Lindsey Graham Uses Call With Ukrainian President To Bash Biden And Gets Ripped A New One On Twitter

On Saturday, several members of Congress spoke with Ukrainian President Voldomyr Zelenskyy via Zoom, and after the video call was finished, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) decided he’d post a video on Twitter what he called the “takeaways” of the conversation, even though doing so could well present a security risk for Zelenskyy.

Graham, however, like so many Republicans who have never and will never be President of the United States, couldn’t resist trying to pretend he knows something about foreign policy and diplomacy, even though the only thing he’s ever succeeded at is whining and complaining.

In his video of what he discussed with Zelenskyy, Graham included what can only be called a subtle but pointed criticism of President Joe Biden and the administration, remarking:

“Apparently, the United States is part of the problem, not the solution.”

Yes, know-nothing, feckless members of the Senate who try to run foreign policy instead of staying in their lane are indeed part of the problem and have no solutions to anything.

Twitter lit up with mockery, snark, and anger aimed directly at the South Carolina Republican.

No one wants to hear your crap, Lindsey. Sit down and shut the hell up.

Viral Video Shows Russian Helicopter Being Shot Down By Ukrainian Forces

Ukrainian forces battling invading Russian military are proving to be incredible able fighters, and they showed their prowess with a video posted online that has quickly gone viral.

CNN was one of the first U.S. news outlets to show the footage, with host John Berman noting:

Live breaking news, brand new video from the armed forces of Ukraine. Watch this. That’s something you can see that right there, that shows what appears to be a Russian helicopter being shot down now, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry just posted this video on their official Twitter account. This area, just north of Kiev, includes a base where the Russians have been running helicopter operations and which has also been under attack by Ukrainian forces for at least a day. We should say we haven’t been able to independently verify when this happened or any more details about this.

The United States has been sending surface-to-air Stinger missiles to the Ukrainians, and it appears those are paying big dividends. The Stingers were also used against Soviet forces who invaded Afghanistan in 1979 to devastating effect.

There are also reports out of Russia that some members of the Russian military are refusing to attack the Ukrainians and have instead decided not to fight.

Russia Viral Video Vladimir Putin WTF?!

American Man Embedded With Russian Forces Invading Ukraine Hails Putin As A Savior

Before YouTube took the videos down, Russell “Texas” Bentley was racking up thousands of views as he proudly cheered Russian military forces attacking Ukraine and praised President Vladimir Putin, telling viewers:

“These guys are tough. These guys are ready. And there’s plenty of ‘em. We’re gettin’ ready to bring the hammer down. These guys are going to save and liberate all the good people of Ukraine. And the bad people? BOOM! Kick their ass.”

As Rolling Stone found out, Bentley was actually embedded with Russian troops who were in the process of attacking Ukrainian cities, and his videos led a lot of people to wonder, What is the deal with this guy?

The deal is that Bentley was born and raised in Highland Park, Texas, and used to make his living selling weed to lots of clients in the Lone Star State:

Bentley wasn’t just promoting pot, he was dealing it — importing substantial quantities of weed from Texas to Minnesota. And by 1996, Bentley got tripped up by the DEA. He was arrested for felony trafficking and sentenced to federal prison. But only months before he was scheduled to be released in 1999, according to court documents, Bentley broke out of the minimum security facility where he was being held. “I didn’t have to dig a tunnel or take anybody hostage,” he recalls. “But I did escape from prison.”

Oh, and Bentley is also a big fan of former Libyan strongman Muammar Gadhafi:

“He was one of the greatest,” Bentley says fondly of the larger-than-life dictator whom the International Criminal Court accused of war crimes. Bentley says that when “Gadhafi was brutally murdered on video, it really pissed me off.”

And now Bentley is shilling for Putin. But why? His reasons are nothing less than absurd:

“This is the battle, not just of Ukraine. This is the battle between good-and-evil for the future of the world. And right now, it’s looking like the world might just have a chance because us and our friends are kicking some Nazi ass right now.”

As you can see from the video below (which is still available on Twitter), if and when Russell Bentley does return to the United States, there’s a good chance he’ll be facing a long interrogation from the Justice Department.

Trump’s Solution To The Russian Invasion Of Ukraine: We Have To ‘Work Out A Deal’ With Putin

Now that Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered his military to use the maximum amount of force on large Ukrainian cities such as Kyiv and Kharkiv, the number of civilian casualties is skyrocketing and likely to go much higher in the days ahead because the Russian tyrant has no respect for human life or how much blood is spilled to accomplish his selfish aims.

But rather than ratcheting up sanctions to punish Putin, failed, one-term former President Donald Trump says the time has come for the world to “work out a deal” with the Russian mass murderer.

Speaking with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo, the twice-impeached ex-president suggested the Ukrainians were fighting well against the Russian troops because of the “weapons I gave and that the Ukrainians use so well.”

Bartiromo then asked Trump:

“I want to get your take on how Joe Biden needs to respond, to people like Vladimir Putin and [Chinese President] Xi Jinping, given the atrocious actions taken by Putin in the last seven days – possible crimes against humanity.

“Would you still afford Putin respect at this time?”

It certainly sounded like Trump did indeed afford Putin respect. Just a few days ago he referred to the Russian despot as a “genius.” And today he told Bartiromo:

“You have to work out a deal.

“They have to stop killing these people. They’re killing all these people, and they have to stop it. And they have to stop it now. But they don’t respect the United States. So the United States is, I don’t know, they’re not doing anything about it.”

You have to work out a deal.

What sort of deal? Do you drop the sanctions and trust Putin to withdraw his forces? Or you do tempt him with his very own luxurious Trump Tower in downtown Moscow, perhaps overlooking the Kremlin where you can watch as Vlad has his political opponents assassinated in broad daylight?

Work out a deal with a murdering thug who would gladly kill millions of innocent people so he can restore the old Russian empire? No and hell no.

If Trump was president right now, he’d be willing to idly sit by and watch as Putin gobbled up one NATO nation after another. It’s one of ten millions reasons why Donald Trump is the second-biggest threat to the safety and security of the world.

Former Trump Administration Official Whines That Russia Is Being ‘Canceled’ For Invading Ukraine

Monica Crowley is a former Fox News host who later got a job in the Trump administration as Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Public Affairs, even though her only qualifications were that she’d once been a host on Fox News.

And now Crowley is showing up on Fox to make a complete fool of herself as she comments on the Russian invasion of Ukraine, telling host Jesse Watters that Russia is being “canceled” just because they illegally invaded another sovereign nation:

“Look, Russia is now being canceled, right? I mean, between the fierce Ukrainian resistance and the widespread international financial sanctions and boycotts, and Russian teams being barred from international competition, Russia is being canceled.”

Of course, the idea of something being “canceled” is part of a larger narrative that the right-wing has been pushing for years now. If someone makes a disgusting statement and faces backlash for it, they’re supposedly being canceled. If people decide to boycott a business because they refuse to serve the LGBTQ community and that impacts their bottom line, that’s canceling something.

And yet, conservatives have no problem saying certain books shouldn’t be allowed in schools because they show the horror of slavery or reassure young people it’s OK to be different, to be an individual, and to love whoever you want.

Twitter wasn’t having any of Crowley’s whiny bullshit:
