South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) took time off Tuesday from killing puppies to try and troll former President Barack Obama, but she only managed to humiliate herself for the entire internet to see.
Obama brought up Noem’s name while campaigning for Vice President Kamala Harris in Madison, Wisconsin, noting that had been onstage with Trump when the disgraced ex-president ended a rally in Pennsylvania and danced to music for nearly 40 minutes last week.
“She’s standing there with this weird look on her face like she doesn’t really know what’s going on. It’s like a hostage video,” Obama said to laughter from supporters at the rally.
That comment severely triggered Noem, who decided she’d try and get her revenge on Twitter/X, posting, “I couldn’t decide if I wanted to make a joke about Obama’s failed presidency…or his being besties with Diddy…or how it’s his fault we have Joe Biden in the first place… Then I remembered I just don’t care what @BarackObama thinks!”
That was all it took to set off a torrent of mockery aimed at the dog killer.
At a jampacked campaign rally in support of Vice President Kamala Harris Thursday evening in Pittsburgh, former President Barack Obama commented on the man who followed him in the White House that went viral in less than an hour and continues to be shared on social media this morning.
Obama praised a proposed tax credit of $6,000 for new parents that’s part of Harris’ economic plan, noting, “She wants to make it easier to afford stuff like a crib, or a car seat or diapers.”
“I remember changing diapers,” he added. He then asked the rallygoers, “Do you think Donald Trump ever changed a diaper?”
The room erupted in laughter when someone in the crowd yelled, “His own!”
“I almost said that but decided I shouldn’t say it,” Obama replied as the audience began laughing and applauding again.
Obama added, “Instead of giving more tax breaks to billionaires and raising prices on working families, Kamala will give a tax cut to 100 million middle-class and working people here in America.”
The former president’s remarks in Pittsburgh clearly struck a nerve with the Trump camp as campaign communications director Steven Cheung fired off an angry response.
“Barack Hussein Obama couldn’t even make a coherent defense of Kamala Harris’ record because even he knows she represents a disastrous four years of skyrocketing inflation, an out-of-control border, and rampant crime that terrorizes communities across the country.”
Nice try, Steven, but that’s not going to make the diaper comment disappear, and it’s likely to increase the damage inflicted by Obama, who remains incredibly popular with the American electorate.
Speaking in Iowa Wednesday, failed one-term, twice-impeached, and multiply-indicted ex-president Donald Trump claimed that the former White House physician, Dr. Ronny Jackson, once told him that he was “healthier” than former President Barack Obama.
William Vaillancourt reports for The Daily Beast that Trump also bragged about his overall mental and physical fitness for office.
“I just took a physical, you’ll be happy to hear… I passed with flying colors. And I took a cognitive exam. I said, ‘Doctor, give me anything you want. I want to take it,’” Trump said, apparently referencing a letter his doctor released in September stating that he had conducted an exam on the 13th of that month.
Like nearly everything Trump says, that’s not completely true.
Dr. Bruce Aronwald, who wrote a short letter regarding Trump’s health, said the former head of state’s cognitive scores were “exceptional” and physically Donald is “well within the normal range.” However, there was no report of what Trump weighed, his blood pressure, cholesterol level, or the medications he may be taking. In other words, it wasn’t exactly a very thorough report, and that’s intentional.
While speaking in Iowa, Trump also claimed that President Joe Biden is cognitively impaired.
But it was what the disgraced former president said when he compared himself to Obama that drew the most attention.
While he was at it, Trump added this tidbit about Jackson: “He said, ‘If he didn’t eat junk food, he’d live to 200 years old.’ That’s my kind of a doctor.”
Should he happen to decline mentally or physically, Trump continued, he’ll know immediately.
“I’ll be the first to know.”
“But I feel that right now I’m sharper than I was 20 years ago, and I don’t know why,” he maintained. “It’s a funny thing, and it’s a very minor thing, but I’m a much better golfer than I was 10 or 15 years ago. It means something, you know? It means something in a certain way.”
Maybe instead of locking Trump up in prison, we need to consider putting him in a straitjacket and letting him live out the rest of his life in a rubber room.
According to right-wing activist and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, the Donald Trump/MAGA movement was created because Republicans were looking for “a white Obama.”
During a podcast at a pastors’ summit on Wednesday, Kirk seemed to admit that the GOP had some blatantly racist motivations when they nominated the failed one-term former president in 2016.
“And Obama got re-elected in 2012, but then Republican voters said, our turn,” he added. “We want a white Obama.”
Only Trump (who suggested that Obama was illegitimate and wasn’t even born in the United States, despite his birth in Hawaii) could fill the bill of a white Obama, Kirk explained:
Donald Trump is the white Obama? That may well be one of the dumbest things to ever ooze from the mouth of a Trump worshiper.
Let’s do a quick compare and contrast:
Obama was about hope and change for the better. Trump was about hatred and taking the country back to the days when blacks weren’t allowed to eat in the same restaurants as whites.
President Obama stressed equality and inclusion. Trump used veiled white nationalism and fear of others to accomplish his rise to the presidency.
Obama is a man of intellect, decency, and kindness. Trump is a lowlife thug who revels in ignorance, preaches division, and loves no one but himself.
Trump humpers think they’ve found the white Obama? All they’ve found is a rehash of George Wallace circa 1963. No wonder they love the evil he represents.
You’ve probably never heard of Pete Santilli. He’s an extremist right-wing broadcaster who was accused of threatening to kill federal law enforcement officials in 2016.
And now Santilli may find himself in big legal trouble yet again as a result of remarks he made Monday about the pending indictment of failed, one-term, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump in Manhattan.
According to Right Wing Watch, Santilli told listeners that if indeed Trump is indicted by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, the U.S. military should arrest and execute former President Barack Obama, former Attorney General Eric Holder, and former National Security Advisor Susan Rice.
“Get the military, whatever few are left that are gonna side with the people,” Santilli insited. “That you military personnel and you people with guns and badges and law enforcement will succumb to the will of the people.”
Santilli added, “Military, join us and put all of them up against a concrete wall… and do what we must do to save not just our country, the entire world.”
Sounds like Pete Santilli needs a visit from the Secret Service. Former President Obama is still under their protection and a threat has just been made against him.
