Bannon Has Impotent On-Air Meltdown A Day After Being Booked On Criminal Charges

Former Trump administration official Steve Bannon is BIG mad, so he’s making all sorts of absurd accusations and suggesting that he’ll have his revenge though it remains unclear how he intends to do much of anything if he’s put on trial, found guilty, and send to federal prison for up to two years for contempt of Congress.

A day after he had to surrender to the FBI, be fingerprinted, photographed, and treated like what he is — a common criminal — Bannon was back on his “War Room: Pandemic” podcast spinning new conspiracy theories and making the case against him even stronger with ever word he spews.

After showing video clips from the 1979 Francis Ford Coppola film “Apocalypse Now,” Bannon began ranting:

“MAGA is punching back. OK? We’re not going to sit here and just take it anymore. After months and months and months and months of just their rhetoric and trying to weaponize the law and weaponize DOJ, we’re not going to take it. We’re going on offense.”

Weaponize the DOJ? That’s what failed, one-term, twice-impeached ex-President Donald Trump did. Bannon is engaging in classic psychological projection and isn’t even smart enough to realize it.

Bannon also claimed that President Joe Biden’s meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping was a “surrender” to the Chinese Communist Party:

“Their whole family is compromised by [China’s] money. There will be a massive investigation as soon as we take back the House.

“They know they’re going to be in the minority! We’re going to rub their noses publicly in the malfeasance that their lives are. OK?”

Notice how Bannon failed to mention that Trump is compromised by Russian and Saudi money? He doesn’t want to upset the countries that own and control his lord and savior. And his prediction that Republicans will win control of the House is also premature. The 2022 midterm elections are a year away, and there’s no telling how many Republicans will have been indicted by then for their role in the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection.

Later in his podcast/clown show, Bannon raised his voice as he declared:

“This is the war that they’ve brought to us!

“We’re going to fight it every day and we don’t care what [Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA)], we don’t care what the Marxist — from his Marxist traitor father — little Jamie Raskin (D-MD) and the Farrakhan mouthpiece [Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS).”

Hey, Steve, but it’s kinda hard to “fight” when you’re trying to stay out of lockup.

Here’s the video of Bannon’s hissy fit:

Hillary Clinton Only Needed 5 Words To Expertly Troll Steve Bannon

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton managed to get some sweet revenge on those allied with failed, one-term ex-President Donald Trump with a 5 word tweet she sent out Monday shortly after Steve Bannon surrendered to federal authorities being charged with criminal contempt of Congress.

HuffPost notes that Clinton was ready when the opportunity presented itself:

Clinton, who has endured years of Donald Trump’s “lock her up” smears, responded to a tweet asking, “You know who is not going to jail and has never been indicted for anything?” The person who posted that question also wished Clinton a “great weekend.”

“Thanks, it was quite restful,” wrote Clinton on Monday after Bannon surrendered to the FBI.

Twitter was in total agreement with Clinton and the shade she threw:

Greene Kisses Steve Bannon’s A*s After He’s Referred To DOJ For Contempt: ‘I Was Disgusted And Furious!’

On Thursday, the House of Representatives voted to refer former Trump adviser Steve Bannon to the Justice Department for criminal contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with a subpoena for documents and testimony sought by the Select Committee on the Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol.

According to the Washington Post, if the DOJ does charge Bannon with contempt, he could be looking at spending at least a year in jail:

Bannon has previously argued through his attorney that he can’t respond to the subpoena because of executive privilege asserted by former president Donald Trump.

The matter now goes to the Justice Department, which will decide whether to pursue the contempt referral. Contempt of Congress is a misdemeanor criminal offense that can result in up to one year in prison and a fine of up to $100,000.

Prior to the vote, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) asked his colleagues to consider if they were willing to allow some people to declare that they’re above the law:

Shortly after the vote, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who may also be facing a subpoena for the Jan. 6 committee in the near future, made an appearance on Bannon’s podcast, “War Room: Pandemic,” and wasted no time verbally kissing his ass:

“Here they are, celebrating voting to hold an innocent American in criminal contempt!”

An innocent American? If Bannon and the rest of the suspected plotters are so innocent, why don’t they willingly agree to cooperate with the committee? Only guilty people refuse to comply with a legal subpoena.

Greene then claimed that after the vote — which was approved by a 229-to-202 vote, with 9 Republicans crossing the aisle to vote “yes” — she approached Reps. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Jamie Raskin (D-MD) and confronted them for taking action against Bannon:

“They lied about you, they lied about President Trump and I was disgusted and furious! So I yelled at them on the House floor! I let Liz Cheney have it, I let Adam Schiff have it, I let Raskin have it! I couldn’t contain myself — I said you people are a joke!”

Classic psychological projection by Greene, who is vying for being the biggest joke of a so-called “representative” when you consider that she managed to get herself booted off all committee assignments with her big mouth and anti-Semitic rhetoric.

Greene and her ilk are running scared, and they damn well should be. If the Jan. 6 committee finds evidence they were also a part of the plotting, they too could wind up being charged with crimes even more serious than contempt of Congress.

Dem Congresswoman Throws MAJOR Shade At Matt Gaetz During Wednesday Hearing

At a hearing of the House Rules Committee on Wednesday, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) got a painful reminder of the fact that he’s under investigation for sexually trafficking young girls.

The committee was meeting to discuss a criminal referral for Steve Bannon to be held in contempt of Congress after he refused to testify before the January 6 Select Committee.

Gaetz was present as a witness to defend Bannon and argue against holding him in contempt when Rep. Norma Torres (D-CA) hinted at the accusations that have been made against the Florida congressman.

Torres began by remarking:

“It is unfortunate that we have to look at the moral character of how people deny and try to try and twist the truth around what happened. People died.”

And then she brought the shade, making it clear what she thought about Gaetz and the charges against him by noting:

“This is not about someone being sexually assaulted or somebody paying to have sex with a young girl or somebody not protecting people that are under their jurisdiction. This is about our democracy.”

Ouch! That burn is going to leave a mark.

On Monday, Gaetz got more bad news when a federal judge agreed to delay the sentencing of his former “wingman,” Joel Greenberg for another four months because he’s providing so much information to prosecutors:

Federal prosecutors told the judge they needed more time due to the breadth of leads Greenberg has handed over and the “number of lines of investigations” investigators are pursuing.

“This is obviously not a normal situation,” U.S. attorney Roger Handberg told the judge. “Mr. Greenberg is a prolific criminal.”

“Mr. Greenberg was not alone,” Handberg added. “This is an unusual situation with a number of lines of investigation we are pursuing.”

Everywhere he turns, Gaetz is getting reminded of the fact that he could wind up spending the rest of his life in prison for his actions with a 17-year-old girl. It couldn’t possibly happen to a more deserving douchebag.

BUSTED: Bannon Admits On Podcast That He Helped Plot The Jan. 6 Insurrection

Disgraced former White House adviser Steve Bannon may have sealed his own legal fate today when he admitted on his “War Room” podcast that he helped plot the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol which led to the deaths of five people, including a police officer.

On his show Wednesday, Bannon played a clip of Peril authors Bob Woodward and Robert Costa explaining how the Capitol riot had been planned prior to the event, with Costa saying during an appearance on MSNBC:

“You look at January 5th, we discovered that Steve Bannon, the former White House strategist, was there at the Willard Hotel blocks from the White House with Rudy Giuliani, having an almost war-room-type meeting with other Trump allies the eve before the January 6th insurrection. And Bannon had actually been in close touch with President Trump for days before January 6th. Based on our reporting, he privately told President Trump to have a reckoning on January 6th. And he said to the president, it’s time to kill the Biden presidency in the crib.”

After he played the clip, Bannon remarked:

“Yeah, because his legitimacy. 42% of the American people think that Biden did not win the presidency legitimately.”

Gee, Steve, why would those people think that? Probably because Trump, Fox News, Newsmax, One America News, and other right-wing outlets repeated that lie over and over again until it took hold among those who couldn’t accept that the majority of the American people had rejected the failures of Trump and were ready to kick him to the curb.

Bannon then tried to cover his ass by suggesting that the Biden administration was imploding:

“It killed itself. Just look at what this illegitimate regime is doing. It killed itself. OK? But we told you from the very beginning, just expose it, just expose it, never back down, never give up and this thing will implode.”

Maybe Bannon can content himself with that fact when he’s put in handcuffs and charged with sedition and conspiracy to commit murder.
