AOC Claps Back Hard At Trump’s Border Czar When He Threatens Her With ‘Trouble’

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) masterfully clapped back at the Trump administration’s so-called “border czar,” Tom Homan, after he issued a veiled threat to her, and her comments have gone viral on social media.

During an appearance on Fox News Thursday evening, Homan was asked by host Laura Ingraham about a webinar Ocasio-Cortez had posted online about migrant’s rights and how they can avoid being deported. According to Ingraham, the congresswoman was showing migrants how to “game the system.”

“And I sent an email today to the deputy attorney general,” Homan warned. “At what level is that impedement [sic]? Is that impedement [sic]? I’m not an attorney, I’m not a prosecutor. Is that impedement [sic]? Is that impeding our law enforcement efforts? And if so, what are we gonna do about it? Is she crossing the line? So, I’m working with the Department of Justice and finding out. Where is that line that they cross? So, maybe AOC’s gonna be in trouble now.”

Tom Homan says he sent an email to the Deputy AG asking if AOC is crossing the line by providing webinars to undocumented immigrants: I’m not an attorney… maybe AOC is going to be in trouble now

As if the actions of the Trump administration regarding immigration weren’t disgusting enough, now they’re issuing threats to members of Congress who dare to pass along information to those who could be targeted by the White House. Since when is that a crime? And if it becomes a crime, what’s next? Criminalizing thoughts the way Big Brother did in Orwell’s 1984?

“Thoughtcrime was not a thing that could be concealed forever. You might dodge successfully for a while, even for years, but sooner or later they were bound to get you.”

Tom Homan and his ilk need to take a long look at themselves and decide if they want to be charged with crimes against humanity when the Trump administration fades into history. They may have presidential protection at the moment, but they won’t have it forever, and karma can be a nasty son of a bitch.
