Your Tax Refund Could Be Delayed Indefinitely Because Elon Musk Is ‘Auditing’ The IRS

Almost two-thirds of American taxpayers receive a tax refund from the Internal Revenue Service each year, but those cherished refund checks could wind up being delayed this year thanks to Elon Musk, chairman of the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Why? Because Musk and his cadre of young computer nerds who assist him at DOGE are currently “auditing” the IRS, and that could spell problems for anyone waiting on a refund.

“The Trump administration and Musk’s DOGE, which the president has tapped to shrink the size of the federal government, have been cutting thousands of federal jobs in the past few weeks. DOGE, which recently faced widespread condemnation for its unfettered access to sensitive documents, is now ready to review the IRS operations after President Donald Trump authorized its audit on Thursday,” Newsweek reports.

DOGE member Gavin Kliger was seen at the IRS on Thursday.

“An IRS employee told The Wall Street Journal that Kliger seemed interested in the agency’s headcount and asked for meetings with senior IRS officials. The agency, in the midst of the busiest time of tax filing season, has about 100,000 workers.”

The fact that Musk’s associates are now meddling around inside the IRS isn’t sitting well with some in Washington. Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) complained, “My office is hearing that DOGE is now at the IRS. That means Musk’s henchmen are in a position to dig through a trove of data about every taxpayer in America. And if your refund is delayed, they could very well be the reason.”

Could Musk and his henchmen close the IRS altogether? Grifter-in-Chief Trump had this to say when asked: “No, I don’t expect it. But I think the Internal Revenue Service will be looked at like everybody else. Just about everybody is going to be looked at.”

Considering that both Musk and Trump are known for being monumental fuck-ups, you might want to wait on any major purchases until you’re certain that anticipated tax return is credited to your account.

Trump Claims ‘New Theory’ Of Magnets Is Proof Of Government Fraud In Bizarre White House Rant

Waste, fraud, and abuse are rampant in the federal government, according to Nutjob-in-Chief Donald Trump, and he says that a “new theory” of magnets is proof that he’s right.

A reporter asked Trump how he could be certain that Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency was actually cutting federal spending in ways that would benefit the country.

“There’s tremendous fraud,” Trump asserted. “And it’s hard to believe that you can have that kind of fraud… What we’re going to do is, tomorrow I’m having a news conference. I’m going to read to you some of the names that hundreds of millions and even billions of dollars have been given to.”

“And if you tell me that we should be giving money to those things, those entities, I think you’ll probably have to leave as a reporter because you’re not very talented,” he told a reporter. “When you look at the kind of money, billions and billions of dollars being thrown away illegally.”

Aircraft manufacturer Boeing has committed fraud, Trump claimed without providing a shred of proof.

“You know, Boeing, we’re not happy with the service we’re getting in terms of those planes. Look at — take a look at the Gerald Ford, the aircraft carrier, the Ford. It was supposed to cost $3 billion. It ends up costing like $18 billion.”

“And they have all magnetic elevators to lift up 25 planes at a time, 20 planes at a time,” Trump continued. “And instead of using hydraulics, like on tractors that can handle anything from hurricanes to lightning to anything, they use magnets.”

“It’s a new theory. Magnets are going to lift the planes up and it doesn’t work. And they had billions and billions of dollars of cost overruns.”

Congratulations, America. You’re being led by a raving lunatic who thinks magnets are evil. Does anyone have a net we can drop over this cabbage-headed mental patient?

Trump Says If He ‘Saves’ The Country He Can ‘Violate’ Any Law He Wants

Perhaps suffering from a guilty conscience as a result of the unconscionable evil he plans to unleash on the United States, Felon-in-Chief Donald Trump is now openly declaring that he can “violate” any law he wants as long as he manages to “save” the country in the process.

In a short posting he made this afternoon on social media, the twice-impeached criminal who currently serves as American head of state told the world, “He who saves his Country does not violate any Law.”

What Trump neglected to add is that he stole the line from one of the worst dictators in world history, Napoleon Bonaparte. And considering the fate that befell Napoleon, he might not be the ideal choice of a leader to emulate.

How terrible was the reign of Napoleon? Consider this fact: It’s estimated that anywhere between 3 and 6.5 million people died under his rule, including 1.3 million residents of France.

Napoleon was also a megalomaniac dictator who ended freedom of the press and freedom of association. Oh, and he also destroyed nearly all of the government reforms that had been won by the French people after the revolution that overthrew King Louis XVI.

And we have Donald Trump invoking the memory of a dictator as he begins his own tyrannical rule of the United States with mass deportations, legal attacks on the LBGTQ community, and attempting to impose religious fundamentalism on the populace at a time when many Americans are growing sick and tired of the bigotry and intolerance Christian extremism is preaching from the pulpit and hoping to make the law of the land.

Trump was also hit with plenty of backlash on social media, where people reminded him that he is and will always be a criminal, no matter what he tries to make us believe.

‘Really Upset’ Trump Makes Strange Announcement After His Team Loses Super Bowl

Grifter-in-Chief Donald Trump proved yet again Sunday that his knowledge of sports and who will win big games is almost as legendarily pathetic as his so-called head for business.

Before Super Bowl LIX ever kicked off, Trump sat down with Fox News anchor Bret Baier and was asked who he thought would win the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.

“I hate to do it. I just say that I’ve watched this great quarterback (Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs) who has, by the way, a phenomenal wife,” Trump said. “Okay. She’s a Trump fan! She’s a MAGA fan!  So I happen to love her. Okay. But she’s a great person. I watched her big interview and I said, well, it’s pretty good. But she’s great and he’s great. I guess you have to say that when a quarterback wins as much as this one, I have to go with Kansas City. I have to go with Kansas City. At the same time, Philadelphia has a fantastic — it’s going to be just a great game.”

The Chiefs were blown out by the Eagles, 40-22, and the game was never close.

Shortly after Philly won, Trump announced on social media that he was ordering the U.S. Treasury to stop producing pennies.

“For far too long the United States has minted pennies which literally cost us more than 2 cents. This is so wasteful!” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “I have instructed my Secretary of the US Treasury to stop producing new pennies. Let’s rip the waste out of our great nations budget, even if it’s a penny at a time.”

As with everything Trump says, a fact-check is required.

Does it really cost more to produce a penny than the coin is worth? Yes, it does.

“The main argument against the penny is the one made by Trump: it costs more to make than its value. A 2024 U.S. Mint report says the unit cost for the one-cent coin is more than 3.69 cents and has exceeded its face value for 19 years. And according to a 2014 U.S. Mint report: ‘There are no alternative metal compositions that reduce the manufacturing unit cost of the penny below its face value.'” 

“Producing pennies also takes a toll on the environment due to the carbon dioxide emissions, pollutants, and energy use associated with mining the ores to make the coins.”

However, the timing of Trump’s penny declaration struck many as misdirected anger on his behalf, and it led to mockery online.

Jim Jordan: Trump Can Ignore Rulings From Judges Because He Was ‘Elected’

If there was any remaining doubt that Republicans are ready, willing, and able to install Felon-in-Chief Donald Trump as an all-powerful dictator answerable to no one, it was burned to the ground and ceremonially stomped on by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) during an appearance on CNN this morning.

“Inside Politics” host Manu Raju pointedly asked Jordan about a recent ruling from a federal judge on Trump’s plan to try and end birthright citizenship via executive order.

“I’m talking about, there’s a pattern where judges are saying they’re going too far on these issues,” Raju noted.

“All I know is, again, Article Two, Section One, the very first sentence, ‘The executive power shall be vested in a president,'” Jordanreplied, citing the Constitution. “I think it’s important, ‘a president of the United States of America,’ not in bureaucrats, not in career people — in the president. The guy who put his name on the ballot.”

“This is a fundamental difference we have with the left. The left thinks, ‘Oh, it’s the career experts who make the decisions,’ Jordan added. “That’s not how our country works. It’s the guy who puts his name on the ballot, gets elected by ‘We the people.’ He gets to make the decisions, or she gets to make the decisions. That’s how — we don’t want the Faucis of the world and all the people in the bureaucracy making the decisions. We want the guy who puts their name on the ballot and gets elected by the American people.”

“But, you guys are elected, too, you know, co-equal branch of the government,” Raju reminded Jordan.

We the People also means the judges and others in government who serve as invaluable checks and balances on the power of the other branches. The Founding Fathers saw what a king or dictator can do when he has unchecked power. That’s why they started a revolution to break away from England and form a nation with a new system of government where one person doesn’t have unlimited power.

If Jordan and the GOP want to live in a country where one man has all the say on every matter, they need to pack up their shit and move to Russia. And they need to take Trump with them.
