Must-See Video: Trump Tries To Say The Lord’s Prayer And Fails Miserably

While he repeatedly claims to be a defender of the Christian faith in the United States, failed one-term former president Donald Trump also fails to prove that he understands even of the most basic tenets of Christianity.

Remember when he was asked in 2015 to name his favorite Bible verse, Trump was unable to, saying there were “so many” and he couldn’t choose just one.

Just last week, Trump began hawking a “God Bless the USA Bible.” Did he do it out of the goodness of his heart? No. Instead, he made sure that he receives some of the profits from each $59.95 copy sold, a dead giveaway that he doesn’t understand what Jesus meant when he said you cannot serve God and mammon.

And now we have video proof that Donald doesn’t know the words to one of the most basic portions of the Christian prayer liturgy, the Lord’s Prayer, which most 5th graders can easily recite.

“Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory, For ever and ever. Amen.”

A video of Trump shot over the Easter weekend provides evidence that he has no clue what the words are in the Lord’s Prayer, and the clip soon went viral on social media. Take a look:

Trump’s MAGA supporters would likely tell you their hero was just having a bad day, or couldn’t hear the prayer and was therefore unable to follow along.

But it turns out this isn’t the first time Donnie has flubbed the prayer, as Ron Filipkowski noted on Twitter.

Social media didn’t hold back after seeing the videos of the prayer-challenged, one-term ex-president.

Top Evangelical Leader Trolls ‘Chump’ Trump With ‘Golden Showers’ Taunt

A top evangelical leader in the state of Iowa is firing back at failed one-term, twice-impeached and multiply-indicted former president Donald Trump, even going so far as to reference rumors that the ex-president engaged in a deviant sex act with prostitutes.

Evangelical Bob Vander Plaats endorsed Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis last week, which immediately drew Trump’s ire, HuffPost notes.

Trump, the 2024 Republican front-runner, fired off a furious message on his Truth Social platform. He called Family Leader CEO Vander Plaats a “former high school accountant” who was “more known for scamming Candidates than he is for Victory.” Trump also claimed a $95,000 donation to Vander Plaats’ nonprofit from the DeSantis campaign was to buy his endorsement, an allegation that Vander Plaats has denied.

Vander Plaats was only too happy to respond to Trump, and he brought out the nuclear weapon of allegations that have been made against the former president, leveling him on Twitter.

Will evangelicals continue to support Trump as he seeks a second term in the White House? Recent polls show they aren’t as enthusiastic about Donald as they once were, CBS News reported in September.

George Conway Trolls The MAGA Faithful With His Trumpian 10 Commandments

Now that we have a new speaker of the House who is fully committed to the Big Lie that the 2020 election was stolen from multiply-indicted former president Donald Trump yet professes to be a Christian, it seems only fair that someone make it crystal clear exactly what the Trump faithful have actually signed up for.

Why? Because the Trump acolytes need to be mocked, shamed, and trolled for pledging their undying loyalty to the most immoral man to ever hold public office in this country.

That’s why attorney George Conway’s new Trumpian Ten Commandments is so timely, as he explained on Twitter.

Conway begins with this instruction on how best to get the message to the MAGA lunatics who have been elected to Congress:

“To be posted in all Members’ offices per order of the Speaker:”

And then we get the new commandments, which also need to be shared far and wide on every social media platform, including Truth Social for anyone who has an account there and wants to make sure the Donald sees them.

1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me, except thou shalt followeth thy Orange Jesus over any moral cliff.

2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, unless thou shalt have purchaseth it on http://DonaldJTrump.com.

3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain, except when thou shalt attacketh Brandon or thy RINOs.

4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy, unless thou attendeth a musical production in Denver.

5. Honour thy father and thy mother, and burieth thy mother on thy father’s golf course.

6. Thou shalt not kill, but thou shalt shooteth looters on sight, and puteth alligators in thy moat to keepeth out the Mexicans.

7. Thou shalt not commit adultery, but if thou shalt do so with thy porn star, thou shalt payeth her off through an intermediary and falsifieth thy accounting records.

8. Thou shalt not steal, unless thou needeth to steeleth one moreth than a certain number of popular votes or unless thou can hideth thy stollen documents at thy bathroom in thy resort.

9. Thou shalt not bear false witness. LOL.

10. Thou shalt not covet (but seeth nos. 2, 4, 7, and 8 aboveth).

Yep. That pretty much covers it, although a true MAGA hypocrite probably needs an accompanying photo of the entire Trump family so that he or she can also pay tribute to the spawn of Donnie.

Garland Goes NUCLEAR On Republican For Accusing Him Of Religious Discrimination

Attorney General Merrick Garland went off on Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ) during a hearing of the House Judiciary Committee Wednesday when the congressman suggested that the Justice Department discriminates against Catholics who are opposed to abortion.

Van Drew began by remarking, “The two-tiered system of justice is clear and it’s clear to the American public. And the buck stops with the man in charge. That man is you. The actions of the DOJ are on you. The decline of Americans trust in our federal law enforcement is on you. The political weaponization of the DOJ is on you. Attorney General, I need a simple yes or no to the following. Just yes or no because we don’t have much time. Do you agree that traditional Catholics are violent extremists, yes or no?”

The AG replied,  “Let me answer what you’ve said in that long list of-“

“Attorney General, I control the time. I’m gonna ask you to answer the questions I ask,” Van Drew insisted.

Garland: “You’ve controlled the time by asking me a substantial number of things and I –”

Van Drew:  “I didn’t ask you those things, I made a statement. Attorney General, through the chair I ask you, do you agree that traditional Catholics are violent extremists? Answer the question.”

“I have no idea what traditional means here, let me just-” Garland insisted before Van Drew cut him off again.

“Catholics! Catholics that go to church.”

Garland: “May I answer your question? The idea that someone with my family background would discriminate against any religion is so outrageous! So absurd!”

Garland’s family fled from Russia due to anti-Semitism, and the fact that Van Drew would ask such a question clearly infuriated him.

Van Drew continued to press.

“Mr. Attorney General, it was your FBI that did this. It was your FBI that was sending — and we have the memos, we have the emails –were sending undercover agents into Catholic churches.”

The AG replied, “Both I and the director of the FBI have said that we were appalled by that memo.”

Mediaite notes that Van Drew was clearly referring to recent convictions of pro-life Catholics who blockaded family planning clinics:

Garland and Van Drew continued to spar over the DOJ’s treatment of religious Catholics. The former’s DOJ has been criticized for its zealous prosecution of pro-life activists. Last week, two 70+ year old women were found guilty of being “engaged in a conspiracy to create a blockade at the reproductive health care clinic to prevent the clinic from providing, and patients from receiving, reproductive health services.”

Jake Tapper Asks Mike Pence: Did You Betray Your Faith By Defending Trump’s ‘Ungodly’ Actions?

CNN host Jake Tapper confronted former vice president Mike Pence on Sunday, asking if he thought he betrayed his faith with his willingness to defend and justify the actions of his ex-boss, Donald Trump.

Quoting comments from Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT), who told the Atlantic he didn’t understand how Pence could excuse the things Trump did and said, Tapper asked:

“The profile appeared in the Atlantic where Republican Senator Mitt Romney is quoted saying that when it comes to your actions as Donald Trump’s vice president nobody had been quote ‘More willing to smile when he saw absurdities, more willing to ascribe God’s will to things that were ungodly than Mike Pence,’ unquote.”

“What do you say to that, do you think you used your faith to justify ungodly things as vice president, as Mitt Romney believes?”

Clearly perturbed by Romney’s remarks, Pence replied:

“Look, Mitt Romney has no idea what I was doing in the administration,” Pence said. “I haven’t talked to Mitt Romney for years.”

“And I think he can go off into retirement,” he continued. “He’s even critical of his old running mate Paul Ryan in the pages of that book. So I know the stands that we took, I know the stands that we maintained and I’ll always believe that we were called to that fight.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWE2_T2wg_M

What “fight” were Trump and Pence called to? The one that resulted in appointing Supreme Court justices who have decided American women don’t have a right to make their own reproductive choices?

Or was the fight to cut taxes for the richest Americans, who, according to Pence’s Bible, have an almost impossible path to heaven?

Or could the real fight be Trump and Pence’s sick desire for power at any cost, no matter how many have to suffer?

Mike Pence is a fake Christian who deserves to spend eternity in the hell he’s so afraid of.
