White Nationalist Proudly Declares: ‘We Will Not Stop Until The Handmaid’s Tale Is A Reality’

Vincent James is the host of the Red Elephant podcast and was a speaker at the November 2020 “Million Maga March,” and he’s letting the world know that the Supreme Court ruling in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization is just the beginning of what right-wing extremists have planned for women now that abortion has been made illegal in at least a dozen states.

Right Wing Watch came across remarks James made on his podcast this week in which he proudly proclaims:

“This is the era of Christian nationalism. Christian nationalism is on the rise and people are thirsty for it, hungry for this! And we are the Christian Taliban and we will not stop until The Handmaid’s Tale is a reality, and even worse than that to be honest.”

James then added:

“There was this article from The Atlantic that was like [Justice Sam] Alito is on a mission to roll back the rights of women and roll back the past hundred years of rights that were given to women. Yes, that is what we’re doing and it’s only going to get worse for you from here.”

Make no mistake. This is exactly what the extreme right-wing has in mind for American women. They want to impose their religion on others and make it an American Taliban that is intolerant of anyone who isn’t white, Christian, and male.

These people have to be stopped. And more importantly, their supporters in the Republican Party have to be voted out of office at every level. If we don’t stop them now, the United States will become little more than a western version of Afghanistan.

Nancy Pelosi Claps Back At The Archbishop Who Denied Her Communion For Being Pro-Choice

Last Friday, the Most Rev. Salvatore J. Cordileone, the Catholic Church’s archbishop in San Francisco, announced that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) would no longer be allowed to receive Holy Communion because she’s a supporter of a woman’s right to choose.

In a letter he sent to Speaker Pelosi, Archbishop Cordileone wrote:

As you have not publically repudiated your position on abortion, and continue to refer to your Catholic faith in justifying your position and to receive Holy Communion, that time has now come. Therefore, in light of my responsibility as the Archbishop of San Francisco to be “concerned for all the Christian faithful entrusted to [my] care” (Code of Canon Law, can. 383, §1), by means of this communication I am hereby notifying you that you are not to present yourself for Holy Communion and, should you do so, you are not to be admitted to Holy Communion, until such time as you publicly repudiate your advocacy for the legitimacy of abortion and confess and receive absolution of this grave sin in the sacrament of Penance.

That led the Speaker to note on MSNBC that the Archbishop is a hypocrite because he has never told a politician who supports the death penalty that he or she cannot take communion:

“I wonder about the death penalty, which I’m opposed to. So is the church, but they take no actions against people who may not share their view.”

The Catholic Church (like so many supposedly “Christian” religions which claim to be based on the teachings of Jesus) has tried to make women second class citizens for centuries. Women are only good for procreation and raising children while also being fully obedient to their husbands, the church, and the government.

That, however, isn’t religion. It’s slavery. And it’s wrong, no matter how you slice it.

Jen Psaki Schools Male Reporter On ‘Choices’ After He Asks Absurd Question About Abortion

Less than 24 hours after the U.S. Supreme Court refused to strike down a restrictive Texas law which forbids nearly 85% of all abortions in the state, the Biden administration made it clear it will not sit by and allow women across the United States to be denied a right they are guaranteed under Roe v. Wade, the landmark decision handed down in 1973 which established that states may not seek to control a woman’s reproductive freedom.

President Joe Biden had this to say Thursday afternoon in an official statement:

“It unleashes unconstitutional chaos and empowers self-anointed enforcers to have devastating impacts,” Biden, a Democrat, said in a statement directing federal agencies to act to protect the right to abortion enshrined in the high court’s landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade decision. “Complete strangers will now be empowered to inject themselves in the most private and personal health decisions faced by women.”

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki also commented on the ruling by the high court, noting:

“The effort and the focus of the federal government is to look for every resource, every level at our disposal to ensure that women in Texas have the ability to seek healthcare.”

That led Owen Jensen, the White House correspondent for EWNT — The Eternal Word Television Network — to ask:

“Why does the president support abortion when his own Catholic faith teaches abortion is morally wrong?”

Without a moment of hesitation, Psaki expertly swatted down Wilson by telling him:

“He believes that it is a woman’s right, a woman’s body, her choice. He believes it is up to a woman to make those decisions and make those decisions with her doctor. I know you have never faced those choices nor have you been pregnant. But for women out there who have faced those choices, this is an incredibly difficult thing in the president believes that their rights should be respected.”

Boom! Game, set, and match, Jen Psaki.

It shouldn’t be required to teach Americans that church and state are supposed to be kept separate under our form of government. It’s enshrined in the damn Constitution! As Thomas Jefferson himself once wrote:

“Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burned, tortured, fined and imprisoned. What has been the effect of this coercion? To make one half the world fools and the other half hypocrites; to support roguery and error all over the earth.”

The Texas attack on a woman’s right to choose will backfire on the state and on Republicans nationally. It may well hand the 2022 election to Democrats at the local, state, and national level.

When it comes to the right to choose, we should leave those decisions to the women who have to make them.
