The Trump Adminstration Trump's War on the Press WTF?!

Kayleigh McEnany Decided To Slam The Press One Last Time – That Was A BIG Mistake

On this, the last full day of the Trump administration, former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany thought it would be a great idea to take one last cheap shot at the press, as if in doing so she could somehow manage to salvage what was left of her already sullied reputation.

Be sure and note that McEnany also made sure to get a blatant self-promotion in there, as if anyone other than the most brainwashed MAGA zombies would want to “follow her” anywhere. Safe to say at least 81 million of us wouldn’t follow Kayleigh McEnany if she promised to take us to an all-you-can-eat buffet that pays you $1,000 the minute you walk through the door and another grand on the way out.

One thing was accomplished by McEnany’s last-second snipe at the media: It unleashed a flood of cathartic anger directed at her and the evil she helped perpetuate on behalf of the most sinister man to ever hold the office of preisdent:

Bye bye, Kayleigh. You’ve been an abomination, just like the man you served.

Trump Threatens To Shut Down NBC – Gets Dealt A Dose Of Internet Karma (TWEETS)

Our infantile head of state is upset and issuing threats yet again, all because NBC News dared to report the details of what made Secretary of State Rex Tillerson call President Trump a moron. Tillerson made his remarks shortly after a meeting in which Trump called for a tenfold increase in the U.S. nuclear arsenal.

So naturally, Trump had to respond and confirm that NBC’s reporting was correct:

Clearly, Trump has never read the United States Constitution, specifically the First Amendment. Plenty of Twitter users were only to happy to give dotard Donald a lesson in American civics:

Another day, another deranged tweet from our fake president, who is probably in office only because of significant assistance from the Russians. When will Republicans take the brave path of Senator Bob Corker and get rid of this malignancy in the Oval Office?

WATCH Kellyanne Conway Whine Because The Emmys Dared To Make Fun Of Trump

At Sunday evening’s broadcast of the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, there was constant ridicule of President Trump. Most performers and those giving acceptance speeches weighed in on Trump, exercising their First Amendment right to criticize an elected leader.

But the White House was deeply offended by what the TV stars had to say. Apparently it’s OK if Trump and his minions criticize President Obama for eight years, question his citizenship, and even hang him in effigy, but when the shoe is on the other foot, somehow that’s not fair.

Senior presidential adviser Kellyanne Conway appeared on Fox & Friends Monday morning to discuss the matter, and she whined:

It’s the sameness,” Conway lamented.

“They got plucked and polished and waxed and some of them didn’t eat for two months. And all for what? To sound the same?”

Instead of taking political stands, Conway added, actors should “read the stuff other people write for you.”

Yes, just be good puppets like the Trump spokespeople and do as you’re told. Don’t dare question authority or point out the ignorance and insanity of the administration’s policies. Hollywood, fall in line and do as you’re told!

Conway also seemed to suggest that the First Amendment is dangerous in a representative democracy, which is something all fascists are fond of:

“People have the right to speak freely, that’s very obvious. But again, to what end? You are showing the world that you’re so easy with an insult about our leader. I think that’s really unfortunate.”

Easy with an insult and unfortunate? Then how should we classify these comments made by Trump about President Obama:

  • “I think President Obama has been the most ignorant president in our history. His views of the world as he says don’t jibe and the world is a mess.”
  • “No, I meant he’s the founder of ISIS. I do. He was the most valuable player. I give him the most valuable player award.”
  • “Under the leadership of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, the generals have been reduced to rubble.”
  • “I think he’s been a disaster. He’s been weak, he’s been ineffective.”

Sounds like Trump is getting a heavy dose of karma, and he deserves every bit of it.

Here’s Conway being a hypocrite on Fox News:

CNN Panel Explains The Real Reason Trump Continues To Attack The Media (VIDEO)

Why exactly does President Trump feel the need to continually attack the news media? Is it because they refuse to adore him and shower him with praise? Or could there be another, more personal reason that motivates the president?

A CNN panel examined that very question Thursday evening, with New York Times columnist Charles Blow and CNN media analyst Brian Stelter suggesting that the reason may lie deep inside Trump’s psyche. As Stelter noted:

“I thought it was revealing the way he was doing that saying, ‘NBC, I made them a lot of money with ‘The Apprentice,’ they take care of me, but they’re so mean to me. It shows the transactional way he thinks of the media, the way he thinks about business and maybe about politics and governing. But let’s make no mistake, we’re seeing this coordinating campaign by Trump and his allies to tear down news outlets they don’t like, news outlets that are trying to hold them accountable. It happens to be CNN today. It happens to be NBC on Trump’s mind today. It will be others as well. It’s been others in the past, others in the future. What Polish citizens and American citizens have in common is a desire for a truly free press.”

Host Don Lemon suggested that the president may be especially hard on CNN because he feels the network has been the most aggressive on the Russia story. That led Blow to comment:

“In addition to what you’re saying, it underlines the incredible narcissism of the president. I mean, everything he says is about ‘how the press has treated me,’ how ‘NBC has treated me,’ ‘what I did for them and they didn’t repay me.’ It is never about — even the investigation, the Russia investigation, it’s never about the health of the country. It’s never about protecting the institutions that make the country great. It’s never about, like, ‘something that is bigger than me.’ It is always about — ‘everything that is as small as me’ with this man.”

Once we all begin viewing Trump from a personal and psychological perspective, Blow added, we can better understand what he does:

“Not that it makes it right, it just makes it make sense that he cannot see anything greater than himself. That kind of drags the presidency down. That drags the country down. That makes us all sit around and talk about these — talk about his feelings and whether or not his fragility is in play and whether or not he is something that someone said that he didn’t agree with and that he now tosses around the idea of fake news as if it is interchangeable with whether or not it is laudatory for me or not. And that’s crazy.”

Doltish Conway: Media Covering Trump Tweets Proves ‘They Are Trying To Interfere With POTUS’

If you were waiting for the most ridiculous excuse for President Trump’s tweets hinting at violence against the news media, it arrived in the form of good ol’ Kellyanne “Cryptkeeper” Conway Monday morning during an appearance on Fox & Friends, who predictably said that all of the fault lies with the media.

Asked about the tweet Trump sent out Sunday showing him on video body slamming CNN, Conway opined:

“The media have now moved on from Russia to cover themselves. The American people see that they’re trying to interfere with the president communicating directly through his very powerful social media network channels.”

Wasn’t the Trump administration whining about the media covering the Russia investigation? Now the topic changes and they’re still not happy.

Next, Conway whined:

“Notice that they don’t cover the substance of the issues. I know it’s a heck of a lot easier to cover 140 characters here or there or what the president may be saying about the media here or there than it is to learn the finer points of how Medicaid is funded in this country and how that would or would not change under the Senate bill.”

We’ve been over that already, Kellyanne. Under Trumpcare, Medicaid would be cut by nearly a TRILLION dollars just so Republicans can give a giant tax cut to their millionaire and billionaire political contributors.

Lastly, the Cryptkeeper ended her segment with this dash of complete bullshit about the ongoing investigation into the 2016 election:

“The Obama administration under oath have said they did not change a single vote and that there is no collusion. They are talking about themselves. This is why America doesn’t trust many of them.”

Instead, we should trust a pathological liar in the Oval Office and his adviser who once deemed outright lies to be “alternative facts?” Thanks, but I’d believe a talking giraffe before I believed anyone associated with Donald Trump.
