Mary Trump Reveals What Makes Her Uncle So Incredibly ‘Creepy’

If there’s one word that best describes failed former president Donald Trump, according to former Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, it’s “creepy,” especially when it comes to how utterly subservient he is to Russian president and war criminal Vladimir Putin.

During a panel discussion, Turnbull noted that around Putin, Trump is “like the 12-year-old boy who goes to high school and meets the captain of the football team. ‘My hero.’ It’s really creepy.”

That led CNN’s Christiane Amanpour to ask Trump’s niece, Mary, about what in her uncle’s past might have led him to act in such a way.

“I’m really stunned by how what you said and I didn’t know what you’re going to say about his childhood matched exactly what a former prime minister of Australia witnessed.”

Mary Trump replied, “Yeah, and I think what’s important to know, that most people certainly wouldn’t, it is really no laughing matter when at that point the leader of the free world is being described as a pre-pubescent child with a crush on an older, more powerful person. What the consequences are.”

“It’s not simply that Donald knew that by fulfilling his father’s demands to be the quote, unquote killer, to be the successful one, it was understanding what would happen to him if he failed to do those things because he had an object lesson in my father, who was quite literally destroyed by his inability to fill the role my grandfather required of him,” she added.

Donald Trump is obsessed with Putin. And that alone means he’s unfit to serve as president of the United States again.

Why Did Trump Suddenly Abandon His New York Fraud Trial? Mary Trump Explains

On Wednesday, failed former president Donald Trump acted like a petulant toddler and suddenly decided he would no longer attend the ongoing New York fraud trial that could cost him hundreds of millions of dollars in fines and penalties.

Business Insider reports:

“I’d rather be right now in Iowa,” Trump said in a parting shot to reporters at the start of the lunch break, midway through the trial’s first week.

“I’m stuck here because I have a corrupt attorney general who communicates with the Justice Department to keep me busy,” he said, leaving the third-floor courtroom, where the future of his real-estate empire is set to be decided over the next two to three months.

What prompted the disgraced one-term, twice-impeached ex-head of state to suddenly leave the proceedings after two days of scowling and threatening comments about the presiding judge?

According to the Donald’s niece, Mary Trump, it’s all about the embarrassment.

Writing on her Substack newsletter, she noted:

“He showed up in New York voluntarily because he knew how important this fraud trial is not only to his reputation but to the core of his own beliefs about who he is.”

“He left because he knew nothing he did—the pouting, the angry stares, the media hits—was working.”

“That plus the humiliation of falling off the Forbes 400 were too much for him to take.”

Trump had also said that he would testify at some point in the trial, though that seems highly unlikely. Even if he does, it’s likely he’ll cling to his Fifth Amendment privilege and refuse to say anything for fear it would open him up to even more charges.

Absolutely nothing is going well for Trump right now. He’s on the verge of being flat broke and possibly headed to prison. No wonder he doesn’t want to show his face in public.

Mary Trump Lays Out How Donald’s GOP Primary Opponents Can ‘Humiliate’ Him During A Debate

Mary Trump, the niece of twice-impeached former president Donald Trump, said Sunday she has some free advice for Republicans who want to best her uncle in the upcoming GOP primary debates: Go for the jugular and find ways to “humiliate” the failed one-term ex-POTUS.

During an appearance on MSNBC’s “The Katie Phang Show” Sunday, Mary said she didn’t understand why her uncle’s political opponents haven’t already gone the low road to destroy Donald.

“Again, I think it’s because they’re restrained by their fear of his stranglehold on the base — I guess they should be,” she explained “You know, if they were serious people, they would understand that they have a huge opportunity to take Donald out without having to contradict him in terms of policy as if there is such a thing these days or politics.”

“Just call him what he is: he is a loser, he loses constantly, he has never legitimately won anything in his life,” she continued. “He is a thin-skinned baby who has nothing to offer but white grievance.”

She then recalled a scene from Donald Trump’s youth that she said someone needs to say to his face.

“If I were one of these candidates, I would simply show up to a debate with a bowl of mashed potatoes because that was his very first experience of humiliation was when he was being a total brat before my grandmother put dinner on the table,” she explained. “My dad had just ordered to shut him up and stop him from tormenting his little brother Robert. Took a bowl of mashed potatoes, dumped it on Donald’s head.”

“He hates that story,” she told Phang. “He has never been able to laugh at himself in a healthy way. It’s really not difficult to get under that extraordinarily thin skin of his.”
