Failed Ex-POTUS Emerges From Exile To Praise Rush Limbaugh – But Makes It All About Himself

Right-wing radio host Rush Limbaugh died of lung cancer on Wednesday at the age of 70, and it’s believed that his soul entered hell a few seconds after the last breath left his bloated body.

Amazingly, the failed, one-term 45th president, Donald Trump, decided he would emerge from his self-imposed exile and comment on the passing of Rush, calling into the Fox News program “Outnumbered” and noting:

“He was special. Rush is irreplaceable. He had an audience that was massive.

“He was a fantastic man, a fantastic talent and people, whether they loved him or not, they respected him.”

No. That’s total bullshit. Limbaugh wasn’t special. He was a world-class asshole and shithead. He picked on the vulnerable and spread bullshit conspiracy theories. And he wasn’t respected by everyone. That’s a gigantic lie and extreme hyperbole.

Trump also mentioned that he had awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to the late radio host, forever cheapening that honor for everyone else who has ever or will ever receive the award.

And then Trump managed to make the death of his so-called “friend” all about himself, just like he always does, because Donald Trump is a malignant narcissist who insists that he always be the focus of everyone’s attention, once again insisting that the 2020 election had been stolen from him:

“I was disappointed by voter tabulation, I think it’s disgraceful. We were like a Third World country on election night with the closing down of the centers and all of the things that happened.

“And (Rush) was furious at it. And many people are furious. You don’t know how angry this country is. And people were furious.”

If “many people are furious,” many more are relieved to be rid of Trump and his presidency of grift and massive incompetence. Matter of fact, based on Joe Biden’s current 62 percent approval rating, it certainly seems like the American voting public is delighted that the Trump crime family is no longer turning the White House into just another of their trashy, gold-plated dens of iniquity.

There’s no reason to cry for Rush Limbaugh. He was a complete douchebag and a miserable excuse of a human being. No wonder the Donald wanted to pretend to pay tribute to him: They’re two peas in a damn pod.

Weeping Trump Supporter Tells Rush Limbaugh: ‘I Would Die For My President’

Those who most fervently support Donald Trump no matter what he says or does can’t really be considered mere followers or supporters, if only because they forgive Trump anything and everything, even when the facts clearly prove that he’s lying.

That being said, consider some of the signs that you’re in a cult, courtesy of the Atlantic:

  • Opposing critical thinking
  • Seeking inappropriate loyalty to their leaders
  • Isolating members and penalizing them for leaving

Sound familiar when applied to the Trump train? That’s because Trump is a cult leader and the people who refuse to accept that he lost to Joe Biden are his disciples and acolytes.

Need more proof? It was provided by a weeping Trump devotee on Rush Limbaugh’s radio show Friday.

A male caller began by telling Limbaugh that Trump voters who live in Georgia should be “very afraid.” He then continued, his voice filled with tearful emotion:

“Trump and you are all we have left, Rush. We’ve spent our lives voting for these people because they’re not them, and we just can’t do it anymore.

“They just basically told every Georgian that they don’t care.

“No one stands for us, Rush — only you and Donald Trump!”

But it was what the man said next that should send a chill up every rational person’s spine, because it shows just how unhinged and dangerous the Trump cultists are:

“God forbid — what do we have left? I love my president. I am not a revolutionary, Rush, but I would die for my president.”

He would die for Donald Trump. He’s got nothing left. He’s not a revolutionary, but he just pledged his life for a man who would laugh at his devotion behind his back, the same way he laughs at evangelicals who support him, remarking:

“(A) former campaign adviser recalled showing his boss a YouTube video of the Israeli televangelist Benny Hinn performing ‘faith healings,’ while Trump laughed at the spectacle and muttered, ‘Man, that’s some racket.’”

Referring to an evangelical pastor who was trying to get the money so he could buy a Gulfstream G650 private jet, Trump told his former attorney, Michael Cohen:

“They’re all hustlers.”

Donald Trump is a hustler, too, and he’s managed to hustle millions of Americans into believing he’s the only thing good in their otherwise pathetic lives.

There’s an old axiom that goes like this: In a religion, the “savior” dies for you. In a cult, you’re expected to die for the “savior.”

And they’re willing. That’s what makes them so damn dangerous and such a threat to the rest of us.

Rush Limbaugh: ‘ISIS Didn’t Exist When George W. Bush Left Office’

Don’t you just love how the far right engages in selective memory when it comes to historical matters which paint their heroes in an unflattering light?

The latest conservative icon to employ this method is windbag radio host Rush Limbaugh, who appeared on the Fox News Sunday show and tried to assert that the rise of the terrorist group ISIS was all the fault of President Obama.

But first, as he sought to soften the blow of appearing like an intolerant asshat on the subject of Syrian refugees, Limbaugh said:

“Look, I have friends who are Syrians. I play golf with them, they’re great people. This is not about that, it’s not about bigotry or racism or anti-ethnics or against certain nationalities. It’s about the defense and protection of the United States of America and our Constitution, which is what is the primary job of the president of the United States.”

From there, Limbaugh pivoted to an attack on President Obama:

“And again, he just doesn’t seem to be oriented in that direction or interested in it. It’s almost as though he thinks that we’ve committed all these crimes since our founding, ‘We’re unjust and immoral and it’s time for payback, it’s time for us to find out what the rest of the world goes through everyday.’”

Crimes committed since our founding? Well, there are plenty of those. Sounds like Rush needs to read Howard Zinn’s A People’s History of the United States. Even if he did, he’d probably accuse Zinn of being a Marxist.

Then Limbaugh decided to distort history to suit his own purposes with this bit of BS:

“The people leading the country today…they see us as the problem, not the solution, they think that we are responsible for some of these problems. They fall back and blame George W. Bush for what’s going on. ISIS didn’t exist when Bush left office.”

No, that would be completely untrue, Rush. See, the National Counterterrorism Center tells us that the group al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) was established in 2004 and later renamed the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), which is also commonly known as ISIS.

Also, it should be noted that had the United States–under the direct leadership of Bush and Dr. Evil aka Dick Cheney–not invaded Iraq, a power vacuum would not have been created in Iraq which directly led to the creation of ISIS. But hey, why focus on the past? Because, as Shakespeare once wrote, “What’s past is prologue.”
