Did you know that Democrats are trying to make it impossible for American schoolchildren to read the U.S. Constitution?
That’s the latest BS conspiracy theory being circulated over at Fox News (a.k.a. the Alternative Facts Network) by the dimwitted hosts of Fox & Friends Weekend.
Co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy reported that a bill in the Idaho state legislature would require schools to teach cursive writing to elementary students.
“So you guys, I didn’t realize this is a generational thing,” Campos-Duffy said. “I talked to our producers, who are a lot younger than us. And they said some of them don’t write in cursive, and they don’t even know how.”
That led co-host Peter Doocy to add that former president Joe Biden reportedly had “bad” cursive handwriting.
“But you know, one of my favorite conspiracy theories, and I kind of believe it, is that the reason Democrats don’t want people to learn how to write cursive is so they can’t read the actual Constitution,” co-host Charlie Hurt suggested.
Campos-Duffy: “Oh, that’s a good one!”
“Like when they’re on a tour of Independence Hall.. this could be ‘National Treasure Three,'” Doocy suggested. “Oh, I’m here. And I want to steal the document. But I don’t know which one is right exactly.”
“You know who’s — who’s cursive handwriting is [great]?” Campos-Duffy inquired. “It’s Donald Trump. Have you ever seen his signature?”
Hurt: “He’s old school.”
Yeah, Trump’s signature is a bunch of pointed lines that look like the sort of hoods worn by members of the Ku Klux Klan, so it’s no wonder that the clowns at Fox and members of the MAGA movement love it so damn much.
