Corruption Foreign Policy Trump-Russia WTF?!

Trump Says ‘People Will Die’ As A Result Of The Russia Investigation

President Trump and his best friend for life, Vladimir Putin, were able to meet briefly at the APEC summit in Vietnam, and they appeared to have a cordial greeting for each other. Whether this is because the two men genuinely like each other or because Putin has damaging information on Trump is not yet clear, but it did provide another opportunity for the American head of state to defend his Russian counterpart.

Aboard Air Force One, Trump was asked whether or not he thinks Putin and Russia interfered in the 2016 election, and he commented:

“Every time he sees me he says, ‘I didn’t do that,’ and I really believe, that when he tells me that, he means it. But he says, ‘I didn’t do that.’ I think he is very insulted by it, which is not a good thing for our country.”

Then Trump added this bizarre non-sequitur:

“This artificial Democratic hit job gets in the way and that’s a shame because people will die because of it. And it’s a pure hit job.”

People will die because of it? What in the hell does that mean? Is Trump planning to have people who “know too much” killed, or does he think there will suddenly be a rash of suicides by those under investigation?

Trump also said that he totally believes Putin when the Russian president tells him Russia had nothing to do with the 2016 election:

“Every time he sees me he says I didn’t do that and I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it. But he says I didn’t do that. I think he is very insulted by it, which is not a good thing for our country. Because again, if we had a relationship with Russia, North Korea which is our single biggest problem right now, it would help a lot.”

Who in the hell cares if a murdering tyrant like Putin is insulted?! Since when are we supposed to give a hoot in hell about his freaking feelings?

Not that one was needed, but Donald Trump just reconfirmed what we already knew: He’s guilty as hell and is terrified of the fact that Special Counsel Robert Mueller is getting closer to indicting him.
