Adam Schiff Trolls The GOP And Trump At House Hearing – Repeats The Word ‘Guilty’ 34 Times

As Senate Republicans were holding an early birthday celebration for convicted felon Donald Trump on Capitol Hill Thursday — the first time Trump has been back to Washington, D.C. since the January 6, 2021 insurrection — the House Judiciary Committee was in session for a hearing on the supposed “weaponization” of the American judicial system against the disgraced ex-president.

But if the GOP was hoping to accuse others of improper actions, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) reminded his Trump-worshiping colleagues on the other side of the aisle that they’re nothing but pathetic hypocrites, HuffPost reports, beginning his remarks by repeating the word “guilty” 34 times to echo the findings of guilt by a Manhattan jury in Trump’s hush money and election interference trial, which concluded two weeks ago.

“Guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty.”

“This was what the jury pronounced unanimously on every count,” Schiff added.

Schiff also tied his Republican colleagues directly to Trump, letting them know they too have to pay a price for the former president’s legal problems.

“My Republican colleagues don’t really contest Donald Trump’s guilt, this is the fascinating thing. Their argument is essentially, he should have never been prosecuted. Or they falsely claim it was a political prosecution. Or they falsely claim it should have been a misdemeanor, not a felony,” Schiff said.

“But they don’t contest, not really, that Donald Trump was making hush money payments to a porn star to hide their affair from voters.”

The California Democrat concluded his comments by mocking the GOP for their willingness to accept the most immoral behavior imaginable as long as comes from Donald Trump.

“The party, formally of the moral majority, is now I suppose trying to fashion some kind of immoral majority to reinstate Donald Trump as president.”

Social media stood and applauded Schiff.

Matt Gaetz Attempts To Troll Adam Schiff And Only Succeeds In Owning Himself

Even though he isn’t the least bit skilled at online trolling, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) decided he’d try to do so at the expense of Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who wasn’t reappointed to the House Intelligence Committee by Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy simply because Schiff speaks his mind and was the lead House manager for the first impeachment of disgraced, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) let McCarthy know what he thought of his refusal to appoint Schiff and Eric Swalwell (D-CA) to the Intelligence Committee in a letter, noting:

“It is my understanding that you intend to break with the longstanding House tradition of deference to the minority party Intelligence Committee recommendations and deny seats to Ranking Member Schiff and Representative Swalwell. The denial of seats to duly elected Members of the House Democratic Caucus runs counter to the serious and sober mission of the Intelligence Committee.”

McCarthy’s recalcitrance is bad politics, bad optics, and bad for the national security of the United States.

Gaetz, however, who remains under investigation for allegedly taking an underage girl across state lines, having sex with her, and then paying her to remain silent, couldn’t resist adding his voice to the matter, posting this in response to a tweet asking what Schiff’s pronouns are.

If Gaetz had bothered to do a simple Google search, he would have learned that “removed” isn’t a pronoun. According to Dictionary.com, it’s a verb. In some instances, it can be a noun or an adjective, but it’s not a pronoun and never will be. But hey, why let basic knowledge of the English language stand in the way of a social media burn?

But that’s not all Rapey McForehead (a.k.a. Gaetz) neglected to take under consideration before he completely owned himself for the entire internet to see. And it didn’t take long before others have Gaetz a dose of his own medicine.

Adam Schiff Emasculates Kevin McCarthy: ‘He’ll Do What Marjorie Taylor Greene Wants Him To Do’

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) — who will probably be the next Speaker of the House — said Sunday that he plans to remove Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) from the House Intelligence Committee.

During an interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, McCarthy remarked:

“Eric Swalwell cannot get a security clearance in the public sector. Why would we ever give him a security clearance in the secrets to America? So I will not allow him to be on Intel. You have Adam Schiff, who had lied to the American public time and again. We will not allow him to be on the Intel Committee either.”

But rather than whine about McCarthy’s threat, Schiff calmly told Jonathan Karl of ABC News that the would-be Speaker won’t be running things even though he may carry the title of Speaker of the House.

“Well, I suspect he will do whatever Marjorie Taylor Greene wants him to do. He is a very weak leader of his conference, meaning that he will adhere to the wishes of the lowest common denominator. And if that lowest common denominator wants to remove people from committees, that’s what they’ll do.

“It’s going to be chaos with the Republican leadership and sadly, the kind of the crazy caucus has grown among the Republicans. Many Republicans who won primaries in deeply red districts are coming to Congress like the Marjorie Taylor Greenes and Paul Gosars and it’s a tragedy for the country.”

Schiff is right: The extremists will be in charge when Republicans take control of the House in January. Greene, Lauren Boebert, and other nutjobs are going to be calling the shots, with McCarthy allowing them to do whatever they want, no matter how absurd.

Thankfully, there’s another election just two years away, and we hand the House, Senate, and White House to the responsible party and truly make this country great.
