Washed-up, no-talent rock musician Ted Nugent is getting pilloried on social media for remarks he made about the biggest music star on the face of the planet, Taylor Swift.
According to HuffPost, Nugent made his comments on recent episode of “The Joe Pags Show.”
Instead, Nugent suggested, music lovers should be focused on the “fire” produced by bands such as ZZ Top, Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels, Brownsville Station and The Amboy Dukes, which just so happens to be Nugent’s former band and hasn’t made a recording since 1975.
Considering that Swift’s Eras Tour recently became the highest grossing concert tour in history — surpassing $1 billion in earnings — and her being named Time’s Person of the Year, Nugent’s attack sounds like a mixture of jealousy and sour grapes.
Twitter users were only to happy to remind Nugent that his own career has been on the decline since the 1980s and he should just go ahead and fade into total obscurity.
Actor John Schneider is best known for playing the role of Bo Duke on the TV series “The Dukes of Hazzard,” which ran on CBS from 1979 to 1985.
But Schneider may soon be getting a visit from the FBI and Secret Service for a posting me made on Twitter in response to a tweet from President Joe Biden in which he called for Biden to be “publicly hung” along with his son, Hunter.
The president’s tweet was about failed former president Donald Trump.
” Trump poses many threats to our country: The right to choose, civil rights, voting rights, and America’s standing in the world.”
“But the greatest threat he poses is to our democracy. If we lose that, we lose everything,”
That led Schneider to reply:
“Mr. President, I believe you are guilty of treason and should be publicly hung. Your son too. Your response is..? Sincerely, John Schneider.”
Schneider has now deleted the tweet, but not before many social media users took screenshots of his disgusting threat against the Bidens.
If there’s any justice in the world, the washed-up actor will wind up even more irrelevant than he already is.
Speaking Tuesday at the Turning Point USA convention in Phoenix, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) launched a disgusting and hateful attack on liberal women, whom he called “angry,” and also suggested that their boyfriends cannot please them sexually.
According to David Badash of the New Civil Rights Movement, an enraged Cruz told a gathering of young right-wingers he was sick of liberals, even going so far as to suggest that anyone who dares to declare their pronouns can “kiss my ass.”
The Texas Republican got plenty of well-deserved pushback on Twitter, with one person referring to him as a “vile pig.”
Now that a precedent has been established in the state of Georgia as a result of the massive $148 million defamation judgement handed down against Rudy Giuliani for his slagging of election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, it’s fair to ask if a similar fate awaits failed former president Donald Trump, who has also said horrible things about the two women.
As MSNBC’s Ali Velshi noted, “If Giuliani is guilty of defaming two innocent people, knowingly spreading lies at their expense, is the disgraced ex-president as well?”
Velshi explained why Trump should be worried.
Velshi then played a video clip of Trump declaring, “So, if you just take the crime of what those Democrat workers were doing — by the way, there was no water main break,” said Trump in the clip. “You know, they said there was no water main break. That’s ten times more than I need to win this state, ten times more. It is ten times, maybe more than that, but it is ten times more because we lost by a very close number.”
What is next? Probably a massive lawsuit filed by Freeman and Moss against Trump. As if he doesn’t already have enough legal headaches.
Former Illinois Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger served on the House Select Committee on January 6 and recently published a book, Renegade: Defending Democracy and Liberty in Our Divided Country, in which he warned that if failed ex-president Donald Trump is elected in 2024, it will be the end of the American republic.
Now, however, Kinzinger is telling something about Trump that is absolutely guaranteed to enrage the former guy: Donald stinks. Literally.
Here’s what Kinzinger tweeted out over the weekend:
Kinzinger isn’t the only person who has brought up the stench that surrounds Trump.
