Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) wants every American voter to know something before they cast their ballot on Election Day, and her prediction about what to expect next from former president Donald Trump is dire.
During an appearance Sunday on MSNBC, Pelosi told host Jen Psaki that Trump’s recent campaign speeches in which he cannot manage to stay on topic are the clearest signs yet of “cognitive deterioration.”
What does that mean for the country if Trump manages to win on Tuesday?
“So I think people who are thinking about voting for him have to know that he can’t last as president for four years with his brain deteriorating at the rate that it is and is clearly evident, and they may be voting for President Vance, which is a horrible thing for our country.”
The former House Speaker also talked about the right-wing violence which impacted her family when a Trump supporter broke into her home in 2022 and violently assaulted her husband, Paul, with a hammer.
“You’re right, our family has experienced the violence… coming into our house, violating the sanctity of our home, the safety of my husband, looking for me, echoing what was said on January 6th in the Capitol.”

Trump needs to lose and lose badly on Tuesday. If he doesn’t, this country is absolutely doomed.
