Maxine Waters Slams Fox News For Telling A Blatant Lie About Her

Much like the failed, one-term loser POTUS they fervently supported and lauded over the course of four years, Fox News is also fond of attacking strong black women or any woman who dares to speak her mind, especially if that woman holds a position of political power.

Two days ago, Fox proved just how much they despise Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) by publishing a story alleging that she had demanded protection from federal air marshals on a flight she took from Washington, D.C. to Minneapolis to attend the trial of Derek Chauvin, who was later convicted in the death of George Floyd.

Sonya Hightower LoBasco, executive director of the Air Marshal National Council, told Fox that Waters “was already accompanied by two armed Capitol Police and two U.S. Secret Service agents when she allegedly requested two air marshals and two more marshals on touchdown to escort her in the airport.”

However, officials with the U.S. Secret Service and Capitol Police denied that allegation, leading Waters to aim her fire at the right-wing network, telling the Grio:

“Fox News is an organization that charades as a news outlet while manufacturing lies, claiming them as truths, and using their platform that reaches millions of Americans as a vessel to spread misinformation. It is no surprise that the targets of Fox’s misinformation campaigns include women of color like me, other people of color, and anyone who dares to speak the truth.”

Waters added that she’s considering filing a lawsuit against Fox, and she slam dunked them perfectly with this tweet:

The report from Fox News has also led to death threats against Waters, she revealed, Yahoo News notes:

“The caller who claimed to be from Louisiana referred to her as the n-word and said she deserved to be ‘hung by a rope for treason.’

“‘I pray for your death every day just like you prayed for the fucking conviction of an officer who is not guilty,’ the caller said. ‘So, go fuck yourself and go shove your face into some dough, in the kitchen, and make some gorilla cookies, bitch… Fuck you Maxine Waters…'”

Despite the threats, Waters says she won’t be silenced:

“My life is constantly threatened by racists, haters, and ill-informed people under the influence of the likes of Fox News. If in fact I lose my life because of these scurrilous attacks in the fight against injustice and racism, my life will not have been lost in vain.”

Fox News is a cancer on this country. Their lies are partially responsible for the insurrection we saw at the U.S. Capitol earlier this year. Here’s hoping Maxine Waters does indeed file suit against them.

Congress Racism WTF?!

Alan Dershowitz Compares Maxine Waters To The KKK And Gets Hit With Massive Internet Fury

In what some are calling a desperate cry for attention, Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz set off a firestorm of revulsion and anger by comparing Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) to the domestic terrorist group the Ku Klux Klan (KKK).

According to Mediaite, Dershowitz’s comments came during an appearance on Newsmax Tuesday in response to remarks made by Waters on the trial of Minnesota police officer Derek Chauvin.

Specifically, Waters urged the fight for justice to continue no matter what the verdict was in the Chauvin trial:

“We have got to fight for justice. I am very hopeful and I hope that we are going to get a verdict that will say guilty, guilty, guilty. I don’t know whether it’s in the first degree, but as far as I’m concerned it’s first degree.

“We have got to stay on the streets and we have got to get more active. We have got to get more confrontational. We have got to make sure that they know that they know we mean business.”

Dershowitz was outraged by what Waters said, responding:

“That’s not the way the system of justice should operate. We’re not under the rule of law in Minneapolis, we’re under the rule of the crowd.

“The irony of what Congresswoman Waters did, she borrowed the playbook of the Ku Klux Klan from the 192os, the 1930s. They would stand outside of courtrooms and they would threatened violence if any juror would ever acquit, a black person or convict a white person.”

Dershowitz then added:

“Now we’re seeing exactly the opposite was seeing mobs outside the courthouse and was seeing members of Congress just like the Klan had governors and senators and very prominent public officials demanding verdicts in particular cases is and now we have a member of Congress demanding a verdict in the case.”

That didn’t sit well with many on Twitter, who blasted Dershowitz for such a disgusting comparison and reminded him of the allegations against him:

Alan Dershowitz may have been a brilliant lawyer in his day, but now he’s just another right-wing nutjob. And God knows there are way too many of those.

Donald Trump

Maxine Waters Rips Donald Trump A New One For Acting Like A Dictator

According to Donald Trump, he has the “total authority” as president to say when every state and the U.S. economy reopen, and he’s suggesting that he will be making the decision to risk the lives of millions of Americans very soon. Reports are that he will recommend May 1 as the target date, but there are also suggestions it will happen much sooner.

Why is Trump willing to risk the lives of Americans this way? Because he’s terrified he’s going to lose in November if he doesn’t move fast and try to get the stock market and business world rolling again. In other words, as usual, it’s all about him.

Rep.Maxine Waters (D-CA), however, is calling Trump out for his recklessness and his dictatorial longings.

Waters took to Twitter and posted this reminder to the president:

And that wasn’t all Waters had to say about what Trump has been doing in recent weeks:

There’s also the matter of the egotistical Trump demanding that his signature be on every stimulus check that goes out to taxpayers, significantly delaying payments to those who receive paper checks instead of direct deposit. That one led Rep. Waters to note:

It’s safe to bet that Trump will be melting down big time when he reads those tweets, especially the last one. But then again, Waters is absolutely right: We have a con man in the White House and he’s as bogus as they come.

Thankfully, it’s only 201 days until we get to vote this fraud out of office.
