Now that he’s no longer in Congress and has been forced to withdraw his name for consideration as Donald Trump’s next attorney general, Matt Gaetz is trying to make a few bucks to help support his vices (i.e. paying underage girls to remain silent after he sleeps with them).
But the only paying gig Matty could find turns out to be so cringe-inducing that the internet hasn’t stopped laughing.
So if you have a few hundred bucks sitting around, you can give it to Gaetz and he’ll make a video for you on Cameo, according to NBC News.
There, he’s been doling out paid holiday wishes, marriage congratulations and career pep talks. As of Sunday night, Gaetz is charging a minimum of $550 per video, which so far have averaged about a minute and a half in length.
“I served in Congress,” his Cameo page reads, alluding to his recent resignation and subsequent announcement that he does not plan to retake his House seat. “Trump nominated me to be US Attorney General (that didn’t work out). Once I fired the House Speaker.”
Not long after he announced his Cameo deal, the mockery began.
