Herschel Walker’s Son Destroys Him In Brutal Twitter Thread After Senate Runoff Loss

Shortly after it became clear on Tuesday evening that Georgia GOP Senate candidate Herschel Walker had lost to incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock (D), Walker’s son, Christian, went on Twitter and eviscerated his father in a series of postings.

Walker, who had been enthusiastically endorsed by disgraced, one-term, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump, came up almost 3 points short of Warnock, with the AP reporting that the former football star took 48.6% of the ballots cast. Warnock won 51.4% of the total vote.

Christian Walker had initially supported his father’s bid for the Senate, Mediaite notes:

But in early October, as news broke of reported abortions paid for by his father and accusations of abuse surfaced about his father, Christian broke his silence and condemned the GOP and Trump for selecting a candidate that was, in his opinion, so flawed as a father that he could not serve dutifully in Senate.

Christian Walker celebrated his father’s loss, reminding him of all the accusations against him.

“Don’t beat women, hold guns to peoples heads, fund abortions then pretend your pro-life, stalk cheerleaders, leave your multiple minor children alone to chase more fame, lie, lie, lie, say stupid crap, and make a fool of your family.. And then maybe you can win a senate seat.”

“Don’t compare Warnock running over his wife’s foot to my father holding guns and knives to my mothers throat, threatening to kill his therapist, her, and one of his adultresses in a therapy session, and telling my mom and I he was going to beat our asses. Get off my page.”

Christian also had plenty of criticism for Trump.

New Senate Composition Means Manchin And Sinema Are About To ‘Lose Power’

Next Tuesday, if Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) defeats GOP challenger Herschel Walker (and every metric suggests he will), Democrats will have a 51-49 advantage in the U.S. Senate, a gain of one seat in the recent midterm elections.

And if Warnock wins, Sens. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) will no longer be able to stand in the way of progress being made by their Democratic colleagues in the upper chamber of Congress.

Nick Reynolds of Newsweek explains:

Depending on the result of next week’s runoff election between Georgia Democrat Raphael Warnock and Republican Herschel Walker, Democrats stand to control 51 seats in the U.S. Senate as well as the tie-breaking vote of Vice President Kamala Harris, requiring both senators to break with their party to sink a piece of legislation.

Bottom line: Manchin and Sinema are about to lose what power they have.

“I don’t expect Manchin or Sinema to have much influence to be quite honest,” Joshua Huder, a senior fellow at Georgetown University’s Government Affairs Institute, told Newsweek.

[…]

“To the degree that they do have influence, it’ll be much more in the vein of the infrastructure bill-type influence,” Huder said in reference to concessions they received for fossil fuel permitting and corporate tax carveouts in a recent infrastructure package.

“They’re not going to be able to kill Democratic initiatives like they did,” he added. “They’re not going to be able to threaten not to go along with the filibuster.

“They’re not going to be able to do any of the stuff that really gave them a lot of veto power. They can be a positive influence in the sense that they can negotiate with Republicans, but that’s really the limit of what they can do.”

Gregory Magarian, a professor at the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, concurs, noting:

“Republicans will need to pass legislation that Democrats will accept, while what we’ve seen Manchin and Sinema do over the last couple of years is pull the legislation sufficiently far to the right to be acceptable to those pivotal House Republicans.

“So at that point, if we’re thinking about this in fairly linear ideological terms, there really shouldn’t be anything left for Manchin and Sinema to do.”

Good! All they’ve done is obstruct, so it’s time they became powerless and irrelevant.

Fox Host Mocks Herschel Walker When He Begs For Donations Instead Of Answering Questions

It seems that even Fox News is sick and tired of Georgia GOP Senate candidate Herschel Walker’s refusal to answer questions, and they’re letting him know it to his face.

Case in point: Walker made an appearance on “Fox & Friends” Wednesday morning and insisted that he wasn’t there to beg for donations the way Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) did when he was seeking reelection.

“I’m going to say this, Brian, I’m not Lindsey Graham, but you’ve got to go to TeamHerschel.com. I want everyone to go to TeamHerschel.com because they’re not going to buy this seat. They can’t win on their policies, so what they’re trying to do right now is buy this seat. Well, they’re not going to buy it. I don’t care where [Sen. Raphael Warnock] is getting his money from.”

Recent fundraising numbers show that Warnock is destroying Walker in the money race, NBC News reports:

Georgia Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock raised $52.2 million for his re-election between Oct. 20 through Nov. 16, more than doubling the fundraising total of his opponent, Republican Herschel Walker.

Warnock, the top fundraising federal candidate of the 2022 election cycle by a long-shot, spent $39.2 million over the same period, which almost doubled Walker’s spend too. The incumbent closed the period with $29.7 million banked away.

Walker still raised a significant amount over that fundraising period — $20.9 million. His campaign spent $16.5 million and closed with $9.8 million on hand.

Walker also told host Brian Kilmeade:

“I love the Lord Jesus. That’s the reason I got into this race, and we’re going to go out and beat Sen. Warnock because he don’t stand for Georgia.”

Kilmeade wrapped up the interview by telling Walker, “Herschel, best of luck. It’s a sprint to Dec. 6. Thanks so much for joining us.”

Once again, Walker begged for money:

“Thank you. God bless. And TeamHerschel.com. I love you.”

The host ended the interview by telling Walker he sounded just like Graham asking for money:

“Right! You are doing your best Lindsey Graham impression.”

When Graham was up for reelection in 2020, he went on Fox and whined:

“LindseyGraham.com. Help me. They’re killing me, money-wise. Help me. You helped me last week — help me again. LindseyGraham.com.”

Lindsey Graham Does 35 Push-Ups To Support Herschel Walker – And It’s Even Worse Than You Can Imagine

In an effort to get Georgia Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker elected in next months runoff election, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) made an appearance on Sean Hannity’s show Wednesday evening and agreed to do push-ups to prove his support for Walker.

Queerty ran across the video of Graham working out on Walker’s YouTube account and reports:

The challenge came about after Sean Hannity spoke to Walker and Graham on a Fox News segment. He said that Walker impressed him previously with his ability to do push-ups. Hannity suggested Walker check out whether Graham was up to the challenge of doing some himself.

This led to a campaign video in which Graham challenges viewers to donate $34 if he and Walker can each do 34 push-ups. It’s unclear why they plumped for the number 34.

In the video, Graham happily gets down and does 35 push-ups, followed by Walker.

Before you watch the video, you might want to make sure your children and elderly relatives are out of the room. It could well be too much for impressionable youngsters and lead to cardiac arrest for anyone over the age of 60 once they start laughing and can’t quit.

Graham was also present when Walker was being interviewed and the candidate proudly proclaimed that “This erection is about the people.”

Erection election in a pumped up direction. Since Walker is too clueless to explain policy, the push-ups tell all you need to know about the “substance” of his campaign.

Gisele Fetterman Claps Back At Fox News For Pushing A Conspiracy Theory About Her

Gisele Fetterman is sick and tired of the bullshit being spread by Fox News and other right-wing “news” outlets regarding her husband, Senator-elect John Fetterman (D-PA) since he won a contentious election over Republican challenger Mehmet Oz.

Specifically, Fox is now suggesting that Mrs. Fetterman is some sort of “puppet master” who will be the de facto senator from the Keystone State, even though the voters didn’t elect her.

The New Republic notes that Fox seems determined to undermine the new Pennsylvania senator before he even takes office in January.

That triggered right-wing attacks that have persisted ever since. A survey by liberal press tracker Media Matters for America found that Fox News’s primetime lineup mentioned Fetterman more than Democratic nominees in six other competitive races combined.

On Tuesday, Fox News host Harris Faulkner took issue with a photo Gisele tweeted of herself beside her Senator-elect husband who is partially cropped from the image (…the couple have a running joke that John doesn’t fit in photos).

A conspiracy theory was implied that Gisele was trying to steal the show (and maybe even the Senate seat) from her duly elected husband.

“First day for Senator-elect Gisele Fetterman,” said Townhall’s Mia Cathell. “Why is she even there?” asked someone called Bonchie on RedState. Both remarks were quickly aggregated with other jabs against Gisele into a digital story on Fox News’s website, which was followed by a graphics package of mean tweets about the Fettermans that Faulkner gleefully read on-air.

Gisele has seen and heard the hateful attacks on her, and now she’s giving as good as she got from Fox, slamming them and others in right-wing media as misogynists.

“The right-wing hates women. They especially hate strong women, and I think that’s what you’re seeing,” said Gisele of the ceaseless ridicule she’s gotten from conservative media operatives looking to define her as self-serving and suspicious. “The fact that a spouse of a senator-elect has been attacked nonstop for the past 24 hours and everyone’s okay with it and everyone thinks it’s normal … it’s not normal,” said Gisele after her first day on Capitol Hill.

“Since entering the Capitol for training, my inbox has been completely filled with threats and horrible things. And that’s because I’ve been a non-stop loop on Fox News,” said the Brazilian-born Senate spouse. “Hopefully it’s not like this forever … and hopefully it’s not like this for the next young Latina or person of color or spouse who enters this space.”

As a matter of fact, Gisele insists, she has never and will never seek to have a career in politics.

“Never. It’s not for me. It’s a very cruel world, and I am not cruel. I don’t ever wanna become cruel. I’m sensitive. I want people to like me. It hurts me when people are mean.”
