Leave it to failed, one-term, twice-impeached former President Donald Trump to ruin a day as special as Mother’s Day.
Mother’s Day is supposed to be set aside for the purpose of honoring mothers and motherhood. But Donald decided to use his message for the purpose of attacking those he doesn’t like, which proves what a soulless sack of monkey spunk the ex-president is.
Posting on Truth Social because he’s still banned from Twitter, here’s what Trump had to say:
That’s totally inappropriate, and would be in just about any situation. But to post that sort of tripe on a day as special as the one we use to honor our mothers is like spitting in the communion cup and then handing it back to the minister.
Also, why didn’t Trump mention his own mother, or at least his current wife, who also happens to be the mother of his youngest son?
Even though he’s an arrogant asshat of a human being, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) wants us all to know that he’s “not a moron.”
Speaking with reporters on Capitol Hill, Cruz insisted that the draft Supreme Court opinion reversing the Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania vs. Casey decisions was leaked by a liberal law clerk working for one of the three progressive justices, though he’s also said he suspects someone in the office of Justice Sonia Sotomayor without providing a shred of evidence to support such a serious accusation.
During a appearance on Fox Business, Cruz laid out his unsubstantiated conspiracy theory, telling host Stuart Varney:
But, when he was confronted by reporters and asked to provide substantiation for his claims, Cruz turned into a snotty little douchebag.
A reporter asked the senator:
“Senator, why do you think you know this was a liberal clerk who leaked this? Do you have information that suggests that?”
Cruz huffily replied:
“Because I’m not a moron. Because I live on planet earth. Because this is obviously an attempt from someone who is unhappy about the direction the Court is going, to put political pressure on the Justices to change their outcome. That is the only reason this gets leaked, and you know that. Come on, you’re a reporter in Washington DC.”
That led the reporter to inquire about the possibility that a conservative might have leaked the opinion because “they supported the original [Roe] decision and want to lock them [the Justices] back in. That’s a completely reasonable scenario, isn’t it?”
Cruz:
The reporter countered:
That led Cruz to retort:
“I think it’s obvious what’s going on here. And, and, and, we’ve all seen leaks often enough in this town, just not at the Supreme Court. This has never happened in any case ever, and it is truly horrifying.”
Actually, it has indeed happened in another case. Ironically, the 1973 Roe v. Wade opinion which gave women the right to make their own reproductive choices was also leaked.
If indeed it can be proven that a conservative leaked the draft, someone needs to play today’s video for Cruz and get his reaction. He might just cry.
Oh, and Ted Cruz is indeed a moron. His own words indict him on that count.
If you thought the speech he gave at the 2020 Republican National Convention was the height of Donald Trump Jr’s alleged substance abuse problems, a new video release by the son of the failed, one-term, twice-impeached former president is setting off new alarm bells.
Here’s the 2020 speech:
Junior’s latest video has him weighing in on the leak of a draft Supreme Court decision which would invalidate the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling that made abortion legal across the United States.
Don Jr’s video, which was posted on Rumble, begins with him waving his hands around excitedly and holding forth on the leaked SCOTUS opinion:
“Well guys, you saw the leak from the Supreme Court, an unprecedented thing. This kind of stuff doesn’t happen. I don’t know that I’m ever aware of a leak. This is not like Congress where everything leaks, and trust me I’ve done enough testimony. Things are leaking during, uh, closed-door hearings. I get it. The Supreme Court doesn’t have leaks. If there’s not a thorough criminal investigation into who leaked privileged documents about a draft decision from the United States Supreme Court – where a small, small, tiny handful of people have access to it – then we live in a clown show state. We live in a clown show state, folks.”
Junior then added (without a shred of proof) that the leak came from a “pissed off leftist” and falsely equated the entire episode to a “general coordinating with communist China, giving Chinese generals examples of what our response would be.”
Near the end of the video, Don Jr. proclaims that “this may be the first time in history that a Supreme Court opinion has leaked. I’m not aware of another time and I dunno that any of you are either.”
Actually, the Roe v. Wade decision was leaked before the court had formally handed it down for public consumption.
In one final, deranged salvo, Don Jr. speculates that the leak was done by “the left” in order to made sure Democrats win the upcoming midterm elections.
It didn’t take long before social media began calling for a full-scale intervention.
Failed, one-term former President Donald Trump loves to mock others when they make a mistake, and yet he proved again on Sunday that if anyone is in need of retiring from the public spotlight to avoid further humiliation, it’s clearly him.
Speaking at a rally in Greenwood, Nebraska, the twice-impeached ex-president went over a partial list of candidates he’s endorsed:
The name he was searching for was J.D. Vance, venture capitalist and “Hillbilly Elegy” author who has no experience in politics. (And it’s Josh Mandel; he’s running against Vance in the GOP primary on May 3.)
And in a case of perfect irony, Trump managed to screw up Vance’s name just minutes after he had bragged about how incredibly intelligent and mentally sharp he is, again referencing the 10-minute mental acuity test administered to him by Dr. Ronny Jackson.
