Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) thought he had the perfect attack line to use against Vice President Kamala Harris regarding who is best qualified to be the next president of the United States, but his efforts were quickly swatted down online when he dared to use the word “character” as being the most important quality in a leader.
At a Wednesday campaign rally, Vance told supporters, “The most important thing is not that we agree on 100% of the issues, it’s that we have a person of character and courage under fire in the Oval Office.”
Harris, Vance added is “a woman who is so afraid of the American media ― the friendly media ― that she won’t even do an interview.”
Ironically, as Vance made those remarks, Harris was being interviewed by MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle.
Of course, this is also the very same JD Vance who has repeatedly slammed failed former president Donald Trump, referring to him as “America’s Hitler” and “cultural heroin.”
Vance was reminded of his own words (and Trump’s), making for an embarrassing online swat down of the senator.
Donald Trump is not well, and the signs of his rapid mental decline are increasing with every interview he gives or speech he makes to his adoring acolytes.
For some time now, it’s been clear that the failed one-term president isn’t as mentally sharp as he was four years ago when he lost in a landslide to President Joe Biden. He rambles more, loses his train of thought, and mispronounces the simplest words.
Just last week, the disgraced ex-head of state mixed up Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan with the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, as Newsweek reported at the time.
“We were energy independent, we were soon going to be energy dominant, and we would’ve been now having so much money coming out of the energy. We just have the best.
“We have Bagram in Alaska. They say it might be as big, might be bigger than, all of Saudi Arabia. I got it approved. Ronald Reagan couldn’t do it. Nobody could do it. I got it done.”
And now Donald is drooling on himself.
Yes, really.
During a campaign rally in Savannah, Georgia, on Tuesday, Trump drooled while addressing his fans. Take a look:
The video set off a wave of speculation about what might be happening with the rapidly declining GOP presidential nominee, with some speculating it could be related to drug usage.
Donald Trump and JD Vance have been charged with a crime in the state of Ohio for spreading a disgusting lie that Haitian immigrants in the city of Springfield were killing and eating people’s pets.
According to Fox 8, the Haitian Bridge Alliance filed charges against Trump and Vance on Tuesday in Clark County Municipal Court.
Chandra Law Firm, which represents the Haitian Bridge Alliance, explained, “The criminal charges stem from the devastating harm of Trump’s and Vance’s baseless fearmongering that legal Haitian immigrants to the Ohio town are eating their neighbor’s pets.”
Here are the charges facing Trump and Vance, all of which could lead to their “immediate arrest” if they enter Clark County again:
Disrupting public service in violation of R.C. 2909.04(A) and (B) by causing widespread bomb and other threats that resulted in massive disruptions to the public services in Springfield, Ohio;
Making false alarms in violation of R.C. 2917.32(A) by knowingly causing alarm in the Springfield community by continuing to repeat lies that state and local officials have said were false;
Committing telecommunications harassment in violation of R.C. 2917.21(A) and S.C.O. § 537.08 by spreading claims they know to be false during the presidential debate, campaign rallies, nationally televised interviews, and social media;
Committing aggravated menacing in violation R.C. 2903.21(A) by knowingly making intimidating statements with the intent to abuse, threaten, or harass the recipients, including Trump’s threat to deport immigrants who are here legally to Venezuela, a land they have never known;
Committing aggravated menacing in violation of R.C. 2903.21(A) by knowingly causing others to falsely believe that members of Springfield’s Haitian community would cause serious physical harm to the person or property of others in Springfield; and
Violating the prohibition against complicity, R.C. 2923.03(A) and S.C.O. § 501.10, by conspiring with one another and spreading vicious lies that caused innocent parties to be parties to their various crimes.
Subodh Chandra, who is serving as lead counsel in the case, remarked, “We want the judge to issue arrest warrants for Trump and Vance immediately, there is probable cause.”
Trump campaing spokesperson Steven Cheung responded to the charges by remarking, “President Trump is rightfully highlighting the failed immigration system that Kamala Harris has overseen, bringing thousands of illegal immigrants pouring into communities like Springfield and many others across the country. President Trump will secure our border and put an end to the chaos that illegal immigration brings to our communities.”
The disgraced ex-president had announced that he would be visiting Springfield. He later reversed himself after the city’s mayor warned it would be a tremendous strain on the city.
For several months earlier this year, failed one-term former president Donald Trump repeatedly demanded that President Joe Biden drop out of the 2024 election because he was allegedly suffering from dementia and unfit for office.
However, with each campaign rally Donald has done since Biden bowed out of the race in July and was replaced by Vice President Kamala Harris, it’s Trump who now acts and sounds like a man who needs immediate medical attention for his declining mental health.
If you doubt that, consider remarks Trump made Monday evening during an event in Pennsylvania:
“He’s not very funny. (Jimmy Fallon) Can you believe that guy? Those three guys, they’re being blown away by Gutfeld. You know, Gutfeld, totally dominant. Those guys. Do you remember that guy? When I first ran, it was like 2015 thinking about running. I was going to run. I went on his show, right? And he goes, The Tonight Show, which is dying. They’re all dying. Where’s Johnny Carson? Bring back Johnny. It made you appreciate, right? Uncle Sam? It made you appreciate the greatness of Johnny Carson and these guys.”
He then added:
“These three guys, they’re so bad. All three of them. All three of them. But this one, I go on a show and he goes, is that your real hair? I said, yeah, he said, do you mind if I mess it up? I said, I’d prefer no. Do you remember this? I said I’d prefer it if you didn’t, to be honest. But if you have to. So he grabs it and he starts really going crazy, right? And everybody laughed. And it was a big thing and it was a big hit. It was all over the place and he got great ratings and all. And six months later he went out because he was under pressure to apologize because he humanized Donald Trump.”
Bring back Johnny Carson? To do that, you’re gonna need a heater and some smelling salts, because he’s been dead since 2005.
So now we have the Republican candidate for the White House calling for the reinstatement of a man who has been deceased for almost two decades, which begs the question, Did Trump think Carson was still alive, or is he just too stupid to realize that dead people don’t come back from death after 20 years?
Social media had some thoughts on Donnie’s worsening dementia.
Brian Glenn is an on-air “journalist” for the right-wing Real America’s Voice network, and he’s absolutely furious that a restaurant refused him multiple visits to their salad bar.
Glenn — who is also known as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) boyfriend — got very upset with Jason’s Deli in Wilmington, North Carolina, which he visited while attending a campaign rally for failed one-term president Donald Trump on Saturday.
“When did Jason’s Deli start just doing one trip to the salad bar?” Glenn whined in an online video. “Just one. It’s a big plate, a big bowl. But just one time. They told me it’s after COVID. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been to Jason’s Deli and I have gotten multiple salads, over and over and over. Anyway, let me know what you think.”
That was all it took for social media to light up with mockery, with some noting that Glenn’s post gave off “major Karen vibes.” Here’s a sampling of the online reaction.
