WATCH: Fox Host To Ben Carson: ‘Do You Worry That You’re Being Used As A Prop For Black Voters?’

Until this week, Dr. Ben Carson had been mostly absent from the Trump campaign. He was almost never seen anywhere with the exception of a few appearances here and there on Fox News. But suddenly when Trump traveled to Detroit and spoke an African-American church, Ben Carson was in every camera shot you saw of the Orange Menace.

Apparently I’m not the only one who noticed Carson’s conspicuous absence from the Trump camp. Today on “Fox News Sunday,” host Chris Wallace asked Carson directly:

“Do you worry that you’re being used as a prop for black voters and that supporting Donald Trump will end up hurting your credibility in the black community?”

Rather than reply to the question, Carson attempted to deflect by saying it’s not about him and then bringing up what Bill Clinton had said about immigration in the 1990s. How that has the slightest thing to do with Trump’s lack of support among black voters is beyond me. As we all know, Carson is not exactly loquacious when it comes to talking to reporters. And even when he does give a response, it’s usually circular and meanders off into left field.

Also, does Ben Carson really have much credibility in the African-American community? He’s a black Republican, and that’s not exactly a popular choice among most black people.

Is Dr. Carson being used as a prop by Donald Trump. Without a doubt! Donald Trump uses everyone for his own purposes, then discards them like so much detritus. One would think a doctor could discern this and cut his ties to Trump. But no doubt Carson’s been promised some cabinet position in a Trump Administration. Which means the good doctor, who claims to be a Christian, sold his soul for a pittance.
