a joke about Obama’s failed presidency…or his being besties with Diddy…or how it’s his fault we have Joe Biden in the first place… Then I remembered I just don’t care what @BarackObama thinks!”

That was all it took to set off a torrent of mockery aimed at the dog killer.

Flood Of GOP Polls Could Be ‘Rigging’ Last-Minute Electoral Momentum In Trump’s Favor

Just a couple of weeks ago, it seemed that everything was going swimmingly for the campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, showing them leading in almost every key swing state and nationally, with the Democratic ticket’s lead growing as large as four to five percentage points.

Now, however, with Election Day less than two weeks away, you see endless stories in the media about how former president Donald Trump is gaining momentum and could even be considered the favorite.

What in the world is going on here?!

It’s called poll rigging, and as Greg Sargent and Michael Tomasky explain in The New Republic, right-wing affiliated polling firms are bragging that they’re behind the Trump polling bump.

It all went down in mid-September, at a time when the FiveThirtyEight polling averages showed the slightest of leads for Kamala Harris in North Carolina, a must-win state for Trump. Her edge was short-lived: The averages moved back to favoring Trump. And Quantus Insights, a GOP-friendly polling firm, took credit for this development. When a MAGA influencer celebrated the pro-Trump shift on X (formerly Twitter), Quantus’s account responded: “You’re welcome.”

The implication was clear. A Quantus poll had not only pushed the averages back to Trump; this was nakedly the whole point of releasing the poll in the first place.

Of course, the underlying goal of such poll rigging is simple: Create momentum which then gets press coverage and makes voters believe the election is shifting in favor of a candidate. Republicans have been doing it for years, but the last time they did so, it wound up biting them right on the ass.

Coming at a time when right-wing disinformation is soaring—and Trump’s most feverish ally, Elon Musk, is converting X into a bottomless sewer pit of MAGA-pilled electoral propaganda—these critics see all this as a hyper-emboldened version of what happened in 2022, when GOP polls flooded the polling averages and arguably helped make GOP Senate candidates appear stronger than they were, leading to much-vaunted predictions of a “red wave.” Most prominently, Democratic strategist Simon Rosenberg and data analyst Tom Bonier, who were skeptical of such predictions in 2022 and ultimately proved correct, are now warning that all this is happening again.

There was no 2022 “red wave,” and many of us were left wondering (as we did in 2016 when Trump defeated Hillary Clinton) how the polls could have been so wrong.

They were wrong because polls can easily be manipulated and often reflect the bias of the pollster conducting the poll.

Polling bias/rigging is now so ubiquitous (especially among conservatives) that it has become a default strategy for the 2024 Trump campaign, which knows Harris has more money to spend in the closing days of the campaign as real momentum (i.e. voters going to the polls) builds for Democrats. Republicans are desperate for a narrative to counter what they see happening on the ground.

In their telling, GOP data is serving an essential end of pro-Trump propaganda, which is heavily geared toward painting him as a formidable, “strong” figure whose triumph over the “weak” Kamala Harris is inevitable. This illusion is essential to Trump’s electoral strategy, goes this reading, and GOP-aligned data firms are concertedly attempting to build up that impression, both in the polling averages and in media coverage that is gravitationally influenced by it. They are also engaged in a data-driven psyop designed to spread a sense of doom among Democrats that the election is slipping away from them.

A data-driven psyop. In other words, it’s the sort of thing that’s done in Russia and other authoritarian countries: Repeating a lie so often that people start to believe it’s true.

Who is actually on the path to victory on November 5? A poll won’t tell you. That can only be determined by counting the ballots. So hang in there. We’ve only got 13 more days before the polls are utterly irrelevant.

Donald Trump Tells Supporters ‘We Have To Go Back To 1798’ – When Slavery Was Legal

Disgraced former president Donald Trump said Tuesday during a campaign rally in Greenville, North Carolina, that he has the perfect way to make America great again.

However, Trump’s plan would violate millions of people’s rights.

“If Kamala gets four more years, you will not have a country left,” Trump claimed. “Immediately upon taking the oath of office, I will launch the largest deportation program in American history.”

“I will rescue every town across America that has been invaded and conquered, and we will put these vicious and bloodthirsty criminals in jail or kick them the hell out of our country back to where they came from,” he added.

According to Trump, if he wins the 2024 election, he will reinstate the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to speed up deportations.

“Think of that, 1798. That’s when we had real politicians that said, we’re not going to play games.”

“We have to go back to 1798 to target and dismantle every migrant criminal network operating on American soil.”

However, as with nearly everything Trump proposes, there are some serious legal and civil rights problems with such a plan, not to mention that in 1798 this country still allowed for slavery and prohibited women from voting, as he was reminded on social media.

Trump’s Latest Verbal Gaffes About His Age Have People Suggesting ‘His Brain Is Broken’

Granted, we’ve had this concern before, but it seems former President Donald Trump’s actions and words keep necessitating a return to the issue.

The issue is whether or not Trump is mentally fit to even be allowed in public.

More proof suggesting that the disgraced ex-president is indeed non compos mentis arrived over the weekend when he was speaking at a campaign rally in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and suggested that at 78 he’s not too old to serve as head of state because 78 isn’t that close to 80.

“I’m not 80, and I’m not that close to 80.”

However, Trump’s next verbal gaffe is what set off waves of concern on social media.

“I have no cognitive,” Trump said at the rally. “She might have a cognitive problem. There’s no cognitive problem.”

And then, a few minutes later, Trump repeated that he’s “got no cognitive,” but failed to complete the sentence.

Does Trump have cognitive issues? It certainly sounds like he does, and the latest evidence kicked off a new round of debate and chiding online.

Enraged ‘Christian’ Trump Supporter Threatens Kamala Harris – She’s ‘Gonna Meet Her Maker’

A rabid supporter of failed one-term, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump said over the weekend that Vice President Kamala Harris should start praying and asking God to forgive her or else she would “meet her maker.”

The man, who said his name was Andrew, spoke to a reporter from Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN), and proclaimed that he was there to “represent the truth, Jesus Christ.”

Despite his claims of representing Christ, Andrew had some other incredibly un-Christlike things to say, accusing Democrats of having “sold out for the devil.”

“They don’t want anything to do with God,” he said. “I think [Harris] better get on her hands and her knees and start crying out to the one and true living God because if not, she’s gonna meet her maker real quick.”

“I think she’s dumb,” he added. “She’s one of the dumbest women that could ever run. She shouldn’t run.”

Andrew also spouted off some misogynistic bile.

“This is a man’s world. This is a man’s country. This… this country is supposed to be run like a business. And that is why Donald Trump is the one that we need at this moment.”

Social media users pushed back on the man’s rantings.
