Right-wing extremist Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) thinks it’s time we change the name of Thanksgiving to honor her political lord and savior, Donald Trump.
According to Greene, the new name for Thanksgiving needs to be “Trumpsgiving,” and she shared this notion on social media for the entire internet to see and scoff at.
As you’d expect, Greene’s fellow MAGA cultists were delighted by her Twitter posting, but critics were not so impressed and let the Georgia Republican know it.
Former Missouri Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill said yesterday that as the country celebrates Thanksgiving this year, we must remember we are all the strongest guardrails that will help keep Donald Trump in check after he takes office next year.
McCaskill, along with former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele, appeared on “Deadline: White House” to discuss Trump’s cabinet picks and his demand that everyone who serves in his administration sign a loyalty pledge to him instead of the Constitution.
“They pledge loyalty to him. Constitution be damned. This isn’t about the Constitution. They’re signing the agreement telling you we’re not using the FBI; we don’t want to do background checks. Quite frankly, it doesn’t really matter. I mean, the stuff that is coming out, I mean, blackmail, talk — what else could I blackmail you with other than a 17-year-old, you know, hanging out with a 17-year-old girl?” Steele noted.
Steele was referring to the allegations against former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), who was forced to withdraw his name from consideration as the next attorney general because he allegedly slept with underage girls and then paid them off so they would remain silent.
“I don’t hear a human cry from the U.S. Senate Republicans about the kind of people he’s putting up,” said Steele. “They’re trying to find peace with it. … They’re trying to make excuses for it.”
Steele also lamented that it seems the American people have given up trying to resist Trump and his band of criminals.
“I don’t know what more they can tell us. The public doesn’t seem to be outraged by it. I don’t hear people calling in and writing and saying, ‘What is Donald Trump doing? We didn’t vote for this!’ This is exactly what they voted for!”
McCaskill then joined the conversation, urging us to stay engaged and refuse to surrender.
“Here’s what I want to implore everyone in two days before Thanksgiving, as we all are looking for something to be grateful for at this important holiday that is all about family, we can’t give up,” she said. “I get it, the people want to turn it all off. I get it that this roller coaster of depression and anger and frustration going back to depression and anger and frustration over what the people of America decided a few weeks ago.”
The United States has faced numerous challenges in the past and there “have been low points, but it doesn’t mean they turned it off. It meant they turned up the heat. And I think that’s what needs to happen here.”
On Thanksgiving, we’re supposed to take time and reflect on the many things we have to be thankful for: Family, friends, freedom.
But if you’re failed former president Donald Trump, you make Thanksgiving all about yourself and your petty grievances.
Here’s what the disgraced ex-president posted on his failing Truth Social site:
“Happy Thanksgiving to ALL, including the Racist & Incompetent Attorney General of New York State, Letitia “Peekaboo” James, who has let Murder & Violent Crime FLOURISH, & Businesses FLEE; the Radical Left Trump Hating Judge, a “Psycho,” Arthur Engoron, who Criminally Defrauded the State of New York, & ME, by purposely Valuing my Assets at a “tiny” Fraction of what they are really worth in order to convict me of Fraud before even a Trial, or seeing any PROOF, & used his Politically Biased & Corrupt Campaign Finance Violator, Chief Clerk Alison Greenfield, to sit by his side on the “Bench” & tell him what to do; & Crooked Joe Biden, who has WEAPONIZED his Department of Injustice against his Political Opponent, & allowed our Country to go to HELL; & all of the other Radical Left Lunatics, Communists, Fascists, Marxists, Democrats, & RINOS, who are seriously looking to DESTROY OUR COUNTRY.”

Since Donnie now posts his Truth Social ramblings on Twitter, other social media users decided to let him know how they felt about his hateful message.
Failed, one-term, twice-impeached former President Donald Trump wants us all to know that we have one thing above all others to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving Day: That he’s still around and is plotting a comeback in 2024.
In other words, he’s just as delusional as ever and thinks we actually want him back in the White House.
Trump released a holiday message via his spokesperson, Liz Harrington, which she posted on Twitter because the Donald no longer has access to any respected social media platform:
“A very interesting time in our Country, but do not worry, we will be great again—and we will all do it together.
“America will never fail, and we will never allow it to go in the wrong direction. Too many generations of greatness are counting on us. Enjoy your Thanksgiving knowing that a wonderful future lies ahead!”
Around the same time, Trump’s Save America PAC sent out this message trying to raise money so Grifter Don can pay his legal bills:
“We have a lot to be thankful for, but unfortunately, RECORD HIGH INFLATION is not one of those things. Biden took the beautiful, strong economy I built and lit it up in flames. The price of your Thanksgiving meal has gone up 14%. Despicable.”
The real reason we should be thankful today is because Donald Trump is no longer president and is under criminal investigation in several jurisdictions. If we’re lucky, by this time next year he’ll be indicted and facing prison.
As for “despicable,” the most despicable thing of all is what the ex-president sees anytime he looks in the mirror.
