Trump Does A MONUMENTAL Self-Own On Truth Social And Gets Mocked All Over Twitter

Proving that he has absolutely no self-awareness whatsoever, one-term, twice impeached former president Donald Trump made a posting on his pathetic Twitter imitation, Truth Social (a.k.a Twitter for losers,) that only succeeded in getting him endlessly mocked on other social media sites with much larger followings.

Trump’s ire was set off by an ad being run by Daniel Goldman, who was an attorney for the House impeachment committee that sent articles impeachment to the Senate the FIRST time Donnie was impeached.

Goldman is running for Congress in New York, which has no impact on Trump one way or the other, as he now resides at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.

But the ill-tempered ex-president couldn’t resist trying to troll Goldman:

OK, who wants to tell him?

Why would anyone want to vote for a loser? Great question, and one that begs yet another query: Why would anyone vote for Donald Trump, who lost the popular vote TWICE and most recently got his electoral clock cleaned by President Joe Biden? Some people, it seems, are just masochists, while others allegedly like to have Russian hookers urinate on the bed while they watch.

Fortunately, there was no shortage of people who were only too happy to remind Donnie that he’s a loser of historical proportions.

Donald Trump Social Media WTF?!

According To Devin Nunes, Trump’s Truth Social Has Turned Twitter Into A ‘Ghost Town’

Despite evidence to the contrary, Devin Nunes insists that failed, one-term former President Donald Trump’s social media startup, Truth Social, is doing so well that Twitter has become a “ghost town.”

Just last week, according to Newsweek, we learned how pathetic Truth Social actually is:

Last week, a mobile analytics firm stated that downloads for Truth Social were down more than 90 percent since launching in February. During the week of its launch earlier this year, there were more than 870,000 downloads, which has now fallen to approximately 60,000 downloads a week.

But pay no attention to the man behind the curtain! Devin Nunes says the reports of Truth Social being a flop are exaggerated, even though he and Trump and the ones known for exaggeration (a.k.a. lying).

Appearing on Fox Business Thursday morning, Nunes told host Maria Bartiromo:

“There’s not very much activity over at Twitter right now, especially when you compare it to sites like ours, where we’re just in our beginning stages as we continue to test and bring people on day by day.”

Yeah, that must be why Elon Musk just bought a 9.2% share in Twitter instead of Truth Social, which is such a giant failure that not even Trump posts anything on his own social media platform.

Nunes was also pushing his bullshit during an interview he gave to The Washington Times:

“Bottom line is it’s the fastest-growing social media company in history. There hasn’t been one that has grown faster.

“Because we’re building this from scratch without using any of the tech tyrants, anyone who can cancel us, we have to go methodically, step by step, to ensure both quality and reliability.”

Sure thing, Devin. But did he offer any data to support his claims? Nope. It’s just him doing his best imitation of Trump and lying about everything.

Lauren Boebert Announces She’s Joined Trump’s Social Media Site And Gets Roundly Mocked With 1 Word

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) wanted the world to know that she had just joined failed, one-term former President Donald Trump’s pathetic social media site, Truth Social, so she made the announcement on Twitter.

Let the irony of that sink in for a moment.

Boebert posted this on Twitter:

“I’m officially on TRUTH Social! Finally we can speak freely without having to worry about annoying some liberal activist high on power and soy milk. If you’re over there, follow my account. If not, get over there ASAP!”

In case you’re wondering, Boebert still has her Twitter account, so apparently all that bullshit about ditching “big tech” was just a lot of overheated claptrap. If she’s now on Truth Social, why does she need Twitter? Could it have something to do with the fact that Trump’s site currently has less than 100,000 users?

Most people were eager to see Boebert go, and trolled her with a resounding “Goodbye!”

Trump’s Social Media Site Is Such A Miserable Failure That He Refuses To Post On It

Failed, one-term former President Donald Trump thought he could compete with Twitter and Facebook, but he’s finding out that his foray in the social media field is also headed for failure.

Truth Social, which launched on President’s Day, has fewer that 80,000 followers, and Trump himself doesn’t even use the platform, continuing to issue “official statements” on Twitter via his spokesperson, Liz Harrington.

Axios notes that the rollout of Truth Social has been plagued with bugs and setbacks since its launch almost two weeks ago:

Truth Social spent much of February in private beta with invited users, saying its public unveil would be Feb. 21 (President’s Day, natch).

  • The launch itself was buzzy, with Truth Social shooting to the top of Apple’s App Store (there isn’t yet an Android or web version).
  • But the vast majority of people downloading the app, me included, were given a waitlist number. Nine days later, most of us remain on that waitlist, with our number unchanged and without a word of communication from the company. A waitlist “refresh” icon doesn’t work.
  • As of this writing, Truth Social has fallen to No. 57 in the App Store, just behind Tinder and Planet Fitness Workouts.

And while Trump may be the official “face” of Truth Social, he certainly doesn’t act like it:

The former president is Truth Social’s founder and chairman, so he obviously bears some responsibility for putting together the team that’s so far fallen on its face. But, most importantly, he’s not using the app.

When he was still on Twitter, Trump had millions of followers, and the plan was to leverage his popularity and transfer it to the new site. But so far that hasn’t come to fruition:

The SPAC’s investment thesis seems to be that a large percentage of Trump’s 88 million Twitter followers will migrate over to Truth Social. But nearly two weeks after launch, his dormant account has fewer than 80,000 followers. And Trump himself is largely to blame.

As former GOP strategist Rick Wilson has noted, “Everything Trump touches dies.”

Trump’s ‘Truth Social’ Site Launches Tomorrow – Indications Are It’ll Be A Total Trainwreck

Monday is Presidents Day, so apparently failed, one-term, twice-impeached former President Donald Trump thought it would be the ideal day to launch his social media site, Truth Social.

The Hill reports the site isn’t quite at full functionality, but that isn’t stopping Trump and his investors from going full speed ahead.

According to a beta tester given early access, the platform isn’t quite ready for primetime just yet.

“The app still has a lot of issues,” Ben Rabizadeh, founder and CEO of the social investing platform Story Trading, told The Hill Friday. “The major issue with the app is it’s slow, it’s laggy.”

Also, Truth Social is basically just a copy of Twitter, minus the hundreds of millions of users that make Twitter (along with Facebook) the top social media sites on the planet:

Rabizadeh described the layout of the platform as visually similar to Twitter, Trump’s preferred platform while he was in office.

“The design is clean,” he added. “When you look at a screenshot it looks like Twitter but when you use it the flow is a lot different.”

Users have been able to sign up for access to Truth Social for months now, and yet as of Friday the site still has less than 2,000 users who want to be part of the ex-president’s foray into social media.

The greatest challenge facing Truth Social may wind up being its ability (or inability) to keep it from becoming a outlet for right-wing nutjobs and tinfoil hat wearers:

Truth Social will likely be confronted with the reality sooner or later that it will have to moderate some content if it wants to be hosted on major app stores and retain advertisers.

“The main thing I’m curious about is whether whoever is running this platform is going to allow it to devolve into a site for conspiracy theorists and white supremacists,” Paul Barrett, deputy director of the NYU Stern Center for Business and Human Rights, told The Hill.

With Donald Trump’s named attached to it, you can bet there will be plenty of crazies.

But when you consider that Trump has been a failure at every venture he’s ever tried, it’s not exaggeration to predict that Truth Social will be defunct by this time next year.
