Jen Psaki Schools Male Reporter On ‘Choices’ After He Asks Absurd Question About Abortion

Less than 24 hours after the U.S. Supreme Court refused to strike down a restrictive Texas law which forbids nearly 85% of all abortions in the state, the Biden administration made it clear it will not sit by and allow women across the United States to be denied a right they are guaranteed under Roe v. Wade, the landmark decision handed down in 1973 which established that states may not seek to control a woman’s reproductive freedom.

President Joe Biden had this to say Thursday afternoon in an official statement:

“It unleashes unconstitutional chaos and empowers self-anointed enforcers to have devastating impacts,” Biden, a Democrat, said in a statement directing federal agencies to act to protect the right to abortion enshrined in the high court’s landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade decision. “Complete strangers will now be empowered to inject themselves in the most private and personal health decisions faced by women.”

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki also commented on the ruling by the high court, noting:

“The effort and the focus of the federal government is to look for every resource, every level at our disposal to ensure that women in Texas have the ability to seek healthcare.”

That led Owen Jensen, the White House correspondent for EWNT — The Eternal Word Television Network — to ask:

“Why does the president support abortion when his own Catholic faith teaches abortion is morally wrong?”

Without a moment of hesitation, Psaki expertly swatted down Wilson by telling him:

“He believes that it is a woman’s right, a woman’s body, her choice. He believes it is up to a woman to make those decisions and make those decisions with her doctor. I know you have never faced those choices nor have you been pregnant. But for women out there who have faced those choices, this is an incredibly difficult thing in the president believes that their rights should be respected.”

Boom! Game, set, and match, Jen Psaki.

It shouldn’t be required to teach Americans that church and state are supposed to be kept separate under our form of government. It’s enshrined in the damn Constitution! As Thomas Jefferson himself once wrote:

“Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burned, tortured, fined and imprisoned. What has been the effect of this coercion? To make one half the world fools and the other half hypocrites; to support roguery and error all over the earth.”

The Texas attack on a woman’s right to choose will backfire on the state and on Republicans nationally. It may well hand the 2022 election to Democrats at the local, state, and national level.

When it comes to the right to choose, we should leave those decisions to the women who have to make them.

WATCH CNN’s Kirsten Powers SHUT DOWN A Former Trump Aide For Calling Kamala Harris ‘Hysterical’

You’ve probably seen Jason Miller, a former campaign aide to President Trump, on cable news shows over the past few months. He’s such a partisan that he’d probably defend the president if he’d been caught stealing teddy bears from babies.

But Miller got his head handed to him on CNN Tuesday night when he accused California Senator Kamala Harris of “hysteria” for the way she questioned Attorney General Jeff Sessions when he testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee earlier in the day. CNN commentator Kirsten Powers challenged Miller, asking:

“How was Sen. Harris hysterical?. I don’t really understand that. I mean, she was asking some tough questions.”

Rather than reply to the question, Miller accused Senator Harris of using her questions of Sessions as a “completely partisan screed.”

Powers refused to relent, again asking Miller:

“But how was that hysterical?”

“From my perspective ― my, I would say, objective perspective ― I mean it was … it didn’t seem like there was any effort to try to get to a real question or get to the bottom of it.”

Then Powers used fact to prove what Miller was really trying to say:

“I think she asked a lot of questions, actually. She was very dogged, there’s no question, but I wouldn’t say she was any more dogged than Ron Wyden was, would you? Would you say that?”

To that, Miller replied:

“Look, I have my opinion on that. I think she was hysterical. I don’t think that Senator Wyden was really trying to get to the bottom of answers either.”

That’s when Powers showed that Miller was falling back on a double standard:

“But he wasn’t hysterical and she was. OK, I just wanted to clear that up. Got it.”

Trump acolyte Jeffrey Lord then piped up and said “hysteria is a neutral quality.”

So Kirsten Powers dropped the nuclear bomb of truth to shut down both Miller and Lord, commenting:

“And yet it’s just women that usually are called hysterical.”

Politics Sexism WTF?!

WATCH: This Ad Should Pretty Much Destroy Trump’s Chances With Female Voters

A man who taught me much of what I know about political consulting and campaign advertising once gave me some advice that I consider to be the gold standard of the trade:

“If you want to destroy another candidate, just use their own words against them.”

That’s exactly what the conservative Our Principles PAC has done with their latest anti-Trump ad, in which they quote the current GOP front-runner saying the following :

  • Calling calling women “bimbos,” “dogs,” and “fat pigs.”
  • Trump remarking that, “A person who is flat chested is very hard to be a ten.”
  • The Donald saying of Carly Fiorina, “Look at that face, would anyone vote for that?”
  • Trump on Princess Diana: “She had the height. She had the beauty. But she was crazy.”
  • Trump holding forth on the media and how they portray him: “You know it really doesn’t matter what they write, as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass.”

Do those sound like the kinds of things that a male candidate would want to say if he planned to get a vote from a woman? Can you imagine a variation on that ad being run against Trump if he becomes the GOP nominee and is locked in a battle with either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders?

The sound you now hear is one of tens of millions of women across the United States as they mentally cast their ballot for anyone but Trump.

Role Reversal: Women Tell GOP Candidates What To Do With Their Bodies (Video)

Seems that Republican men–especially those who seek or achieve political office–are forever wanting to tell women what they should do with their bodies and reproductive choices. A look at this year’s crop of contenders for the White House on the GOP side is proof positive of this phenomenon. So what would happen if the roles were reversed and women were in a position to tell men what should be done with their bodies? That’s what the website Mashable decided to find out, and the results are both illuminating and hilarious. One woman urges the GOP candidates to lay off the “manscaping,” and then says that applies to Carly Fiorina, too. Another women minces no words and comments:

“Guys, Republicans, picture this: Once a month, lots of blood just comes out of you d**k hole and if you want to prevent it, you just shove a tampon in your d**k hole. Now picture my trying to regulate your d**k hole.”

There are even tips for individual candidates, such as Donald Trump:

“Take as many selfies as possible. You’ve got the duck lips that teen girls dream of.”

Even Jeb Bush gets a helping hand from the ladies:

“You basically want women to wear a chastity belt. We just want you to use your actual belt and wear your pants below your nipple line.”

This is all long overdue if you ask me. Men need to hear what women have to say on this topic. Who am I to tell anyone what they can or cannot do with their body, especially since I cannot give birth to a child? If men had to endure what women do over their lives, I truly believe there would be no more laws on what could or could not be done when it comes to matters of privacy and personal choice.

First Lady Michelle Obama’s Inspirational Message To Young Muslim Women

First Lady Michelle Obama recently spoke to a group of young Muslim women at the Mulberry School for Girls in East London as part of her Let Girls Learn initiative. The goal of the program is to make sure women around the world have the chance to attend school.

The First Lady, in an uplifting speech, told the women:

“Maybe you read the news and hear what folks are saying about your religion. And you wonder if anyone ever sees beyond your headscarf to see who you really are, instead of being blinded by the fears and misperceptions in their own minds. And I know how painful and how frustrating all of that can be.”

Education, Ms. Obama assured the students, is the key to future success in life:

“But here’s the thing — with an education from this amazing school, you all have everything, everything, you need to rise above all of the noise and fulfill every last one of your dreams.”

Noting the similarities between her own upbringing as part of a working-class family on the South Side of Chicago, the First Lady added:

“I look out at all you young women and I see myself. In so many ways, your story is my story.”

Mulberry School for girls is already a huge success. Students consistently score high on standardized tests and more than 80 percent of Mulberry’s graduates later go on to attend college.

Personally, I think what the First Lady said is true for all young people in the world today. No matter what background you may come from, no matter what others may try to say about you, you can achieve anything you want if you educate yourself. It is a message we should be shouting from the rooftops around the United States and the world. It is a message I tell my own daughter on a daily basis.

It is a message of hope, opportunity, and deliverance.
