VIRAL VIDEO: Tennessee Mom Denounces Homophobic Fake Christians For Their Hypocrisy

Jessee Graham is a mother of four children who lives in Columbia, Tennessee, and she’s had enough of fake Christians who want to persecute LGBTQ Americans while at the same time saying nothing about the abuse of women and children by members of the clergy.

Graham spoke recently at Maury County Board of Trustees, NBC News reports, after the director of the public library, Zachary Fox, was forced to resign.

Fox’s resignation last week came after months of community pushback over the library’s display of LGBTQ books for Pride Month in June. Community members were also dismayed when Fox’s bar, Bad Idea Brewery, hosted a drag brunch last month.

That was the breaking point for Graham, who gave an impassioned speech to the Board of Trustees in which she noted that so-called “church” people are guilty of horrific abuses.

“I’ve never been sexually assaulted at a drag show, but I have been in church, twice. The men at the church told me it was my fault.”

Graham continued, the anger in her voice palpable as she spoke:

“They haven’t done anything to anyone. I am so sick of listening to this weird, fake pious crap about Christianity being the reason behind, ‘We have to protect the kids.’ Jesus didn’t go anywhere and condemn people! He did not ever walk into any place and spew hatred and lies and completely annihilate a group of human beings who just want to exist.

“You don’t need a moral compass to recognize that something is wrong when it immediately hurts other people So, why are we even here? Why are we even doing this? Why does hate even have a platform? I am so sick of these straight, white Christian males who are already at the top of the food chain acting like someone is out to get ’em! Leave them alone!”

Graham told NBC that attacking drag performers may be politically popular, but it’s the height of hypocrisy:

“It is hugely offensive to wipe away so many assaults that are currently being investigated at church while you’re pointing a finger at people who are just being authentic and happy. There’s not even a comparison of the two.”

How viral is the video of Graham? So far, it has been viewed over 1 million times, and if you listen closely, you can hear that many in the audience are applauding and cheering her on.

Jessee Graham is what a true American hero looks like.

Josh Hawley Gets Pelted With Online Mockery After Claiming There’s Only ‘One Gender’

Did you know that there’s really only one gender and that anything contradictory to that is “transgender propaganda”?

That’s what Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) is claiming in a fundraising email he sent out.

According to HuffPost:

The conservative lawmaker and running enthusiast recently sent a fundraising email that suggested teaching children about more than one gender was “transgender propaganda.” Any more than that goes “against nature, science and common sense.”

It probably won’t surprise you to learn that this isn’t the first time Hawley has made incredibly bigoted and disgusting remarks about members of the LGBTQ community.

During a Senate hearing in July, Hawley browbeat a law professor.

A UC Berkeley law professor told Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley that his line of questioning was “transphobic” during a Senate hearing related to abortion rights Tuesday.

The tense exchange began when Hawley, 42, asked Khiara Bridges, an expert in race and reproductive rights, for clarification regarding a comment she made about “people with the capacity for pregnancy.”

The Missouri Republican has also whined that masculinity is under attack in the United States:

In a keynote speech at the National Conservatism Conference last month, Hawley accused the political left of seeking to redefine traditional masculinity as toxic, and called for a “revival of strong and healthy manhood in America.”

“This is an effort that the left has been at for years now and they have had alarming success,” he said. “American men are working less, they are getting married in fewer numbers, they’re fathering fewer children, they’re suffering more anxiety and depression, they’re engaging in more substance abuse.”

For his “one gender” ignorance, Hawley was ripped all over social media.

Lauren Boebert: Roe v. Wade Doesn’t Affect The LGBTQ Community Because They ‘Can’t Get Pregnant’

Every time you read about Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), you probably wonder, “She cannot possibly get any dumber, can she?”

But as we’ve all learned since Boebert arrived in Congress two years ago, she does indeed get dumber, less informed, and clownish.

Today Lauren is weighing in on the issue of abortion and LGBTQ rights, two subjects she is wildly ignorant about.

After the House voted yesterday to codify same-sex marriage into federal law (with 47 Republicans crossing the aisle and voting with Democrats), Boebert went on television and said she couldn’t understand how the overturning of Roe v. Wade by the U.S. Supreme Court affected LGBTQ Americans because they can’t even get pregnant:

“I’m sorry, but if you’re not able to have a child, how does [the repeal of Roe vs. Wade] actually impact you?”

Clearly, Boebert didn’t bother to read (assuming she can actually read and comprehend) the concurring opinion from Justice Clarence Thomas in the SCOTUS decision that struck down Roe. If she had, she would have seen this:

“In future cases, we should reconsider all of this Court’s substantive due process precedents, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell. Because any substantive due process decision is ‘demonstrably erroneous’ … we have a duty to ‘correct the error’ established in those precedents … After overruling these demonstrably erroneous decisions, the question would remain whether other constitutional provisions guarantee the myriad rights that our substantive due process cases have generated.”

Obergefell was the decision which made same-sex marriage in the United States, and yet Thomas wants it overturned, too.

So how does Roe affect LGBTQ Americans? It’s all a matter of privacy, which the current conservative majority on the high court seems to think none of us have a right to privacy.

Twitter quickly took over and gave Boebert the mockery and humiliation she so richly deserved.

Clarence Thomas Urges SCOTUS To Overturn Same-Sex Marriage And Contraception Rights Next

With the 6-3 ruling in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the conservative majority on the Supreme Court has completely eliminated a right that women have had for five decades: The right to make her own reproductive and family planning decisions.

But in his concurring opinion, Justice Clarence Thomas made it clear that this is only the beginning of what the right-wingers on the high court have planned for the United States in the future.

Specifically, Thomas wrote:

“In future cases, we should reconsider all of this Court’s substantive due process precedents, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell. Because any substantive due process decision is ‘demonstrably erroneous’ … we have a duty to ‘correct the error’ established in those precedents … After overruling these demonstrably erroneous decisions, the question would remain whether other constitutional provisions guarantee the myriad rights that our substantive due process cases have generated.”

Yes, the Supreme Court is now coming for other rights, meaning that millions of same-sex couples will suddenly find that their marriages declared null and void.

Also, the right to contraception will be curtailed, especially in states ruled by Republicans. Both men and women will no longer able to purchase birth control pills or condoms. There will be an explosion of unwanted pregnancies and births in the United States, driving us ever closer to Third World status.

There is, however, a way to counter what the court has done today: Democrats, Independents, and Republicans who value the Constitution must vote in November so that legislation can be passed that will guarantee all of these rights and place them beyond the control of the extremist judges on the Supreme Court.

Disney Trolls Ron DeSantis With New LGBTQ ‘Pride’ Merchandise For Kids

When it comes to merchandising and knowing what fans want, Disney is second to none. Their branding is among the best in the world, and their souvenir T-shirts, caps, pajamas, tennis shoes, and even diapers are consistently among the hottest sellers in the world.

And now Disney is branching out with their merchandise in a way that’s certain to earn them millions more devoted followers (and dollars) while at the same time serving as a masterful trolling effort aimed squarely at Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and his controversial “Don’t Say Gay” bill which passed the state legislature and was signed into law in late March.

On the Disney website, there’s an announcement about the new Disney Pride Collection:

The Walt Disney Company will be donating all of our profits from the Disney Pride Collection sales now through June 30, 2022 to organizations that support LGBTQIA+ youth and families. This includes sales of Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars Pride Collection merchandise.

Lisa Becket, senior vice president of global marketing for Disney Parks, had this to say about the new Disney Pride collection:

“Honoring Pride is a long-standing tradition of The Walt Disney Company, and I am incredibly proud to work for a company that supports inclusion as a core value and provides a welcoming environment which allows me to bring my true authentic self to work. What do DeSantis and his minions in the Florida GOP have to show for their efforts? Nothing but months of bad PR and fading poll numbers for the governor, who is facing a very uncertain reelection bid in November.

Looks like Mickey Mouse just got the last laugh yet again.
