Sen. Mazie Hirono Puts Ted Cruz On Blast For Getting Upset About All The Wrong Things

During a hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) was apoplectic about the leaking of a draft Supreme Court opinion that would overturn 1973’s Roe v. Wade ruling which gave American women the right to make their own reproductive choices, including the right to a safe, legal abortion.

According to Cruz, if one “criminal law clerk” can leak draft SCOTUS decisions, “it does possibly permanent damage to the Supreme Court.”

That led Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) to light into Cruz and remind him that he and other Republicans have tried to downplay the seriousness of what took place on January 6, 2021, and yet they now want to raise holy hell about a leaked court opinion, noting that she was “frankly shocked” that Republicans are still “shocked by the leak rather than the fact that we have radical right-wing justices on our Supreme Court who are poised to take away a constitutional right — not just any right, but a constitutional right that women in our country have relied on for almost 50 years.”

Hirono then added:

“And to listen to my colleagues going on about comments that are made by organizations and individuals, that is called free speech the last time I looked, and I know for a fact that the Republicans are constantly talking about free speech rights — in fact, even describing the January 6 riot as legitimate political discourse.”

Sen. Hirono is absolutely right. Republicans have repeatedly poo-pooed the fact that Trump supporters attacked the seat of government in order to try and carry out a coup that would overturn the results of a free and fair election. They were aided in their efforts by senators such as Cruz and Josh Hawley (R-MO), both of whom wanted to delay the certification of the electoral votes on Jan. 6 in order to give Trump and his allies more time to carry out their nefarious plans.

A leaked document is a bigger threat than a violent attack on the Capitol? Ted Cruz needs to shut his trap and hang his head in shame.

Ted Cruz Says Disney Will Soon Have Cartoons Of ‘Mickey And Pluto Going At It’ In The Bedroom

It’s a given that Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz is a human hemorrhoid who just so happens to wear a suit and tie and grow a grubby looking beard that seems more suitable on a serial killer or perverted neighbor who likes to steal women’s underwear off the nearest clothesline.

But now we know what a sick, twisted, and downright demented excuse of a person Cruz is as a result of remarks he made in a disgusting attack on the Walt Disney Company, which has made it clear they don’t support the controversial “Don’t Say Gay” legislation that was recently signed by Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis.

On his “Verdict” podcast, Cruz launched a demented and downright disgusting attack on Disney, telling listeners:

“I think there are people who are misguided, trying to drive Disney stepping in saying, you know, in every episode now they’re going to have, you know, Mickey and Pluto going at it.”

The Texas senator then added:

“But it’s just like, come on, guys, these are kids and, you know, you could always shift to Cinemax if you want that. Like, I’m a dad, it used to be that you could put your kids on the Disney channel and be like, all right, something innocuous will happen.”

So just because Disney doesn’t support state-sanctioned discrimination against LGBTQ Americans, that means they’re suddenly going to start showing smut on their channels? That’s almost as absurd as the rumor that Ted Cruz is an adult when he’s actually little more than a adolescent with the brain of a seven-year-old boy in desperate need of some Adderall.

Twitter wasted no time letting Cruz know that his remarks sounded more like a reflection of his own fantasies than something Disney would produce:

Ted Cruz Decided To Mock Mr. T For Valuing His Health – That Was A HUGE Mistake

For some reason known only to him, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) seems to take great delight in attempting to mock, shame, or troll people on social media when they do something honorable, noble, or thoughtful.

Such is the case with a snotty comment Cruz made in response to a tweet sent out by Mr. T:

That led Cruz to respond:

Really, Ted? Maybe you should officially change your name to Sen. Asshole, because that’d be a hell of a lot more accurate.

The resulting blowback on social media was a reminder to Cruz that sometimes he needs to remain silent rather than proving his own pettiness.

GOP U.S. Senate WTF?!

Ted Cruz Goes Full Perv With Disgusting Comment About His Upcoming Visit To Yale University

There aren’t enough adjectives in the English language to adequately describe Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz.

Cruz is an arrogant, bellicose, craven douchebag who often tries to troll people on social media, only to wind up owning himself.

Even Ted’s 13-year-old daughter, Caroline, is spectacularly unimpressed with her father, saying on a video she posted to TikTok:

“A lot of people judge me based upon him at first glance, but I really disagree with most of his views.”

And now something the senator had to say about an upcoming speaking engagement at Yale University is making the internet gag in disgust.

HuffPost reports:

Cruz, a graduate of Princeton and Harvardmeant to diss Yale on “The Liz Wheeler Show” and his own “Verdict With Ted Cruz” podcast when he said Yale would probably require him to (initially) be in a “smoking jacket with maybe a Sherlock Holmes pipe and maybe some Madeira.”

He mused: “Or, I don’t know, has it gone more hippie than that? Like, nude and taking peyote or something.”

Oh hell no! Do not give us that mental image to contemplate! That’s enough to gag a damn maggot.

Twitter immediately reacted with complete disgust:

Capitol Insurrection Donald Trump Elections GOP January 6

Ted Cruz Under Investigation For Coordinating January 6 Coup Attempt With Trump: Report

On the evening of December 8, 2021, Sen. Ted Cruz received an urgent call from then-President Donald Trump.

Trump notified Cruz that a lawsuit had been filed with the U.S. Supreme Court that would overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election, and the president wanted to know if Cruz would agree to argue the case before the high court.

Cruz responded:

“Sure, I’d be happy to.”

For the next two months, according to Michael Kranish of The Washington Post, Cruz began “leading the charge” to try and guarantee that Joe Biden was never certified as the 46th President of the United States:

An examination by The Washington Post of Cruz’s actions between Election Day and Jan. 6, 2021, shows just how deeply he was involved, working directly with Trump to concoct a plan that came closer than widely realized to keeping him in power. As Cruz went to extraordinary lengths to court Trump’s base and lay the groundwork for his own potential 2024 presidential bid, he also alienated close allies and longtime friends who accused him of abandoning his principles.

Cruz’s actions — especially his coordination with Trump attorney John Eastman — have drawn the attention of the House Select Committee on the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection, and could result in the Texas Republican being referred to the Justice Department for criminal charges.

While the committee knew about Eastman’s attempts to interfere in certification of the 2020 vote, Cruz’s role has only recently come to light:

On Jan. 2, 2021, Cruz unveiled his plan for states to start an “emergency 10-day audit,”backed by 10 other senators. The idea was met with ridicule even from some of Trump’s most vociferous supporters. “Proposing a commission at this late date — which has zero chance of becoming reality — is not effectively fighting for President Trump,” Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) said on Twitter. The conservative magazine National Review lambasted the idea in an article headlined: “The Folly of the Cruz Eleven.”

All of this has put Cruz squarely in the center of the Jan. 6 committee’s recent efforts to better understand the actions of various people who were hellbent on making sure Trump remained in office no matter what the final ballot totals showed.

The Jan. 6 committee has asked a number of people about the senator’s actions in the lead-up to the insurrection. Among the questions the committee may address is whether Cruz talked with Trump or the president’s lawyers and aides as the events unfolded on Jan. 6.

Cruz, who initially agreed to answer questions from The Post about his role in the events leading up to the Capitol riots, later refused to comment:

Cruz, after initially agreeing to an interview with The Post at his Senate office, canceled shortly before it was to begin and declined to speak to a reporter. The Post then submitted a lengthy set of written questions, only some of which were addressed directly by Cruz’s spokeswoman.

Asked whether Cruz had communicated in any way with Eastman about challenging the election, the senator’s spokeswoman, Maria Jeffrey Reynolds, did not respond directly.

Only guilty people refuse to answer questions about their actions. And it certainly sounds like Sen. Cruz has enough guilt in the failed election coup to merit him being required to answer questions under oath.
