Jamie Raskin Brutally Trolls The GOP At House Hearing: ‘Some Of Them Blindly Worship Convicted Felons’

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) lit into members of the GOP for their undying loyalty to convicted felon/presidential candidate Donald Trump during a House hearing on the origins of COVID-19.

The witness was former National Institutes of Health Director Dr. Anthony Fauci, and Raskin told him, “The claim was essentially that you tried to cover up the possibility of there having been a laboratory leak, which, of course, is perfectly possible. And if this committee were doing its job, we could actually be working to advance the investigation of that. But they would rather assert that you tried to cover up this possibility.”

Fauci told Raskin that he had spent his entire life working to find the cause of diseases such as COVID.

“Well, Dr. Fauci, I want to join my colleague from Florida in apologizing to you that some of our colleagues in the United States House of Representatives seem to want to drag your name through the mud,” Raskin said. “They’re treating you, Dr. Fauci, like a convicted felon.”

And then the congressman put his Republican colleagues on notice regarding their willingness to embrace a man who was convicted on 34 felony counts just last week.

“Actually, you probably wish they were treating you like a convicted felon. They treat convicted felons with love and admiration. Some of them blindly worship convicted felons.”

Republicans are the biggest hypocrites on the face of the planet. They scream about “law and order” and then give their undying loyalty to a man who lies, cheats, rapes, and steals.

The only way to counter the lawlessness of the GOP is to vote every last one of them out in November.

Trump Likely To Serve Any Prison Time In A Double-Wide Trailer: Former FBI Director

If convicted felon Donald Trump is sentenced to any time in prison when he appears before New York Judge Juan Merchan on July 11, it’s likely the disgraced ex-president would wind up serving that sentence in a secure double-wide trailer located on a prison compound in the Empire State.

Former FBI Director James Comey made the double-wide suggestion during an appearance on MSNBC with host Jen Psaki.

“Do you think he’s going to be wearing an ankle bracelet or be in jail after the sentencing?” Psaki inquired.

“Seems unlikely, but I’ve never seen a defendant beg for it more by attacking the judge, attacking the jury, attacking the witnesses,” Comey replied. “One of the key things in assessing what sentence is appropriate, a judge looks at, so are you sorry for what you did, are you respecting the system? This defendant is running the other way.”

Psaki then noted that it would be “nearly impossible” to actually put Trump in jail, but Comey disagreed.

“They would just put him in a double wide somewhere out near the fence, out in the grass,” Comey said. “And he would eat there, he’d shower there, he’d exercise there, he’d be away… from general population, but it’s obviously doable.”

Can you imagine the indignity of a self-professed billionaire having to live for several months in a trailer on a prison compound? It would be the ultimate humiliation, and it would also be entirely fitting for a white trash sack of dung like Donald Trump. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, but deep down inside he knows that he’s a failure.

Trailer Trash Trump. It certainly has the ring of truth to it.

Trump Expert Predicts Donald Won’t Be Able To Pass Court-Ordered Mental Health Questionnaire

Before his July 11 sentencing on the 34 criminal counts he was convicted of this week, former president Donald Trump will have to meet and submit to “presentencing interviews” with members of the New York probation department.

Part of that process will involve Trump sitting for “presentencing interviews” where he will be asked all sort of uncomfortable and embarrassing questions, according to legal analyst David Henderson, who was a guest on MSNBC Saturday and was asked by host Yasmin Vossoughian, “What is required by the former president by that process?”

“What is required depends on whether or not he wants to be sentenced to probation as opposed to go to jail,” Henderson replied. “They’re not strict requirements but highly persuasive for the person who will ultimately be deciding your fate.”

“The first big question that’s asked in interviews is what is your criminal history,” Henderson added. “Former president Trump doesn’t have any. He aces that part of the interview. They will ask do you have any substance abuse issues or issues to alcohol we should take into consideration? He claims he does not. He aces that part of the interview.”

Some of the questions, however, Trump “will find uncomfortable,” Henderson predicted.

“For example, they are allowed to assess his mental health and determine whether or not he needs counseling and whether or not he would cooperate with participating in counseling. I think he fails part of the exam. And they will also ask how he feels about the charges brought against him and whether or not he accepts the jury verdict. As you said, he doesn’t have to answer but the problem here is it’s not difficult to look at statements he’s made publicly about both and it’s impossible for Judge Merchan to ignore those and it’s impossible to ignore the fact that Judge Merchan appears to be someone who cares about fairness and it’s almost impossible not to compare Trump with Michael Cohen.”

Kristi Noem Gets Fact-Checked To Her Face When She Lies About Trump’s Guilty Verdict

Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD) — a.k.a the confessed puppy killer angling to be vice president — pathetically tried to suggest that convicted former president Donald Trump had been targeted by the Biden administration and was verbally swatted down by CNN host Erin Burnett Friday evening on the news network.

Noem told Burnett that President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice was responsible for Trump being found guilty of 34 criminal counts this week in a Manhattan court.

“Look at what happened this week, what President Biden and his team have been able to do: To distract America with this trial and we’re not talking about the open border. The fact that President Biden is violating federal law by allowing this…”

Burnett cut Noem off to correct her.

“Governor, I do think it’s important to note that this trial was not brought by Department of Justice, which is bringing a case against President Biden’s son Hunter Biden that starts next week. This case, the Department of Justice did not choose to pursue against Trump.”

“It was brought by New York so you just said that it’s President Biden’s case that’s not true.”

But Noem continued to spin her conspiracy theory.

“We all know that the Obama Administration officials that were moved to this DA’s office in order to bring forward this type of action against President Trump and we all recognize that Hillary Clinton did this exact same thing and she paid a fine for it and instead when it’s president Trump and no crime was committed and he did nothing wrong instead they bring 34 felony accounts and convictions against him. It’s completey different judicial treatment.”

Noem and her fellow Republicans can whine all they want, but the person responsible for Donald Trump’s convictions is Trump himself. He paid hush money to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal to hide his affairs with them. He also falsified business records to hide those payments. And then he lied about it in an attempt to boost his chances of winning the 2016 presidential election.

While Republicans may find comfort in blaming others for the actions of their orange savior, the vast majority of Americans see through their bullshit and will vote accordingly come November.

Michael Cohen Has A Hilarious Nickname For Trump Attorney Todd Blanche – And It’s Going Viral

Michael Cohen got sweet payback on Todd Blanche, the attorney who defended convicted felon Donald Trump in his Manhattan hush money and election interference trial by branding him with a new nickname that has quickly gone viral on social media.

Speaking with MSNBC host Rachel Maddow, Cohen was asked about a term Blanche used in his closing statement, calling Trump’s former fixer the GLOAT or “greatest liar of all time.”

Cohen responded, “It’s a Donald Trump fourth-grade playground bullying type of tactic.”

“I was going to call him a SLOAT, which is the stupidest lawyer of all time,” Cohen added. “You cannot listen to your client when you are trying to create a defense ― a defense that is as important as this one is.”

Video of Cohen’s comments has been viewed on Twitter nearly 132,000 times in just a bit over 12 hours since it was first posted, along with plenty of comments of praise for him.
