Former Staffer: Some Republicans Already Consider Trump To Be A ‘Lame Duck’ President

A top staffer who briefly worked in the first Trump administration says there are more than a few Republicans in Congress who see Donald as little more than a “lame duck” president who can be challenged on many fronts because he’s weaker than he was during his first term.

Anthony Scaramucci explained that the abrupt withdrawal of Matt Gaetz’s nomination to be attorney general proves that some in the GOP will not bow down to Trump and let him run roughshod over them.

“Obviously, a lot of the things that [former] Rep. Gaetz did was disqualifying, but I think the tide has changed a little bit,” Scaramucci said during an appearance on CNN. “I think there’s been a shapeshift by the Republicans in the Senate. You know, they see Trump as a lame duck. They know there’s one more election that he can have lots of influence on, which is the congressional election in two years, and I think they are fortifying themselves to block some of the things that he’s done in the past, and so the Trump season, you know, this is ‘The Apprentice: White House Edition’ season two. I think the cast members up on Capitol Hill are ready for Donald Trump this time. I don’t think they were as prepared as they are now, and I think the messaging [to Gaetz] was, behind closed doors: ‘You’re not going to make it, don’t embarrass the president and withdraw.'”

Other nominees could face the same disgraceful end as Gaetz, Scaramucci predicted.

“Now, the other questions are, you know, about some of these other candidates,” Scaramucci said. “Well, Pete Hegseth ended up having to do the same thing, and I will predict if there’s more information about Pete that comes out, he’ll be No. 2 to go that way. But I think Pam Bondi, by the way, will do well. Pam Bondi says the things that Donald Trump likes to hear, but she won’t do the things that Donald Trump likes to do, and so I think that’s someone that respects the system, and I think she’ll get it. I think she’ll get through.”

Missing In Action Vance Ridiculed As A Flunky Who ‘Can’t Find Himself A Seat At The Cool Kids’ Table’

Has anyone seen Vice President-elect J.D. Vance recently? Come to think of it, has anyone seen him since Election Day nearly three weeks ago? He’s become as scarce as the infamous Waldo, and no one can find him.

Who has been making public appearances with Donald Trump in Vance’s place? Twitter CEO Elon Musk, which is weird because he hasn’t been elected to anything at all.

What in the hell is going on here? Well, it’s all part of Musk and Trump’s larger plans for who will wield power and influence in the second Trump administration, according to former Republican National Committee chair Michael Steele, who currently works as a host on MSNBC and writes in an opinion piece for the network, “America is witnessing what happens when a private citizen amasses power solely based on their proximity to the president of the United States.”

Musk’s rise comes at Vance’s expense, Steele continues.

“As for Trump’s actual incoming vice president, he just can’t find himself a seat at the cool kids’ table.”

If anyone needed visual proof that Musk is now working as Trump’s unofficial Veep, they wouldn’t have to look any further than a photo that made waves on social media almost a week ago.

“Last weekend, Trump shared a picture of his inner circle on his private plane enjoying McDonald’s,” Steele observes. “Trump was surrounded by Musk; his son Don Jr.; House Speaker Mike Johnson; and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Not pictured: Vance.”

Also consider that Musk has been given one of the most powerful jobs in the incoming administration, one which will potentially allow him to recommend cutting billions of dollars in federal spending.

“The Tesla founder will oversee a wholly made-up ‘Department of Government Efficiency‘ alongside Vivek Ramaswamy. How dumb is that? They are creating an agency to get rid of other agencies.”

Vance, on the other hand, is stuck doing all the shit jobs for Trump, including trying to get his Senate colleagues to vote for Donald’s pathetic appointees, including former Rep. Matt Gaetz, who was supposed to be the next attorney general but had to withdraw his name from consideration as more evidence surfaced suggesting that he allegedly paid dozens of underage girls to sleep with him, which is the only way the Florida Republican can get any non-comatose woman to share an intimate encounter with him.

“Vance was given the thankless task of convincing Senate Republicans to confirm Trump’s menagerie of misfit MAGA sycophants to the Cabinet,” Steele wrote. “While Musk is sitting in on phone calls with Trump, Vance wasted his time trying to convince his fellow Republican senators to back Matt Gaetz, just a day before Gaetz withdrew his nomination for attorney general. That must be the worst assignment for a vice president since President Joe Biden charged Vice President Kamala Harris with solving the root causes of global migration.”

So what will become of VP Vance? Steele suggests that may well be up to Musk in the long run because it’s clear J.D. is not part of Trump’s inner circle.

“Vance is just along for the ride — if only he could get in the car.”

Trump’s Latest ‘Limited Edition’ Grift Costs $10,000 And Is Getting Him Mercilessly Mocked

Con Man Don is back with a vengeance, and this time he’s hawking signed guitars for $10,000 a pop to the moronic MAGA sheep who always seem to have plenty of cash when it comes to buying worthless items as long as they’re endorsed by their tangerine-tinted lord and savior.

According to Mediaite, the twice-impeached president-elect announced his latest grift on another of his failed business ventures, Truth Social.

“These beautiful guitars feature the iconic phrase ‘Make America Great Again’ inlaid in authentic pearl up the neck of the guitar and the number 45 on the headstock signifying President Donald J. Trump’s historic term as President,” the company declared, adding that all stock would “arrive in time for Christmas.”

How much are the guitars? Well, the most basic model will set you back a cool $1,000, but if you really want to prove your fealty to the con man, there are other versions.

For a whopping $10,000, supporters of the president-elect can purchase one of the “Signature Edition” guitars. These guitars appear to be exactly the same as the “American Eagle series” guitars, but with the addition of Trump’s signature for an extra $8,500.

$10,000 for a guitar just because it’s signed by Mango Mussolini? That’s even steep for one that has Eric Clapton’s autograph, and at least he can play the damn thing!

As you’d expect, Twitter had fun mocking Donnie and reminding him that he’s nothing but a huckster.

This guy is the President-elect and he’s out here hocking shitty products like he’s stuck with the 3 AM shift at the Home Shopping Network…

Donald Trump Social Media WTF?!

Video Circulating Online Leaves People Wondering If Trump Just Had Plastic Surgery

It’s redundant to suggest that something very strange is going on with Donald Trump, but a video shared on social media Tuesday is causing a major online debate about whether or not the twice-impeached president-elect may have had plastic surgery.

The video in question shows Trump standing next to Twitter/X CEO Elon Musk as they watch a rocket launched by Musk’s SpaceX company.

Reuters reported on the launch:

Elon Musk’s SpaceX launched its giant Starship rocket to space from Texas on Tuesday, advancing the ship’s spaceflight abilities but botching an attempt to bring its booster back to land as U.S. President-elect Donald Trump watched from the company’s rocket facilities.

The roughly 400-foot-tall (122-meter-tall) rocket system, designed to land astronauts on the moon and ferry crews to Mars, lifted off at 4 p.m. CT (2200 GMT) from SpaceX’s sprawling rocket development site in Boca Chica, Texas.

And here’s the video of Trump with Musk:

Is that really Trump, or someone wearing a Trump mask, sort of like the ones you see in the “Mission: Impossible” movies? Or did Donnie visit Melania’s plastic surgeon and have some work done to make himself look younger as he prepares for another term in office?

Commentary varied from mockery to conspiracy theories.

A Third Term As POTUS For Trump? Legal Experts Say It Could Happen

Earlier today, the New York Times published an interesting article by Neil Vigdor entitled, “No, Trump Cannot Run for Re-election Again in 2028.”

According to Vigdor, Donald Trump is barred from seeking a third term in the White House because the U.S. Constitution was amended in 1951 to bar such a thing from happening. This came after Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected to four terms in office.

The 22nd Amendment to the Constitution, which was ratified in 1951, says that “no person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice.”

Kimberly Wehle, who teaches constitutional law at the University of Baltimore and wrote a book titled “How to Read the Constitution — and Why,” said that the measure left no ambiguity and was intended to place a check on the president.

“There was a concern about entrenching power in a kinglike manner,” she said.

Trump cannot run a third time for the presidency, right? Well, when you consider that he has willfully violated just about every existing rule already, is it safe to assume he wouldn’t try to buck the Constitution itself and make himself president for life?

Legal experts weighed in on the issue, with many noting that Trump thinks the law applies to everyone but him.

The Constitution also says he requires the "advise & consent" of the Senate to approve his nominations.

Joyce Vance (@joycewhitevance.bsky.social) 2024-11-18T13:05:03.320Z

Joyce is right to be skeptical. Criminals find ways around inconvenient laws, and in Trump’s case, the Constitution. He violated the Emoluments Clause with no consequences. He’s getting away with violating criminal laws because of SCOTUS. But (continue to next)

Jill Wine-Banks (@jillwine-banks.bsky.social) 2024-11-18T15:22:18.756Z

this is even worse because if he gets away with recess appointments, it destroys the foundation of our democracy

Jill Wine-Banks (@jillwine-banks.bsky.social) 2024-11-18T15:22:18.757Z

Sounds like a potential future case for the U.S. Supreme Court, doesn’t it? However, it’s currently controlled by a 6-3 conservative majority that recently gave American presidents criminal immunity for “official acts.” Does anyone think they’d rule against Trump?

Maybe Trump will simply declare himself Supreme Dictator and then fulfill his wish of being the 21st century’s Adolf Hitler. What could possibly go wrong?
