Former first lady Melania Trump wants us all to know that while some have tried to mock her for doing nude modeling work when she was younger, she’s very proud of the fact that she took her clothes off for the world to see.
In a video she posted on social media, Melania suggested that her nude photo shoots were comparable to Michelangelo’s famous “David” sculpture and other works of art.
“Why do I stand proudly behind my nude modeling work?” Melania asks. “The more pressing question is why has the media chosen to scrutinize my celebration of the human form in a fashion photo shoot?”
“Throughout history, master artists have revered the human shape, evoking profound emotions and admiration,” she continued. “We should honor our bodies and embrace the timeless tradition of using art as a powerful means of self-expression.”
So Melania wants us to know that she had a right to expose her body “artfully,” but she also supports her husband’s policies to take away a woman’s right to control her reproductive decisions? Wow! That’s some powerful hypocrisy.
Fortunately, Mrs. Trump got the mockery and ridicule she so richly deserved for her bullshit posting.
