New Polling Shows Trump Is Fading In Florida And Could Lose The State To Kamala Harris

 

Imagine, for just a moment, you’re watching a news broadcast a couple of days after all of the ballots have been tallied in the 2024 election and you see the state of Florida a beautiful shade of blue, meaning that Vice President Kamala Harris has defeated failed former president Donald Trump in the state the convicted felon now calls home.

Far-fetched? Based on new polling data from the Sunshine State, Trump is losing ground in the deeply red state and could well lose in what was once a GOP stronghold.

 

According to Newsweek, Florida is no longer a safe state for Trump.

On Tuesday, a new poll by the University of North Florida’s Public Opinion Research Lab found how likely Florida voters feel about the current presidential race between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.

According to the poll, first reported by The Palm Beach Post, Trump currently leads Harris by 7 percentage points in Florida (49 percent to 42 percent).

In a statement to The Palm Beach Post, Michael Binder, the director of the UNH polling lab and political science professor, said, “It’s not a huge surprise to see Trump ahead in his home state of Florida, which he won by three points in 2020.”

The loss of Florida would doom Trump’s already narrowing chances of winning another term in office, especially since new polls from the key battleground states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania show that the disgraced ex-president has lost the advantage he held before President Joe Biden withdrew from the 2024 race and endorsed Harris.

Additionally, Harris is seeing a huge infusion of cash to her campaign coffers, having raised over $200 million over the past week while Trump’s campaign appears to be floundering financially.

Florida is key to Trump’s chances of winning. With the state’s 30 electoral votes now in play, Republicans will have to try and devise a strategy that can allow him to reach the magic number of 270 Electoral College votes. If they can’t, Harris will win in a landslide not seen since Barack Obama won in 2008 and 2012.

Meanwhile, Harris will announce her pick of a running mate next Tuesday in Pennsylvania, which is likely to give her yet another positive bump in the polls.

Polling Guru Has New Nickname For Trump After He Refuses To Debate Kamala Harris

Though he may not be a household name, Presidential historian Alan Lichtman has accurately predicted the winner of every presidential election since 1984, the only exception being 2000, when he picked Al Gore to defeat George W. Bush.

And now Lichtman is weighing in on a flip-flop made by convicted felon and former president Donald Trump regarding a planned September debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, Newsweek reports.

Lichtman, often dubbed the “Nostradamus” of U.S. presidential elections given his track record of accurately predicting the result, said on X (formerly Twitter) that “tough guy” Trump was “trying to duck out” of a potential debate after Trump’s campaign team said he would not commit to taking part. Trump had previously agreed to two debates with President Joe Biden, including the one on June 27 that many commentators believe was the beginning of the end of Biden’s re-election campaign.

Trump’s refusal to debate led Lichtman to dub the disgraced ex-president “Donald Duck.”

As you’d expect, Lichtman’s tweet led to a heated debate on social media.

Donald Trump is terrified of strong women. He always has been. Don’t be surprised if he continues to refuse a debate with Harris. He knows she’ll mop the floor with him, and that would effectively destroy what’s left of his fragile male ego.

During a Friday evening speech he gave in Florida to Turning Point USA, disgraced former president and convicted felon Donald Trump once again took cheap shots at Vice President Kamala Harris, deliberately mispronouncing and then mocking her name.

“And by the way, there are numerous ways of saying her name, they were explaining to me, you can say KAmala, you can say KaMAla, I said, don’t worry about it,” Trump said. “It doesn’t matter what I say. I couldn’t care less if I mispronounce it.”

Of course, considering that Donnie has postponed his scheduled debate with Harris in September, claiming that Democrats may replace her with a different candidate, he’s in no position to make fun of anyone, especially when it comes to someone’s name. After all, we don’t name ourselves. Our names are given to us at birth.

Twitter was soon flooded with pushback aimed at the twice-impeached ex-head of state.

Vice President Kamala Harris released her first campaign ad on Wednesday, and the reaction to it has been extremely positive, leading to millions of views on social media.

Kamala Harris Supremely Trolls Trump By Using His Latest Rant Against Him

Convicted felon and 2024 Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is running scared, and he’s letting the entire world know that he’s absolutely terrified of facing Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming election.

HuffPost reports that Trump was ranting and raving at a campaign rally he held Wednesday in North Carolina.

Trump claimed that President Joe Biden is trying to put him in jail and “she’s the one behind it” along with “radical left judges.”

“So think of it: They get me to that position, and then their campaign says ‘I’m the prosecutor and he is the convicted felon.’ That’s their campaign,” Trump said. “I don’t think people are going to buy it.”

If it’s not going to work as Trump suggests, then why reiterate it and give it more life? Seems like the smarter strategy would be to go after your opponent with facts, but Donnie has never been a fan of truth or reality. They tend to get in the way of his paranoid delusions and endless conspiracy theories.

Within a few hours of Trump’s comments, the Harris campaign had already taken the quote and turned it against the disgraced former president.

Social media users also joined the fun at Donnie’s expense.
