Ted Cruz Mocks First Lady Jill Biden On Twitter – And Immediately Regrets It

If there’s one thing you can always count on from Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), it’s that he will inevitably try to troll someone on social media and wind up becoming the butt of the joke.

Part of the reason for Cruz’s constant sniping that boomerangs back on him is due to the fact that he thinks he’s got a sense of humor. He doesn’t, and he never will.

Another factor in Cruz’s repeated self-owns is that he’s genuinely despised by nearly everyone, including his own Republican Senate colleagues, who reportedly considering him to be the most loathsome sack of shit among their ranks.

And yet, Ted keeps firing off his pathetic little postings, and those postings reinforce what an abominable jackass he is.

Such is the case with Cruz’s attempt to mock First Lady Jill Biden for remarks she made earlier this week while speaking to a Hispanic group:

“Raul helped build this organization with the understanding that the diversity of this community — as distinct as the bodegas of the Bronx, as beautiful as the blossoms of Miami, and as unique as the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio — is your strength.”

Mrs. Biden later apologized for her comments, and given her lifetime of kindness and grace, no one believes she had any malignant intent.

Despite that apology, Cruz sent out this tweet:

Keep in mind this is the same Ted Cruz who was fine when failed, one-term, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump remarked:

“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending the best. They’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems. They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime. They’re rapists and some, I assume, are good people, but I speak to border guards and they’re telling us what we’re getting.”

Cruz’s hypocrisy was immediately attacked, with one of the best responses coming from former U.S. Attorney Joyce Vance.
