Even though she’s only been in the House of Representatives since 2023, Democratic Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett has quickly made a name for herself as a person who isn’t afraid to lead the resistance to Felon–in-Chief Donald Trump and his unelected henchman, Elon “Voldemort” Musk, who is leading the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), even though Congress has not created or funded such a department.
About a week a half ago, Crockett doled out what can best be called a backhanded compliment to Musk on social media, writing, “There’s an immigrant taking people’s jobs. His name is Elon Musk.”
“He’s snatching farms, government jobs (even those in which they manage our national security), and definitely those whose jobs are to root out fraud (inspector generals), & those that are keeping us safe (FAA), meals on wheels workers, head start, and the list goes on, so I’ll be the bigger person and admit to MAGA that I was wrong when I said immigrants wouldn’t take our jobs. You were 1000 percent correct,” Crockett added.
And now Crockett is going viral with a comment she made when asked about Musk on Tuesday.
Specifically, a member of the anti-Trump activist group Call to Action asked the congresswoman what she would say to Musk if she had the opportunity to speak directly with him.
Crockett only needed two words to answer: “Fuck off.”
Reaction to Crockett’s comment were overwhelmingly positive, with some saying she’s exactly the sort of “energy” the Democratic Party needs as it fights to keep Trump and Musk from destroying our representative democracy.
“Well, she is my president now,” writer Daniel Roberts proudly declared.
“She is speaking for all Americans,” commentator Vince Wilson noted.
“We need more Jasmine Crockett and less Marjorie Taylor Greene,” veteran Travis Matthews cheered.
Software engineer Alex Jewell: “This is the energy dems need to bring. Waxing poetically about saving democracy and being polite clearly doesn’t resonate with the right wing NPCs willing to go down with the ship. Let’s not mince words.”
Jasmine Crockett is a rising star in the Democratic Party. Don’t be surprised if you see her on a presidential ticket in the near future.
