‘Bootlicker’ Jim Jordan Gets A Thorough Mocking After Posting One-Word ‘Trump’ Tweet

For some reason known only to him, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) thought it would be a good day to kiss failed, one-term former President Donald Trump’s fat ass, but his efforts only succeeded in getting him mocked and ridiculed on Twitter.

Oddly, the tweet Jordan sent out was just the ex-president’s last name:

What in the hell is that all about? Is it just an attempt to provoke people? Is it some sort of code that only the MAGA morons understand? Or could it be that Jim has simply run out of material for his social media account?

Fortunately, others on Twitter were more than equal to the challenge, and they lit up Jordan in some incredibly original and hilarious ways. Take a look:

Historian Says Putin Misjudged The Resolve Of NATO On Ukraine Because ‘He Was Listening To Trump’

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine isn’t going well, and a Pulitzer Prize-winning historian says that’s because he listened to Trump and thought NATO didn’t have the resolve to stand up to him.

Historian Anne Applebaum said Wednesday on CNN that Putin has long wanted to weaken the NATO alliance, and Trump’s feckless actions and policies led him to believe the Western powers wouldn’t be willing to defend Ukraine:

“Yes, I think Putin was listening to Trump’s denunciations of NATO and he imagined NATO was permanently divided and wouldn’t be able to unite again. I think he didn’t count on what the sight of tanks rolling across a European country would do to people in Germany, people in Italy, people in France, people in Europe, and of course people in the United States.”

However, NATO is now being tested, Applebaum noted, and the alliance is proving to be more than equal to the task:

“It reminds everybody of a part of the European past that we hoped would never come back and NATO was encouraged to prevent. You have seen a really remarkable shift all across Europe as Europeans do now what should have been done some months ago, which is to reinforce and rearm Ukraine.”

Putin has overplayed his hand. And that could well cost him the war in Ukraine, as well as his position of power and his life.

Photo Of ‘Orange Beachball’ Trump Sets Off A Wave Of Internet Mockery

Failed, one-term, twice-impeached former President Donald Trump continues to insist that there’s a good chance he’ll run for the GOP presidential nomination once again in 2024, but based on a photo circulating on Twitter, it appears he’s in even worse shape than he was when he was still in the White House.

Attorney Ron Filipkowski shared this photo of the ex-president:

Wow! Not only does Donnie look morbidly obese, but be sure and notice the half-mast eyes. Did he not sleep well the night before? Or could those be the result of chemical enhancement?

Of course, Trump has a history of lying about his weight, as the Washington Post reported in January of 2018 when then-White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson (a.k.a. Dr. Feelgood) told reporters that the president was 6-3 and weighed a mere 239 pounds:

Adding to some online observers’ skepticism that Trump’s measurements were accurate was the fact that 239 pounds, at 6-3, conveniently put his body mass index at 29.9 — just below the 30.0 threshold for him to be officially described as obese, rather than merely overweight. In any event, plenty of Internet users were happy to juxtapose photos of the president with those of athletes with similar listed heights and weights.

If Trump is 239 pounds, then he’s also a world champion sprinter and works out seven times a day. (He isn’t and he doesn’t.)

Filipkowski’s photo posting of the Donald set off a wave of mockery that may take days to subside. Take a look:

Delusional Trump Gets Slammed For Saying NATO Wouldn’t Exist If It Wasn’t For Him

Even though failed, twice-impeached former President Donald Trump is known for being a habitual liar and malignant narcissist, something he claimed today has set off a wave of angry responses.

In a statement he had his spokesperson, Liz Harrington, post on Twitter (since the one-term ex-president remains banned from the platform), Trump boldly claimed that were it not for him, the NATO alliance wouldn’t exist:

“I hope everyone is able to remember that it was me, as President of the United States, that got delinquent NATO members to start paying their dues, which amounted to hundreds of billions of dollars. There would be no NATO if I didn’t act strongly and swiftly. Also, it was me that got Ukraine the very effective anti-tank busters (Javelins) when the previous Administration was sending blankets. Let History so note!”

Talk about revisionist history. The Donald is now claiming that NATO would have crumbled if he hadn’t been president, despite the fact that he signaled on several occasions it might be time to disband the alliance, which was formed in 1949.

In 2019, NBC News reported:

The Russian Orthodox church celebrated Christmas on Jan. 7, but President Vladimir Putin received his present from America a few days late. The destruction or weakening of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has been the goal of Soviet and Russian leaders since the organization’s creation following World War II. New reports that President Donald Trump repeatedly discussed with advisors his conviction that the United States should leave NATO represent nothing short of a triumph for Russian national security policy — even if nothing definitive has happened (yet).

Who would have benefitted from the U.S. leaving NATO? Putin and Russia. And had Trump done so, the Russian army would likely have already gobbled up every member of the alliance within a 1,000-mile radius of Moscow.

It didn’t take long before pushback to Trump’s bullshit began to appear on social media:

When July 4 rolls around, will Trump claim the Declaration of Independence was his idea, too?

Biden’s SCOTUS Nominee Has Already Laid A Legal Smackdown On Trump

When he nominated Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the U.S. Supreme Court on Friday, President Joe Biden not only picked an eminently qualified jurist to replace retiring Justice Stephen Breyer, he also chose someone who has a prior legal skirmish with former President Donald Trump which didn’t go the way the ex-president was hoping.

Josh Gerstein of Politico notes that a ruling Jackson issued against Trump in 2019 made it clear she doesn’t have a problem speaking her mind, even when she’s doing so in response to the president of the United States:

When the House’s lawsuit seeking to enforce a subpoena against former Trump White House Counsel Donald McGahn was randomly assigned to Jackson in 2019, the consensus among court watchers was that Trump was likely to be fileted. What emerged from Jackson was an 118-page jeremiad that did not mince words in dissecting Trump’s claim that his advisers had an absolute right to ignore Congressional subpoenas at his direction.

“Stated simply, the primary takeaway from the past 250 years of recorded American history is that Presidents are not kings,” Jackson wrote, dismissing the longstanding argument as “a fiction” and “a proposition that cannot be squared with core constitutional values.”

Such a ruling will likely lead some Republicans (i.e. Sen. Lindsey Graham, who claimed the choice had been made by Biden after pressure from the “radical left” ) to brand Jackson as a liberal, activist judge who will try to legislate from the bench, but her record doesn’t support such a ludicrous allegation:

“There’s very little there that can legitimately be characterized as radical. She’s a judge who takes pains to find and apply the law in an evenhanded manner with a balanced tone,” said Tomiko Brown-Nagin a constitutional law scholar and dean of the Harvard-Radcliffe Institute.

Judge Jackson is a former public defender, which gives her a unique perspective on the legal process that most Supreme Court justices (the majority of whom are former prosecutors) don’t possess. That experience alone will make her a welcome addition to the highest court in the land.

Also, knowing how Trump likely feels about Jackson makes her appointment even sweeter. She’s exactly the sort of jurist he would never have given a second look, if only because of the color of her skin.
