Claire McCaskill Has A Thanksgiving Message Of Resistance Every American Needs To Hear

Former Missouri Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill said yesterday that as the country celebrates Thanksgiving this year, we must remember we are all the strongest guardrails that will help keep Donald Trump in check after he takes office next year.

McCaskill, along with former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele, appeared on “Deadline: White House” to discuss Trump’s cabinet picks and his demand that everyone who serves in his administration sign a loyalty pledge to him instead of the Constitution.

“They pledge loyalty to him. Constitution be damned. This isn’t about the Constitution. They’re signing the agreement telling you we’re not using the FBI; we don’t want to do background checks. Quite frankly, it doesn’t really matter. I mean, the stuff that is coming out, I mean, blackmail, talk — what else could I blackmail you with other than a 17-year-old, you know, hanging out with a 17-year-old girl?” Steele noted.

Steele was referring to the allegations against former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), who was forced to withdraw his name from consideration as the next attorney general because he allegedly slept with underage girls and then paid them off so they would remain silent.

“I don’t hear a human cry from the U.S. Senate Republicans about the kind of people he’s putting up,” said Steele. “They’re trying to find peace with it. … They’re trying to make excuses for it.”

Steele also lamented that it seems the American people have given up trying to resist Trump and his band of criminals.

“I don’t know what more they can tell us. The public doesn’t seem to be outraged by it. I don’t hear people calling in and writing and saying, ‘What is Donald Trump doing? We didn’t vote for this!’ This is exactly what they voted for!”

McCaskill then joined the conversation, urging us to stay engaged and refuse to surrender.

“Here’s what I want to implore everyone in two days before Thanksgiving, as we all are looking for something to be grateful for at this important holiday that is all about family, we can’t give up,” she said. “I get it, the people want to turn it all off. I get it that this roller coaster of depression and anger and frustration going back to depression and anger and frustration over what the people of America decided a few weeks ago.”

The United States has faced numerous challenges in the past and there “have been low points, but it doesn’t mean they turned it off. It meant they turned up the heat. And I think that’s what needs to happen here.”

REVEALED: Young Trump Aide Tells Him In Fawning Screeds, ‘You Are All That Matters To Me’

Though you’ve probably never heard of her, Natalie Harp is a 33-year-old former “anchor” at the right-wing One America News Network who is now primed to secure a job as part of the next Trump administration, largely, it appears, because he writes him fawning missives telling him that he’s the only thing in the world that matters to her.

That’s according to a report from the New York Times, which notes that Harp was suffering from bone cancer in 2019 when Trump signed the Right to Try law that allowed her to receive experimental treatment for the illness. She was also invited to speak at the 2020 Republican National Convention.

Since leaving her gig at One America News, Harp, who has been dubbed the “human printer” for feeding positive media reports to Trump, has also managed much of his formal correspondence and social media presence.

Oh, and Harp also writes mash notes to Trump in which she declares her undying loyalty to him.

“You are all that matters to me,” Harp proclaimed in one of the letters. “I don’t ever want to let you down.”

Harp refers to Trump as her “Guardian and Protector in this Life.”

Not creepy enough? As you can see from her photo, Harp also bears more than a passing resemblance to Trump’s daughter, Melania, whom he once said he had sexual thoughts about when she was only 13 years old.

The president-elect refers to Harp as “sweetie” and treats her like a daughter, insiders told the Times.

In another letter, Harp told Trump,  “I want to bring you joy, to feel like we can get through a day without ever having to talk ‘work.’”

However, Harp might want to watch her back no matter what job she manages to secure when Trump takes office in January, because other staffers are said to be worried about some of the data she gives to him that he later spouts in public without bothering to fact-check it first.

Then again, Trump has never been big on facts or reality. All he wants is to have his massive ego stroked. That’s one role that Harp appears to fulfill to cult member perfection.

WATCH: Trump Makes Creepy Remark When He Sees A Young Black Girl With An Afro

Donald Trump loves to say that he’s the “least racist” person in the world, despite having made numerous remarks over the years that suggest the exact opposite.

And now we have the disgraced president-elect saying something incredibly disgusting to a young black girl, and a video of his remarks is going viral on social media.

Republicans Against Trump shared the video on Twitter/X, along with this comment:

This is so freaking creepy and weird. Trump to a little Black girl at his golf club: “I love that girl. I love that hair. I want her hair. Can I buy your hair? I’ll pay you millions for that.”

As you can see, the girl has an afro, which prompts Trump’s comment.

Does it seem appropriate for a white man to say such a thing to a young black girl? Speaking only for myself, if Trump, as a known sexual deviant, said anything to my daughter, I’d be ready to get in his face and tell him to shut his mouth.

Many agreed with me and suggested that Donald showed his true self with such remarks.

Nervous Conservatives Beg Biden To Give Trump A Pardon Before He Leaves Office

Now that President Joe Biden has less than two months remaining in office, some conservatives are actively campaigning for him to hand Donald Trump a presidential pardon on his way out the door.

Of course, it seems odd that anyone who supports Trump would think he needs a pardon. After all, haven’t they always said that he didn’t do anything wrong?

In an op-ed they penned for the Washington Post, Marc Thiessen and Danielle Pletka of the American Enterprise Institute suggest that Biden could help heal the nation with a pardon.

“From a legal standpoint, Trump does not need a presidential pardon. Special counsel Jack Smith is in the process of shutting down his federal investigations. If Smith does not close his cases, Trump can simply fire him the second he takes office. At the state level, Biden has no pardon power, but the cases against Trump appear to be falling apart,” they write.

Then why should Biden issue a pardon that isn’t even needed? According to Thiessen and Pletka, it would unify the country and help us all heal.

“Absent decisive action, we could find ourselves at the start of a vicious cycle, in which Republicans now argue they are justified in weaponizing the justice system to go after Democrats, and Democrats then feel free to retaliate when they regain power — sending the country spiraling into a miasma of partisan litigation.”

Even though Biden said in 2020 that he would never pardon Trump, the two conservatives say he should reconsider, quoting his victory speech when he defeated Trump: “To everything there is a season — a time to build, a time to reap, a time to sow. And a time to heal. This is the time to heal in America.”

If Biden was sincere when he spoke those words, they conclude, “history can still record that, in the waning days of his presidency, Joe Biden finally delivered on that promise.”

Sorry, Marc and Danielle, but if anyone gets a pardon from President Biden as he walks out of the Oval Office for the last time, it should be Hunter Biden. Do you know why? To piss off all of the douchebags on the right.

Here’s How Joe Biden Is ‘Trump-proofing’ His Accomplishments And Legacy

As Donald Trump continues to name members of his cabinet and prepares to take office in less than two months, President Joe Biden and his administration are also actively working to guarantee that the incoming Trump team can’t destroy some of their biggest accomplishments and tarnish the legacy that Biden will be remembered for when history books are written in the coming decades.

The Financial Times reports that the Biden team is working overtime to spend billions of dollars that Congress has already approved to keep Trump from clawing back the money or allocating it to other projects.

One of those is the $39 billion allocated as financial incentives for semiconductor manufacturing plants throughout the U.S., which is part of the CHIPS and Science Act. That funding is expected to create over 115,000 manufacturing jobs in several states.

According to Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo, her agency is working overtime and weekends to spend CHIPS and Science Act funds as soon as possible since Republicans have hinted they may try to cancel the funding as soon as Trump takes the oath of office on January 20, 2025.

“The CHIPS team has announced preliminary agreements with two dozen companies for CHIPS awards, and over the next two months, plans to announce preliminary agreements for all $39 billion of that funding, and is well on its way towards securing final agreements for many of those entities [where] preliminary awards were announced,” a White House official revealed.

There’s also the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which Earthjustice has hailed as “the largest climate spending bill ever.” It contains $369 billion in clean energy subsidies that Trump has vowed to repeal, even though that may not be as easy as he thinks. Many Republican states are using those funds to start or upgrade clean energy programs and will be reluctant to let go of them.

And then there’s Ukraine.

Biden is trying to get some $7 billion in additional military assistance to Kiev as soon as possible, especially since Trump is known to be buddies with Russian President Vladimir Putin and will likely try to deny Ukraine any further U.S. aid once he takes office.

But perhaps Biden’s most lasting legacy will be on the federal courts, where the White House is urging Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to push through as many Biden nominees as he possibly can before Trump is sworn in.

A White Hosue official told the Financial Times, “We’ve been working with [Senate Democrats] very, very closely to get as many of the president’s nominees confirmed because he believes that he wants to leave a lasting impact on the judiciary.”

Granted, another four years of Trump as president will likely be chaotic and disastrous, but as he leaves office, President Biden hopes to minimize the damage his successor can do.
