Capitol Insurrection Donald Trump

Donald Trump May Have Just Created The Ultimate Witness Against Him In The Capitol Insurrection Investigation

Earlier today, failed, one-term, twice-impeached former President Donald Trump pulled his endorsement of Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) in the upcoming Alabama Senate race, alleging that Brooks was too “woke” because he refused to say that the ex-president could still be reinstalled as head of state.

Via his spokesperson, Trump issued a statement which read in part:

“I am hereby withdrawing my Endorsement of Mo Brooks for the Senate. I don’t think the great people of Alabama will disagree with me. Election Fraud must be captured and stopped, or we won’t have a Country anymore. I will be making a new Endorsement in the near future!”

But that decision by Trump could come back to bite him squarely on the ass if Brooks is called before the House Select Committee on the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection and the congressman decides to get some payback on the Donald.

Think about it: Brooks was one of the speakers at the White House on Jan. 6, just hours before the rioting began, telling the crowd:

“Today is the day American patriots start taking down names and kicking ass! Now, our ancestors sacrificed their blood, their sweat, their tears, their fortunes and sometimes their lives … Are you willing to do the same? My answer is yes. Louder! Are you willing to do what it takes to fight for America?”

Legal and political experts began to speculate that Brooks might just be ready to give Trump a dose of his own medicine:

Based on the statement Brooks issued, it certainly sounds like he might want to testify under oath about what he saw and heard on January 6, 2021. Time will tell.
