Tucker Carlson Attacked Jon Stewart And Quickly Regretted It When Stewart Clapped Back

 

Fox News host Tucker Carlson thought he’d attack former “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart over Stewart’s advocacy on behalf of veterans who were exposed to toxic burn pits while serving in Afghanistan and Iraq.

HuffPost notes that Carlson made his hateful remarks on his show:

Carlson fired off a series of highly personal and deeply weird insults at Stewart for his advocacy of healthcare for U.S. veterans. Stewart, Carlson said, looks “like a guy who lives in the men’s room at your public library, eating imaginary insects out of the air” and “a homeless mental patient.”

“He’s shrieking and disheveled and very short,” Carlson said. “Really short. Too short to date. Was he always that short?”

But someone should have warned Carlson that it’s a bad idea to attack a comedian, especially one as beloved as Jon Stewart, and certainly not when he’s advocating on behalf of veterans.

Stewart quickly clapped back at Carlson.

Others on Twitter then joined the debate and also took turns slamming Carlson.

Memo to Tucker Carlson: You should probably stick to polishing Donald Trump’s butt. At least you’re good at that.

Tucker Carlson Pitched An On-Air Hissy Fit During Thursday’s Jan. 6 Committee Hearing

Fox News host Tucker Carlson proved once again Thursday evening that he and the network he works for have zero credibility and are nothing more than a propaganda outlet for the Republican Party and its would-be dictator for life, Donald Trump.

As the first evening of hearings from the House Select Committee investigating the January 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol were beginning at 8:00 p.m., Carlson was starting his nightly show, and he made it clear from the get-go that he had no intention of letting any truth into his broadcast:

“This is the only hour on an American news channel that will not be carrying their propaganda live.

“They are lying, and we will not let them do it.”

HuffPost notes it wasn’t just Carlson’s ranting that was completely fact-free and at times hysterical:

He and his producers plastered hysterical chyrons across the screen for their millions of viewers to see: “JAN 6 CMTE FUELS FALSE NARRATIVES AS SHAM INVESTIGATION DRAGS ON.” “LEADERS WILL SPEND 90 MINUTES GIVING MORAL LECTURE.” “OUR LEADERS ARE FOCUSING ON JAN. 6 WHILE IGNORING THE REAL THREATS.”

And if all that wasn’t bad enough, Carlson also suggested that investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection might just led to another insurrection, which is ironic since he insisted there had been no insurrection in the first place:

“This was not an insurrection, but you know what will give you an insurrection? If you ignore legitimate concerns of a population. If you brush them aside like they don’t matter when gas goes to $5 and say ‘Buy an electric car.’ When cities become so filthy and dangerous that you can’t live there. When the economy becomes so distorted your children have no hope of getting married and giving you grandchildren. When you don’t care at all about any of that and all you do is talk about yourself, nonstop, you might get an insurrection if you behave like that, speaking of insurrections.”

Is that right, Tuck? Well, at least the FBI will know who to visit if and when that happens.

Tucker Carlson Gets Cold Busted Lying About Why He Rejoined Twitter

Like all of the on-air hosts at Fox News, Tucker Carlson lies about everything, even when he’d be better served by telling the truth.

For example, on Monday evening, just hours after the announcement that Elon Musk had reached a deal to acquire social media platform Twitter, Carlson announced he was rejoining the site, even going so far as to announce it on his nightly show.

However, it turns out that Carlson lied about the reason he had returned to Twitter, according to Mediaite:

Tucker Carlson appears to have attempted to mislead his viewers as to why he is back on Twitter after a month-long break.

Carlson, who was suspended by the censor-happy platform on March 23, attributed his return on Monday to Elon Musk on his nightly show.

Carlson had his account locked for a disgusting tweet he posted suggesting that Assistant Secretary for Health Rachel Levine — who is transgender — was a man.

The Fox News host commented on Levine’s biological sex after two other prominent accounts, those of the Babylon Bee and of Charlie Kirk, were suspended for calling Levine a “man.”

Afterwards, Fox said Carlson would refuse to delete the tweet, no matter the consequences.

And yet, he clearly did delete the offensive tweet, which led him to send out this message an hour before his Monday evening broadcast:

What happened? Once again, Mediaite explains:

Carlson’s Monday tweet appears to be the result of a decision to delete the Levine post, which no longer appears on his timeline.

So Tucker was never going to delete the tweet, but he did exactly that, which means he lied. Then he failed to admit he had deleted said tweet and pretended he was back on the platform because Musk was now the owner of Twitter.

There are lies, and then there are Fox News lies, which are always bigger, more obvious, and more pernicious.

Tucker Carlson’s ‘Homoerotic’ Promo For His New Documentary Is Beyond Bizarre

When you hear the name of Fox News host Tucker Carlson, what comes to mind?

For most, the image would probably be one of an ultraconservative, priggish know-it-all who seems to think the world would be better off if everything reverted to the way it was at the beginning of the 19th century.

So you can certainly understand why a promo video for Carlson’s new documentary, entitled “The End of Men,” has drawn so much debate on social media, with many suggesting that the Fox host is trying to tell us all something about himself that he doesn’t exactly think fits with his carefully-crafted image.

Uproxx explains the promo video this way:

In a preview of his forthcoming new season of “Tucker Carlson Originals,” the host promises to cover “one of the biggest stories of our lifetime,” namely “the total collapse of testosterone levels in American men.” What is he talking about? He’s almost certainly promising even more transphobia on the same station that recently hired Caitlyn Jenner. But the trailer for the doc also promises lots of shots of shirtless men with glistening six packs doing things like shooting guns, milking cows, and what appears to be tanning their testicles.

What in the hell was that? Did someone just hack my cell phone and start playing man on man videos 24/7?

That trailer has caused a hell of a lot of debate on Twitter:

There were lots of jokes, addressing both its “homoerotic” overtones and its similarities to the work of Nazi filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl, whose film of the 1936 Berlin Olympics fetishizes the male form.

But perhaps the most obvious question is whether or not Carlson needs to sit his wife and kids down and have a conversation.

Tucker Carlson Accuses Ketanji Brown Jackson Of Not Being Black Enough

Having already suggested that Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson should be forced to released her LSAT test scores in order to prove her intellectual credentials, Fox News host Tucker Carlson is now accusing the judge of not being black enough.

On his show Tuesday evening, Carlson was discussing how Judge Jackson did during the second day of her confirmation hearings before the Senate Judiciary Committee with political commentator Clay Travis when he noted:

“I have to say, her views really seem like those of every affluent white liberal I’ve ever met.

“If you want a Black candidate ― I’m serious! I think the country would get better representation from, you know. She’s just a carbon copy of everyone in the neighborhood I spent my life in.”

Travis eagerly agreed with Carlson:

“This is what happens, Tucker, they want cosmetic diversity, but everybody to have the exact same opinions. No diversity of thought, diversity of appearance. It’s scary.”

Carlson then asserted that Judge Jackson’s views are in no way representative of “the average American.”

“If you picked a rap star off the street, that person’s views would more likely be closer to the views of the average American than the views of this woman, I would argue. I’ve got money on it actually.”

The real problem Carlson and other conservatives have with Judge Jackson is her skin color. It’s just that simple and just that disgusting.
