MAGA Twitter Explodes With Red Hot Rage After Kevin Costner Endorses Liz Cheney

The MAGA minions who hang out on Twitter and still defend failed, one-term, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump are absolutely apoplectic about a tweet sent out by Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) touting the endorsement of Oscar-winning actor Kevin Costner.

The Hill reports that Cheney tweeted out a photo of Costner wearing a T-shirt that makes clear who he supports:

ITK confirmed that Costner is the smiling figure featured in Cheney’s tweet, which included a message: “Real men put country over party.” Cheney’s office didn’t respond to questions from ITK about details of Costner’s backing.

Costner’s support comes at a critical time for Cheney, as a poll released just last month shows her trailing her main primary challenger, Trump-backed Harriet Hageman, by more than 20 points.

In case you’re wondering, Costner considers himself to be an independent, telling The Daily Beast in 2020:

“I vote for who I think has the best interests of the country and how we sit in the world. 

“The Democratic Party doesn’t represent everything that I think, and neither does the Republican Party right now — at all. So, I find it too limiting.”

However, a quick look at some of the postings in response to Costner’s T-shirt backing Cheney makes it clear that the Trump faithful consider the actor to be a traitor, even though they know nothing about him.

Trump Shows Up Looking Like ‘Emperor Palpatine’ At Saudi-Backed Golf Tournament And People Have Questions

If you’re keeping track at home, failed, one-term, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump isn’t at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida today. Instead, he showed up for the LIV Golf pro-am at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

The Washington Post filed this report from Bedminster:

Trump teed off to a clattering of cameras to start the tournament’s pro-am competition, but the course was otherwise mostly silent as he moved down the first fairway, with Thursday’s event closed to the public.

Trump, an avid golfer whose loose adherence to the game’s rule book has been scrutinized, rarely plays in public. His midmorning round came days after news reports that the Justice Department is questioning Trump’s associates about his actions surrounding the Jan. 6 insurrection

Asked by a reporter on the first tee box if he intended to announce his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election, he said, “You’re gonna be so happy … we’ll let you know pretty soon.”

The LIV tournament, you may know, is very controversial because it’s bankrolled by Saudi Arabia:

This week marks the third event of the controversial LIV Golf series, and its second in the United States. With its Saudi benefactors bankrolling the enterprise and poaching golfers from the PGA and European tours with lucrative contracts and signing bonuses, the new tour has faced heavy criticism. This week, with three days of golf taking place on a Trump-owned course less than 50 miles from Manhattan, promises a new level of scrutiny.

Already, family members of 9/11 victims have called on Trump to cancel the event and had two news conferences planned for this week in Bedminster in an effort to shine a light on Saudi involvement in the attacks — which involved 15 Saudi nationals — and make sure golfers are aware of what they’ve signed up for.

But it was a photo of Trump at the golf tournament that set off a great deal of social media chatter. Here’s the image shared by The Daily Mail:

Holy shit! Is that Trump or a mangled shoe? Granted, he’s buck ugly, but he looks worse than ever. Maybe it’s the heat, but then again, maybe he forgot to wear his makeup. That, or it all melted off in the sun, which is one of the problems with trying to desperately to hide your real age and physical condition, which was shit to begin with.

It didn’t take long for Twitter to weigh in, and some of the comments were both spot-on and hilarious.

Matt Gaetz Disgustingly Fat Shames A Teen Girl – And Gets His A*s Handed To Him

Florida Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz is one of the most abhorrent and disgusting excuses of a human being currently crawling across the face of the planet, but he just got his karma leveled and ass handed to him by a teenage girl.

You may recall that Gaetz had this to say while speaking that the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit in Tampa, Florida on Saturday:

“Why is it that the women with the least likelihood of getting pregnant are the ones most worried about having abortions? Nobody wants to impregnate you if you look like a thumb.”

A few minutes later, Gaetz added:

“These people are odious from the inside out. They’re like 5’2, 350 pounds, and they’re like, ‘Give me my abortions or I’ll get up and march and protest.'”

That led Olivia Julianna, a 19-year-old abortion rights advocate, to clap back at Gaetz on Twitter:

Proving his own immaturity, Gaetz couldn’t help but respond:

And that’s when Julianna decided to drop the hammer on Florida Man Matt, reminding him that he’s under investigation for being a perv.

The bad news is that, as the Washington Post reports Gaetz’s ire has led to Julianna being threatened on social media, but she took the high road and made lemonade out of Matt’s lemons and bile:

In response, Olivia Julianna announced a fundraising campaign on behalf of Gen Z for Change, a 500-person youth-led group that says it seeks to create tangible change on “issues that disproportionately affect young people” and supports abortion rights.

“This is absolutely the most insane amount of donations we have had thus far from individuals, especially in such a short frame of time,” she said in an email. “On a broader scale, this highlights the extreme power of social media mobilization, and it shows Republican politicians that their cheap attacks and political theater will no longer be tolerated.”

Bravo, Olivia Julianna! You just taught us all how to take down a bully.

Eric Swalwell Has The Perfect Comeback When Lauren Boebert Claims He’s Intimidated By Her

For some unknown reason, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is under the impression that anyone who avoids her must be intimidated by her.

But why would anyone be the least bit intimidated by the vacuous congresswoman who needed multiple tries to pass the GED exam and proves on a daily basis just how clueless she is?

HuffPost reports that Boebert said during an interview with failed GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee that she doesn’t understand why Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) doesn’t want to have anything to do with her:

Boebert packed in as many insults as she could against Swalwell in an interview with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee on his TBN talk show.

Boebert called Swalwell — a la kindergarten — “Eric Smells Not So Well.”

“I’ve actually tried to have conversations with Eric Smells Not So Well. It doesn’t really work out. He bee-lines away from me. And so maybe I’m intimidating.”

But rather than getting angry, Swalwell got even, referencing a scene from the 2009 movie “He’s Just Not That Into You” where one character tells the other, “Don’t call him. He doesn’t like you.”

Twitter quickly gave Swalwell a social media standing ovation and heaped scorn on Bobo:

Stephanie Ruhle Lays An Perfect Smackdown On Elon Musk When He Tries To Troll Hunter Biden

Not so terribly long ago, Elon Musk was seen as one of the shrewdest and most successful entrepreneurs around, riding high and achieving the title of richest man in the world.

Now, however, after Musk launched a wildly overpriced $44 billion takeover bid of Twitter which he’s trying to renege on at the moment and stock in Tesla Motors has gotten crushed in the market, Elon is little more than a cautionary tale. Yes, he’s still a billionaire, but his bizarre behavior (and fondness for impregnating almost every women he meets) has turned him into something of a joke.

Perhaps hoping to remain semi-relevant and rile up those who worship him like a god (sounds a bit like another “great businessman,” doesn’t it?) Musk decided he’d take to Twitter and troll Hunter Biden with this semi-humorous posting:

MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle saw Musk’s tweet and decided she’d reply, telling him this:

That’s a fair point, and be sure to note that Ruhle didn’t resort to name-calling or trying to counter-troll Musk.

And yet, Musk went low instead of high:

In the world of spoiled rich boy assholes that Elon Musk inhabits, Ruhle probably should have lit him up and made fun of him, but she didn’t, and that alone proves she’s a much better person than he’ll ever be.

So what say you, Elon? Are you willing to debate a smart, strong woman, or are you too busy losing what’s left of your fortune paying child support and attorney retainers? I’m betting you won’t because you’re a coward who prefers to hide behind his Twitter account.
